Why must Euroshop take so damn long to get in the latest stock?
CM Punk's T-Shirt (The original version, not the Nexus version) has been on sale from WWEShop for about just over a month now and yet, no sign of it on Euroshop. It was the same with Jericho's DVD. It went on sale on WWEShop, then it became available from the DVD retailers in the UK, but Euroshop didn't start selling it until nearly three months after WWEShop began selling it. Yet, recently, Euroshop just got a whole stock of John Cena merchandise in, and also, as soon as he gets a new T-Shirt or whatever, it's available from Euroshop the same week Cena debuted it. Mini-rant over. |

So yea, ordered two of the Nexus shirts and the original red/grey/black Aftershock Punk shirt. First WWE shirts in years that I've gotten (not counting the anti-Cena shirt which I had to make).

Kind of a random thought, but does anyone else think it is a good idea for WWE's talent relations to scout various college wrestling programs for future stars?
I know Lesnar and Ziggler were both recruited out of college, and I wonder if there's a pool of talent that WWE can benefit from raiding. |

I think as a form of building from within, and giving yourself the chance to build new stars, scouting college wrestlers could be a truly untapped market. Like you said, Swagger and Angle come from such backgrounds and have shown that they can adapt, and to different degrees, succeed. Also, Shelton Benjamin comes from similar beginnings. |
You're probably right on the 'won't affect the indy guys' chances. I just don't like it really because guys over on this side of the pond are never going to go to college and wrestle/be picked up that way ;)

And it would be ridiculously dumb if WWE didn't at the least invest some time and energy in scouting foreign college wrestlers. I mean, if they were to go the route of "drafting" and developing, so to speak, you'd think scouring the international markets would be a given. |
UK. We don't wrestle in college/uni over here although it's popping up more in gyms etc because of the MMA boom. I assume they might in other European countries though, namely the ones that seem to do well at the Olympics unless they just go to the States.
|
Really? Are there just not any programs at all? I find that odd.
That's another market WWE could try to tap into as well; MMA. Let's face it, not everyone is built to succeed in MMA and most don't. Maybe find some guys with great physical attributes and a good work ethic, offer him an oppurtunity to make money of he can apply himself and succeed if/when given the chance, and you could have a solid group of guys with good foundations. I'm actually surprised they haven't done this, seeing as how useful Ken Shamrock came to be in his short time with the company. |
Thanks guys :D

Apparently this song was on the non-US version of WWF The Music Volume 2 (WWF We Gotta Wrestle). |

I was watching the last disk of my Chris Jericho DVD last night and Jericho's match with Shawn Michaels from WrestleMania XIX was on it. Though I didn't know Dave Youell held up his signs as much as he did. Almost every time the camera angle changed to the static camera (View of the entire ring), Youell held up a sign, either his name or his TPWW sign.
It was weird though watching it, as his TPWW sign was so visible, yet, I never noticed it when I watched WrestleMania XIX live. Then almost a year later, I come across TPWW and sign up. |
Also, I wasn't a fan of the "censoring" on the DVD.
For example, they censored Jericho flipping off Stevie Richards and The Blue Meanie during his match with Cactus Jack. They made the screen black and white whenever there was blood, though during Jericho's match with Michaels at No Mercy, they just didn't show close-ups of Jericho's face when his tooth got knocked out by the ladder and his mouth was bleeding, yet J.R & Lawler still spoke about it like the camera was on Jericho's face. They cut out Jericho saying "Your subscription to Blue Ball Magazine" to Randy Orton when Jericho returned on Raw. Yet they didn't cut out The Rock saying "K-Y Jelly Plan" when Jericho debuted on Raw. They also dubbed "Rollin'" with "Your Gonna Pay" when The Undertaker came out, but I guess they had to so they wouldn't need to pay royalties to Limp Bizkit or whatever. They also censored words like "Bitch" and "Ass". But overall, Jericho's DVD is brilliant and I'm guessing those sorts of editing/censoring is normal with WWE Biography DVD's? I don't really buy the bio DVD's so I wouldn't really know if those sorts of things are normal, or if the WWE just went over the top with their censoring. |

The censoring of vulgarity, blood and changing camera angles are relatively new but apparently they do it for the DVDs now. I can't remember which it was for, possibly the Hell in a Cell DVD, but I heard that they were doing a lot of pull-away shots during one of the matches which weren't on the original airing because of blood.

Where can I watch Raw on the internet
I just cancelled my cable.
Are there any websites that have Raw Live? Or do I have to watch it on Youtube in like 300 segments? |
Justin.tv has it sometimes but the streams tend to get taken down.
