I'm really looking forward to Ambrose vs. Rollins in the Cell. I have a feeling one (possibly both) is going to do something really crazy.

It'd make sense for Triple H to come out and protect his investment, right? I could see him opening the cell as it looks like Ambrose is in control. Ambrose dives onto Triple H and fires rights at him. Rollins escapes out the door and climbs up to the top, as Ambrose gives chase. Kane comes up from behind and goes to Chokeslam Ambrose on the top, but then gets kicked low and delivered Dirty Deeds on a metal beam. Then...either Ambrose or Rollins goes off the cell. I actually think that long-term, it'd help Rollins more to lose in such spectacular style here.

Fucking love Sin Cara. One of my favorite workers in the company.

Lock Jaw 10-24-2014 09:31 PM

Hunico was great... only such a shame that he has to be hindered by that mask....

Mr. Nerfect 10-25-2014 01:59 AM

Hunico should have been a much bigger deal when he happened. He loses the mask, but gains a sense of "freedom" and can now be "himself." But they saddled him with the bicycle and a Tongan pretending to be his homie. Whatever.

Mr. Nerfect 10-25-2014 02:00 AM

I still think Alberto Del Rio vs. Hunico could have been a tremendous blood-feud in WWE. The classy aristocratic Mexican icon against a "dirty peasant" looking to carve a niche for himself.

Mr. Nerfect 10-25-2014 02:01 AM

Hunico seems really uncomfortable in the Sin Cara role at times, but he's been growing tighter with Kalisto, and they're developing a chemistry. It's good to see him holding gold too, even if it is just a vehicle to get Kalisto over long-term. In the short-term, that makes Sin Cara important.

lol

he is kinda cute! :y::D

Karl Anderson is reporting that a new Bullet Club member will be unveiled at Power Struggle.

Mr. Nerfect 10-25-2014 10:11 PM

I know it has no chance of happening, but CM Punk sliding into Bullet Club and teasing tension with AJ Styles would actually be a really intriguing storyline. Nothing original, but it could build to something epic for NJPW or GFW.

Earlier this month, WWE signed Zahra Schreiber, a professional model and tour manager, and Gionna Daddio, a Hooters model, after they worked a tryout in June. They both have reported to the WWE Performance Center and were at Thursday's NXT tapings, seen in the photo of this post. The three men with them in the photo have also been signed by WWE. They are: Sunny Dhinsa, pictured on the left, an amateur wrestler that was training for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Brazil at one point; Dustin Mueller, pictured in the center, is a bodybuilder from Chicago with no apparent wrestling or collegiate/pro sports background; Josh Woods is an amateur wrestler from the University of Central Florida with some MMA experience.

WWE NXT star Sawyer Fulton's name is partially based on 1970s and 80s wrestler Charlie Fulton. He was a regular "jobber to the stars" in the World Wrestling Federation in the early 80s, and his run most notably featured a loss to Antonio Inoki at Madison Square Garden in 1984.

The Portland Tribune reports that former WWE star Billy Jack Haynes is suing WWE in federal court for "egregious mistreatment of its wrestlers for its own benefit, as well as its concealment and denial of medical research and evidence concerning traumatic brain injuries suffered by WWE wrestlers." Hayes filed a 42 page lawsuit against WWE on Thursday. Hayes is asking the court to grant class-action status to his lawsuit for what his lawyers say could be 500 people who suffered injuries while performing in the WWE ring ...

In regards to the lawsuit filed against by WWE by former wrestler Billy Jack Haynes, WWE issued the following statement to me this afternoon: "Billy Jack Haynes performed for WWE from 1986-1988. His filed lawsuit alleges that WWE concealed medical information and evidence on concussions during that time, which is impossible since the condition now called chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) had not even been discovered. WWE was well ahead of sports organizations in implementing concussion management procedures and policies as a precautionary measure as the science and research on this issue emerged. Current WWE procedures include ImPACT testing for brain function, annual educational seminars and the strict prohibition of deliberate and direct shots to the head. Additionally, WWE has committed significant funding for concussion research conducted by the Sports Legacy Institute (SLI), leaders in concussion research, and WWE Executive Vice President Paul Levesque sits on SLI's Board."

JBL and Michael Cole will be making an announcement on Monday morning about their radio station. Cole tweeted the following today: "Monday morning. 9est huge announcement about @JCLayfield and my future. Podcast...Where you can hear plus we are on the radio! 200 stations"

As noted before, Mexican wrestling legend Hijo del Santino and his son Santo Jr. were backstage at Thursday's WWE NXT TV tapings in Florida. Speculation in Mexico is that Santo was trying to get his son a tryout with WWE.

It was reported this past week that Randy Orton may have re-aggravated a back injury in the RAW main event. There has been no confirmation that Orton is injured but he is not on the official internal injury list. This does not mean Orton isn't hurt but it's probably not a serious injury. On a related note, Orton mentioned on Twitter that he asked for a "RKO Outta Nowhere" t-shirt a few weeks back but hasn't received an answer. A fan asked Orton when we will get a shirt like that and Orton replied, "When they make room for something other than Cena merch."
Some other sheet news include Hogan showing up again for this week's RAW.

Droford 10-26-2014 06:17 PM

Guy in the middle and Mojo Rawley would be an interesting tag team.

Seth82 10-27-2014 12:30 AM

this is such an outstanding match.

one of those matches that NXT needs to have its rookies watch and take notes.

Championship Wrestling from Florida - Summer 1981. Florida Heavyweight Championship. Mike Graham (challenger) vs Dory Funk Jr (champion). This is the classic Australian Rules Match (six 7 minute rounds). Bill Alfonso is the ref. Great commentary from Gordon Solie and Coach John Heath. And then there's Terry.

Can't get into the rounds idea. Seems way to hammy/trying to treat it like a real sport. Best thing from Australia was tag team wrestling.

CWF Promoter Eddie Graham was a huge supporter and fan of real wrestling. He would send Danny Hodge and Dory Funk Jr to work out with the High School wrestling team.

http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c2..._7733889_n.jpg

Eddie also demanded respect and wanted people to think it was real. He didn't take crap from no one.

He took this business very seriously.

He made Bob Roop basically be his hired gunslinger and stretch the guys who thought they were wrestlers.

Bob for his part to this day regrets and hated that he would hurt these young guys.
