What grates me is when I use one for a brief period to take out a nest everyone gives me shit so I stopped using it. Fast forward a couple of days and everyone does it to me (unrelated players).

Was playing search and destroy last night for the first time (loved these games in the originals). A load of kids were playing but they were fucking amzing compared to me. I hated being the last man standing though because you know all your team is watching. Was defending one time, screwed up a shot (gave an inanimate object hell though) with five seconds to go, so just sprinted away. The guy I was shooting was all like 'where was he' and my team were just like 'he ran away'. Didn't really want to talk to kids so didn't bother.

Oh yeah I still don't know how to use a grenade launcher when I have it as an attachment :$

Press left on the D-Pad & it will put it in attachment mode.

As mentioned earlier, I don't understand how I can shoot a dude like 10 times with low level gun and then he just shoots one bullet in my leg and I die. PISSES ME THE FUCK OFF!!! 12 year olds talking shit is mad annoying.

Rate of fire and damage, a well placed Barrett hipfire can kill even after 5 UMP bullets have hit.

Also, 12 year olds talking in general is mad annoying.

Also, aim for the chest, as most guns recoil up, the 2nd and 3rd shots while hit neck then head.

No it can't, since the UMP is a 3 shot kill from any range.

He's right though. Shooting 1 Barrett if faster than 3 UMPs.

More than anything I hate getting 4 or 5 torso hits from near point blank only to be stabbed by the guy I was shooting

I think I have made the most hated setup in the game. Been rocking an ACR red dot with the AA-12 as my secondary, with the claymores as my equipment. Using scavenger, stopping power, and ninja as my perks. Have not played a game yet where someone didn't mouth me for using this setup.

er thats a completely standard setup, only ones people dislike are Noob Tube/Thumper Scavanger and people who use marathon commando and lightweight and just sprint around stabbing

Tell that to the crybabies I've been playing with over the past few days. Bitch about my no recoil assault rifle that I'm always just "spraying", and my automatic shotgun that is just so cheap.

I agree with you it really is just a basic setup, but the elite players I've been playing with seem to frown upon it.

Which is why I turned off the voice function after a few weeks of playing.

i cant tell you how many tenth level prestige fucks ive played against that use dual shotguns and noob tubes. Those bastards are the biggest culprits. Play the game to your stengths and dont listen to them. If theyre good enough, theyll know how to adjust and not die so much...if not, then clearly they arent as elite as they think they are.

It'll have a price on PC. One of the reasons they blocked dedicated servers was so they could flog DLC like they do on consoles.

It's not a matter of "if" but "when" -- there's a new Call of Duty game coming out this year, make no mistake about it.

According to a teaser in the latest issue of Official PlayStation Magazine UK, we'll find out more next month, prior to E3. The magazine teases an exclusive reveal of the title in its next issue, which is said to hit newsstands on May 17. Outside of the fact that the game will feature at least one grenade, that's all of the information we have right now.

called in my first nuke tonight! Had games of 17 and 19 killstreaks before i hit my 25 :D made two people quit when i called it in, who were talking shit the whole time in the lobby prior.

Most killstreak I ever had was 10. And I'm at lvl 70 of first prestige. :(

i played nothing but free-for-all the entire night, so getting that 25 streak was a real pain in the ass at time, particularly when i would call in my chopper gunner.

Had a blast last night on SnD. Whole team went with the Riot Shield to mess with the other team. Was really fun, and we won some really close games. Also found that it is nearly impossible to lose on Terminal when your team is using the riot shields.

Yay, mastered every assault rifle, SMG, and LMG :o

My highest kill streak is 24, didn't have the nuke yet :(

FAL is the single shot rifle. Pretty hard to be good with, because you have to aim right where you want it, instead of having a burst, or being able to just hold down the trigger. Can't just spray across someone. Just saying, as far as assault rifles go it is a pretty 'difficult' gun to use successfully.

Also, just got my Fall camo for it yesterday, which made me quite giddy.

For a time Fal was my default weapon, I called it a 'gentleman's weapon'.

I can't believe I managed to get the mastery for the FAL.

But combining it with the FMJ does make it pretty powerful. Then again it helps that I can fire like mad because I'm using mouse+keyboard.

Yeah, got the mastery and I love rocking that title with the golden eagle emblem. :love: First time I've gotten Mastery on any weapon.

if this were MW1, the Fal would rock ass like the M14 did (my weapon of choice in MW1)

G3 was pretty much the equivalent, and I rocked pretty hard with that in MW1 for the short while I played. Would say it was a better gun than the FAL, but I <3 the FAL all the same.

Im on a nuke roll, ive gotten 3 nukes in 4 nights...but my asshole friend tonight kept me from unlocking the ultimate sacrifice challenge because his fagget ass captured a flag :mad:

I use the FAL, I was just wondering why you thought it was difficult, that's all.

I guess it's difficult for the majority of the fanbase because it's not just point and click and die in one shot.

Finally got the thermal scope back on the Barrett .50 cal after prestiging. Gonna be having fun on Wasteland and Highrise tonight

BTW, meant to ask you guys, what levels are you playing the most right now?

For me it would seem overgrown, wasteland and invasion pop up the most. Rust pops up every 20 or so turns.

I play hardcore only, so it is one shot kill. But again, I find it difficult for the other reasons stated. It just plays differently than the other assault rifles.

Fucking Level 46, 2nd prestige right now. Begging for my ACR back, no other rifles really seem to be working for me right now.

What do you guys generally find are the best weapon attachments?

I find myself mainly using heartbeat sensor at the moment. Wondering if there is better out there. I swear one of them I've used in the past did nothing.

i use a silencer, thats pretty much it.

so i recently switched to hardline as my perk...but it seems everytime i use hardline, it seems to have the reverse effect on me, because i cant seem to get a killstreak going for SHIT

For me, I think it was the lack of Stopping Power that hindered me. Then I learned not to run headlong into a fight and it got better from there.

I use heartbeat when I play headquarters, because more people tend to not use ninja there. Usually use HB with bling so that I can get a sight or a silencer on my gun too.

Other gametypes, I just run a holo sight mostly, or a silencer if it's a gun with a good iron sight (UMP, M16).

Holographic is definitely my favorite of the sights though, and I use it on most of my guns when using sights.

Akimbo uzis make you feel like tupac.

Also use FMJ/Silencer on my AK class.

For my secondary I typically use tac knife if it's a pistol, or grip if it's a shotgun. Red dot sight on any of the machine pistols.

Akimbo P90s make you feel like WAR MACHINE.

Yeah agreed, but not good for long range.

Not really, i never could play with the dude due to his shitty internet connection having him either not connect or drop out of games before they start. I just noticed he's been absent on here, then last night while spec-oping with Roxer, i realized the dude wasnt on the list anymore. Or Roxers.

He was never on mine. I think he took the hint after I declined his 6th friend request. I had him on mute too because his mic was always fucked up and instead of being curtious and turning it off he would just argue with people who politely asked him.

Actually, I find myself muting a lot more people now. Just don't wanna deal with it anymore.

I hear ya...the MW2 community is awful. I feel like im a dying breed of gamer that cares about getting a win instead of personal stats like k/d. Im so sick of playing a skirmish game like CTF and 4 out of my 5 team mates not playing offense OR defense.

There are times where I see that we are playing a weaker opponent, and I do want to bring my k/d ratio up. But most of the time, I am looking for the win and not to boost my k/d ratio. People will piss and moan when I play highrise and I end up going like 6-3-4 and the guy who goes 18-1-17 will be like, "Why aren't you getting more kills". It's like sorry guy, I make my kills count.


With that said, I only snipe on highrise, wasteland, and estate

Mine too. That will happen when you are the only one on your team, trying to actually achieve the objective, of the objective based game.

Yeah no kidding. My k/d is decent, i think its at 1.30 right now...but when i play a skirmish game, i dont keep that in mind...if it dips, it dips, so long as we win. I dont mind someone playing skirmish for k/d if they can actually blend it into a factor for winning (such as being a solid defender).

Typically if the lead if secured, i'll start focusing on k/d.

What happened to Fallen Angel? He's off my friends list and I checked you guy's friends and didn't see him on yours either.

It depends what was modded. They ban the profile if you're cheating online or hacking your profile and ban the console if you're pirating/JTAGing.

Popped in COD4 tonight for nostalgia. I guess playing MW2 makes you better at it because I owned almost every match.

Didn't they do double XP when the map pack came out on 360? Came out for PS3 the other day, and was disappointed at the lack off double XP.
