if the Seahawks have to go to \Carolina next week I'm putting money on Carolina who will surely be huge home dogs

Droford, what the hell is wrong with you? This is a serious question. Do you post like this just to anger people with how dumb you sound?

Buccos got the #1 pick next season. Famous Jameis (if he declares) don't have to travel far if he goes #1.

Buffalo Bills are no longer a joke team. Congrats on a winning season for the people here who root for the bills as their second or third options.

Hanso is a Bills fan

Thanks for coming Atlanta Falcons :n:

Oh, right. Need to do my Giants end of season wrap-up post. If you had told me before the year that the Giants would finish 6-10, I'd have told you that it'd be the end of the Manning-Coughlin Era, but it's definitely going to last another year. Neither man is to blame for this.
Eli is the least of their worries. He was shit last year but it's clear he's taken to the new offense. Second-highest TDs and yardage in his career, lowest INT total since 2009, and after all the preseason laughing about McAdoo wanting him to complete 70% of his passes, he wound up completing 63.1% which is not bad at all. He's on the same page as OBJ, which is reason enough to keep him. Throw in the fact that there is nobody better available and Eli coming back is an easy choice. The only question left is whether they extend him this offseason as 2015 is his final year under contract. And with Coughlin, he's a good coach. And again, there are no better, realistic options to replace him. The fall guys should be Perry Fewell and Tom Quinn, as the defense and special teams have been a mess for years. I think Walton and Jerry are weak links on OL. Ideally they draft a RT and next years OL is Beatty-Schwartz-Richburg-Pugh-New Guy. I expect OT will be their top target in the draft unless JPP walks, in which case it might be a classic Giants DE pick. |
So its lookin like Lions/Cowboys. Not liking the matchup rather play Greenbay

Won't be surprised if Suh gets fined and/or punished for that stomp on Rodgers. 1st step seemed accidentally but the second was deliberate.

Why doesn't Dallas have the tiebreaker over Seattle

Cuz its a 3 way tie , and head to head matchups are out the window

What do you mean "around" 49 wins? It's not a percentage with a decimal point that you have to round up. There's an exact number.
|
Was looking up the actual number and records to be sure while posting that.
5-3 in the playoffs so 49 wins to be exact. |

:D Pats won.

So bummed to see Harbaugh go. The Yorks frequently do this shitty personnel dance. Fuck them. On the other hand, I finally have a college team to cheer for definitively.

Gio may have a small role with the Bengals now but he is still a huge player for them.
|
Johnny Manziel might be done with the Browns along with Josh Gordon.

Mike Smith is probably gone, which is a shame. Matty Ice should be worried about his job as QB if I was him. |

Im now rooting for a tie so the Ravens can play the Colts

Ravens have never beaten the Steelers in the playoffs.. I dont need to be reminded of that

The hell was that. |
Ballgame

Also good luck to cincy (pun?) vs Indy if they dont have Green who took a lick there

The good thing about Jim taking the Michigan job is ravens fans wont have to deal with John harbaugh to Michigan rumors that started up after last years disappointing season since that was his supposed dream job as well

I could very easily see the road team winning every playoff game. #playoffs baby

Which is good for the Ravens, because they won't be playing a home game

Yeah he'll still make the occasional dumb throw but really everybody does except for Aaron Rodgers, seemingly. Overall there's reason for optimism. Still hoping they can snag a RT this offseason. The running game was mostly nonexistent after Jennings' first injury. |
also LOL @ Droford already making predictions on next year. How about wait to see what teams do in the offseason.
If I were to do the same thing I'd look at next year's schedule and think "sweet! playing the NFC South!" but the reality is there's no way the division can be that terrible again. Only 2 things stand out to me about the Giants' schedule really: they're going to be playing in Miami for the first time since 1996 (they played in London last time Miami was the "home" team) and the Pats coming in serves as a reminder that it's going on 8 years since the Pats last beat the Giants. |
2015 Tennessee Titans Opponents
Home Houston, Indianapolis, Jacksonville, Buffalo, Miami, Atlanta, Carolina, Oakland Away Houston, Indianapolis, Jacksonville, New England, NY Jets, New Orleans, Tampa Bay, Cleveland fuck :| |
Cheer up, owenbrown, they should at least beat the lolRaiders!

(Un)Happy Black Monday boys and girls. Place your bets.
We'll start off with the most obvious just coming over the wire, Jets can GM Jon Idzik and coach Rex Ryan. |
Mike Smith is gone in Atlanta.
Bears fire GM Phil Emery. |
Trestman is gone from Chicago too.
|
HOT STOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE
|

Cutler from what I hear is a headcase to work with. I think Trestman can get another gig somewhere, or go back to CFL.

Bills need a QB. And I don't think EJ Manuel is the answer.
|
Somehow Coughlin kept his job but staff changes are coming.
|
Hopefully Quinn and Fewell are gone.
|
Yeah Quinn and Fewell need to go. Frankly it's baffling how bad the special teams have been in recent years. Brown and Weatherford might be one of the best K/P tandems in the league but the coverage teams have just been so bad.
|
|
Quote:
|
Yeah, the Giants won their 2 recent Super Bowls based on a heavy pass rush. Fewell rushes 3 or 4 and drops 7 or 8 constantly. It's infuriating.
No idea if it's in the budget but I really hope the Giants franchise tag JPP to prevent losing him and then hopefully work out an extension. I'm not sure there will be a premiere pass rusher available at #9 but even if there is I'd much rather pair him up with JPP than have him fly solo. JPP, Ayers, Moore, and a rookie? Maybe even throw Kerry Wynn into the mix too. I like that. (sorry Kiwi, you're past your prime) |
Kiwi had a prime?
|
I'd rather the Giants go get a lineman at #9, or linebacker (please)
|
|
Suh is suspended for the Dallas game. If it was anyone else I think they would have gotten benefit of doubt as to whether they knew they were stepping on someone since he was moving backwards..it could have easily been a teammate and he wouldn't have known
|
Was obviously intentional. This is the move they had to make. Suh is a dumbass.

Tom of House Brady redid his contract, freed up $24 million in cap room

Bears fired both GM Phil Emery and coach Marc Trestman
Michigan expected to officially hire Jim Harbaugh tomorrow. |

Feel really sad about Rex Ryan, love him...........
Hope he does really well wherever he coaches... sux though, will feel like an "ex gf" with a new bf or something |
Love Rex Ryan. Hope he "lands on his feet." I was reading yesterday that he could go into TV if he doesn't want to coach next year.
|
I could see Rex in Oakland.
|
Hate Rex Ryan lol
|
He might be able to get a job if he can argue that he was given a shit team to work with cause of the shitty GM. Parcells "cook the meal/buy the groceries" metaphor.
Falcons or Bears. Bears would probably be best for him and a long shot 49ers. Maybe Titans if he can be lured by a good GM like position in control of the top pick. |

Far too much faith in the Cowboys in my first lineup. Might have to change it.

Giants keeping both Tom Coughlin and GM Jerry Reese for next season. Was hinted Coughlin is getting fired if next season ends up just as bad.

I'll put the theory out there and say that new ownership might have something to do with it. |

Just read Marrone asked ownership for an extension to his deal and they declined. That could be one of many factors.
