Yesterday one of the local football teams here scored a goal during their match and celebrated buy doing an "RKO Outta Nowhere".

I don't know about you, but I cringed like a champion at it.

I wonder if this "RKO Outta Nowhere" thing, will be one of those things that just hangs around for around a week or so, before disappearing into obscurity.

WWE news: WWE lies about who was the original Sin Cara to Mexican fans

The WWE continued to use the Sin Cara character even after Alvirde left the WWE. They simply called up the former Hunico, Jorge Arias, from NXT and put the costume on him, pretending that Sin Cara never left. More recently, Sin Cara won the NXT tag team titles. Well, WWE sent Arias as Sin Cara down to Mexico for a press tour and allegedly claimed that this was the “original Sin Cara.”

With all the bad blood between Alvirde and the WWE over the Sin Cara name, it seems strange that the WWE would want to make these claims. It also seems strange that the WWE would simply lie about who is wearing the costume when Mexican wrestling fans, of all people, should know exactly who wore the Sin Cara costume over the years.

Of course, Hunico and Mistico fought, both wearing the Sin Cara costume in the WWE a few years back. However, even at that time, the announcers called Mistico’s Sin Cara the “original Sin Cara.” The fact that they are allegedly calling Hunico the original seems like revisionist history.

This is just another step in the recent controversy surrounding the WWE and their Latino fan base. With the way that they tossed out Sin Cara and then replaced him without a word, it seemed that they considered one Lucha wrestler was as good as any other. There is also the fact that Rey Mysterio has made claims that the WWE is holding him hostage with a forced contract extension and the firing of Alberto Del Rio for standing up to alleged racial insults. This is just another black eye for the WWE if true.

RKO Out of Nowhere made it to @Midnight.

I hope WWE inducts Eric Bischoff into the WWE Hall of Fame.

He hasn't been used in interviews since like 2004 (Rise and Fall of ECW.) Not sure if they have a relationship at this point in any way. Unlikely to happen right now but it could. Vince should do it and induct Ted Turner also if he agrees to appear.

Worst theft of Tyson Kidd since he was screwed out of the NXT title picture.

Saw the Ox Baker death coming when SethReaper82 started posting last week. He has come to send Ox off to the next realm. Rest easy Ox Baker. Thing is I actually knew of Ox Baker in passing through old testaments of wrestling history. I love history, I just know that others on here are more into it and on their feet compared to my reaction

I love he and Dusty got into a brawl in the middle of a ROH show back in the day, "WHAT IS OX BAKER DOING HERE"

Ox Baker might have been the scariest looking wrestler ever. Maybe next to Kamala.
