I've honestly been stuck on Wyatt for some time. The same with Orton really. The other day I was thinking that maybe the best return program for Wyatt would actually be something with Jericho. At Money in the Bank, I'd have whoever wins the Ladder Match win it (probably Ambrose or Owens) and then after the main events we cut to a Bray Wyatt promo from his rocking chair. He talks about a new mission or whatever and at the end of the promo he crosses he legs like Jericho has been doing on top of ladders recently. Jericho responds by getting all panicked and going around backstage asking people if they have seen Bray. He confronts Stephanie and asks if she knows anything about Bray Wyatt coming after him. Steph says she hasn't got a clue and that Bray Wyatt hasn't spoken to her or Hunter for months. Jericho says he's going to call out Bray Wyatt like a man. Jericho heads to the ring (in his scarf, of course), but following him are a team of security guards. Jericho cuts a bit of a promo and then suddenly the lights go out and we get the Bray Wyatt "DA!" package. When the lights come up, all the security guards are wearing sheep masks. Jericho backs off from them and here's Bray with the attack, laying out Jericho with Sister Abigail. "Follow...me..." Jericho vs. Wyatt at Battleground and maybe SummerSlam if the feud catches on with people. It's the best I've got at the moment. |
Apparently Kalisto was meant to be the 7th guy for the MitB ladder match before it got changed to 6 guys instead.

Would have been cool to see him in there. It's a shame that the company has apparently lost so much faith in him. It's not like they really did anything with him during that time he was the US Champion.

How I would book the women's tag at Money in the Bank:
* On the pre-show Paige confronts Charlotte during a promo the champion has requested with Cathy Kelley to talk about how great she is. Paige reminds Charlotte that she has beaten her twice now and wants a shot at the Women's Title. Charlotte says she could never beat her with the belt on the line, and Dana gets in Paige's face. Paige and Dana start fighting and it appears that Dana hurts herself in the scuffle. * Charlotte is told by Stephanie McMahon that Paige has been sent home from the show, but if Dana cannot compete she needs to find a new partner or else she will have to fight Becky & Nattie in a Handicap Match. * Becky & Nattie come out in something resembling matching attire for their match and Charlotte makes her way out. She reveals that her partner is none other than Sasha Banks. * Prior to the match, Banks cuts a promo about how the WWE has forgotten who she is. She's not here to help Charlotte, she's here to remind everyone that she's The Boss. * Sasha & Charlotte work heel for the match, and they isolate either Nattie or Becky. At some point, Charlotte refuses to tag however. Nattie/Becky gets away and tags the other, who cleans house with some suplexes, power moves, etc. * As things break down, Dana Brooke makes her way back out to the ring, revealing that her injury was a scheme in order to get Sasha to do Charlotte's dirty work and give her an extra advantage. Dana tosses Charlotte the Women's Title and distracts the referee. Charlotte lines up Becky for a belt shot, but Sasha pulls it out of her hands. Charlotte shoves Sasha and then gets blasted by her own belt. Sasha gives Becky a "fuck this" look and leaves the ring as Becky covers Charlotte and she and Nattie pick up the win. |

Apparently the WWE have contacted Goldberg, Kurt Angle, Rey Mysterio and Jeff Hardy about potential WWE returns. There has also been talk about John Morrison, Carlito, JTG, Shad Gaspard and Shelton Benjamin being offered returns. None of those truly surprises me. If they're going to bring back Shelton Benjamin though, you might as well bring back Charlie Haas and run the natural World's Greatest Tag Team vs. American Alpha feud.

Can't see what Goldberg would bring. He's old. He was never great in the ring and it's been 12 years since his last go and they didn't exactly do him or the fans any favors.

Think those names have been pulled out of thin air by someone tbh. Think whoever has called those guys has read the news about them calling up older guys and just had a guess. Some could be right but...
Can't see why they would go full 180 on Angle now after ignoring him for so long. JTG has accused the company of racism many times since he left and Crime Tyme was a racist gimmick. Plus, Rey Misterio spent the last two years of his WWE contract perpetually injured too. |

They even fucked up what could have been a great match at WM XX v. I'd have Cesaro win the IC Title from Miz as soon as possible and move into a SummerSlam program with Jericho. The Miz announces that he's going to give an open challenge at the PPV, because he's the biggest blockbuster draw in WWE. Goldberg answers the challenge and basically Spears and Jackhammers Miz. That's all he needs to do.
Miz goes around telling people that it was a fluke Goldberg beat him and that the difference between The Miz and Goldberg is that The Miz has headlined WrestleMania and won. The Miz challenges Goldberg at the September PPV and the weeks heading into it are basically Miz and Maryse skits of Maryse expressing concern for Miz and Miz being deluded and generally thinking he has a chance. Goldberg Spears him and Jackhammers him to win that match too. You then have two wins to Goldberg's name and can see where he fits into things. You might just bring him back for the Royal Rumble or maybe you want someone to write off Jericho. There are ways to use him sporadically and not go overboard with him. |
I feel like Miz is going to lose the IC title on set of Marine 5. I don't mean lose a match but just misplaces it and can't find it, have him do a promo from set like they have been accusing someone of stealing it. When they get back from filming it's revealed that the Social Outcast stole it and want a match. I'd put Slater in the match and actually have him win the match just to give him a short run with the title. Could even use it to split them because they all want to be IC champion.

Just finished watching last night's Raw and these days I've been skipping past things that happen on Raw that don't interest me, but this week I actually noticed that I wasn't watching Raw for that long, so I went back and counted how much time from the show I actually watched.
It turns out that from a 3 hour show, I only watched 13 minutes and 10 seconds of it this week and that 13 minutes and 10 seconds was made up of a skit, one match and half a promo. When I think about it, it's crazy how much my feelings towards WWE content has changed in the space of a year. This time last year, I was watching Raw and PPV's live from beginning to end and it would be unthinkable that I would not watch live or skip past things or even not watch at all, but it's all happened in the space of a year. I've never really felt like this since I began watching religiously way back in the 90's, but at this moment in time, I really couldn't give a damn about the WWE. For me, there's far more negatives than positives when it comes to their product. I'm not saying it's all their fault, as I'm assuming that the majority of the reasons are due to me and my "tastes" changing or whatever. There's just so much going on with the product that I just don't find interesting, be it the wrestlers, storylines or matches. It's a strange feeling. :-\ |
