ahhh great, been putting off listening to that podcast out of laziness in terms of queuing up the match at the same time
Do they have the music at the start of the Austin commentary?
Ryback has been cleared for return and apparently they are trying to come up with ideas to bring him back.
Screw it, I hope he goes face again and ends up being the one to hand Rusev his first legitimate defeat. That would be a lot of fun. Certainly more interesting than Cena making poop jokes and calling Lana a skank for 6 weeks building up to a Mania match. |

I'm no Ryback fan but him coming out in a Stars and Stripes singlet to confront Rusev would be kinda cool. Bonus points if it's staged on a military vessel.

Ryback stopping going in the crowd mid-match to eat a fan's hotdog would be pretty choice right about now
Bring back the feed me more squash machine, build him backup and position him as a top face. Right the wrong done to THE RYBACK.
They have an opportunity to start fresh with Ryback. There's no reason why he shouldn't be the top face in the company.
From reading other boards it seems the IWC has changed their mind about Ryback and I think it has to do with how badly Reigns has done. I know they won't admit it but I think the main gripe with thw IWC was that they had it in their heads that finally size and look means less than workrate with Punk and Bryan, and ole Ryback came along and basically said to the IWC "yeah.....about that". A big man will ALWAYS get pushed ahead of a smaller guy in the WWE if the company notices he is getting over regardless of skill. He got over with a chant, squashing jobbers which didn't sit well with the smarks. |

Regardless of why he got over, he was red fucking hot. And he's not some schlub in the ring. He's better than Reigns.
I think his time with Axel benefitted Ryback. His in ring work has improved a lot during his time. Start by having Rybaxel lose a match. At the end of the match have Axel slap Ryback. Ryback sells the slap by turning around and then Meathook Axel. Quick feud with Ryback kicking Axel's ass and bam, you're off and running. I'd love a face Ryback vs heel Sheamus feud. Hard hitting matches with two big personalities.
Yeah and Santino is working towards a return.

Does RAW use pyro anymore... I know they don't for the opening of the show but do any "superstars" have pyro in their entrances or anything
The Demon Kane, The Usos, Kofi Kingston..... I think they are the only ones who still have pyrotechnics.
Lesnar too when he has a match, but that is only on ppvs |

Stop getting my hopes up for WWE finally getting it right with Ryback, guys. I don't like it.
But he should definitely win the Rumble and go on to take down Lesnar.
Feed him Brock. |
RIP Dr. Ken Ramey
He and The Interns were a fantastic pairing. Ramey was so good at getting heat. the photo looking at it today does look funny. They were a serious heel team in their day. the fans hated them and Ramey. they weren't presented at all in the manner you're thinking of. loads of old wrestling promotional photos look "ghey" nowadays. this one here does for example -they were supposed to be brothers. http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/j...rgosthe1-1.jpg |

It sucks that WWE wasn't willing to let Angle work part-time. The best thing WWE has been doing over the past few years was making good use of their part timers. It's like they know each appearance/match is precious and put decent focus on building them up. Any match with Lesnar brings a big fight feel in part because he's not wrestling every night. They could use more guys like that. Angle would be a perfect "special attraction".
He's a year out of rehab. The other people who were given part-time deals don't have dodgy track records with pills and booze.
Wouldn't that be more of a problem if he signed a full time deal...
