Go Kings

Nice that warriors got a championship.
Lebron is pretty incredible though. |

AI GOT THE MVP WOOOOOOO! That is awesome.
Finals MVP voting ended up going 7-4 in favor of Iggy. Lebron took the other 4 votes.

Iggy was the right call. LeBron was absolutely fucking incredible in this series, but giving the MVP to a player on the losing team just feels wrong.
Imagine if KLove and Kyrie weren't hurt. They would have won each game by 20+
I'm not trying to sound like Skip Bayless...
Lebron was a disappointment last night. He threw a lot of careless passes, and waited too long to become aggressive offensely. Also I thought his defense was poor. |
Fuck Skip Bayless
2015 Finals managed to be the most watched finals since 1998 (Jordan's last Finals) and 2001 (previous post-Jordan era highest record).
In terms of overall numbers, Jordan is still the king when it comes to viewers: Quote:
Wonder who will take a chance on the Aussie guy even though he was kinda of a one (or two) game wonder.
He will be with the Cavs next year. He won't get a big contract because Steph has 2 bad nights. If he would have shut Steph down for almost every game then it would be a different story.
All this Laker talk about trades for Cousins, LaMarcus Aldridge signings, and #2 draft picks have my brain fried.
Honestly hope the Lakers stand still and not trade their youth for Cousins. They made sure to make the right moves for cap space, so use it AND keep the young guns. |
Kings owner considering firing George Karl if he keeps pushing for trading away Demarcus Cousins.
Draft Cameron Payne please Indiana.
Why does Karl hate every star he has?
Lakers fans always feel entitled to every single superstar in the NBA. Leave Boogieman alone. He's our premadonna pain in the ass, draft your own.
Damn, looks like Aldridge is on his way out of Portland. They traded Nicolas Batum to Charlotte for Gerald Henderson and some dude named Vonlen. Batum was one of my favorite players and could really shoot it. Picking 23 tonight I think so hope they can get someone good. Would like to see Harrell go there but I don't know if that will happen.
Fuck the Lakers
lol all of that tanking for Porzingis. gonna bust.
 at the booing for the Knicks pick.
Supposedly the reason the Lakers got cold feet on drafting Okafur was because they didn't think he would have a Hall of Fame like career with the team. |
Knicks taking Porzingis is silly, why not take Mudiay.
Hate seeing international players go I. The top 5 most wait a year before even coming over seas. This is why the East is so bad, horrible drafting.
BUT, BUT, HE'S THE LATVIAN ASSASSIN!
Nah seriously. I was in the boat where they should have just traded the pick and got some good parts. Build for *cough Carmelo cough* the future. |
Jazz took Trey Lyles. Thankfully this draft sucks because this pick makes zero sense.
Tim Hardaway Jr. was a alright player. Why did they dump him?
Like the Knicks getting Grant but giving up Hardaway Jr. is a head scratcher. Feel like his production would be better than Grants. Atlanta got better though.

Probably a strong sign LaMarcus Aldridge is gone from Portland with the Lakers as the big favorite to nab him. |
Yea I hate that, would like to see him stay but with all the movement they are making it doesn't look likely. Portland going to have a whole new team this year almost. Batum leaving hurts them alot I believe.

so sick of Carmelo Anthony

Why is Lebron opting out? He's not leaving the Cavs. No way, right? Is this another power play to get Blatt fired (and hire Thibs)?
I figure he stays for less money but it'd be funny if he goes after one year
He resigns for a tad bit extra money with a opt out next year. Then after that he will sign a bigger contract due to the new cap going into place.
So after he opts out next year he will sign a huge max contract with the Cavs for 5 years or whatever it is.

Was speculated a while ago that he'd probably bolt to Cleveland if he actually opted out or consider them as his first choice. All depends on what Cleveland does and how much of a tax hit they want for next season. Barely have any cap space and just to sign back most of their Finals team would get them close to the luxury tax and cap records. |
Big names opting out. Phil Jackson can redeem himself if he lands a star player.
If I was a big time star I would avoid NY like the plague.
