Well yeah... but I don't think he's trying to not make them look good. He's not burying them in the ring because he can, thats just how they want it. He's a company guy, he's a Bret Hart in that he'll do just about anything they want.

They day they decide to put Cena on a 0-10 losing streak to put over FCW wreslter X... he'll do it with bells and whistles.

I agree. Cena's not about ego, pretty sure.

Lock Jaw 01-03-2011 09:05 PM

That guy always does pretty good stuff. Above and beyond other people's mashups (like just plopping the two songs together and fading them up and down).

lol at inserting CM Punk chants in the middle of that song.

Shisen Kopf 01-03-2011 09:21 PM

I liked the ding dongs and the johnsons. Also Lenny and Lodi were pretty mother clucking bitchin

Ruien 01-03-2011 09:56 PM

John Cena is still fairly young, therefore he still needs to be huge. He is the Stone Cold of this era and will be around for a very long time. Triple H on the other hand is getting old and needs to start putting people over (Which he has been doing more of to a HHH degree).

TheAdamEvansFan 01-03-2011 10:05 PM

John Cena is The Rock of this Era. (Peoples Champ, Movie Star, etc.. Still lacks the famous heel role tho)
Randy Orton is Stone Cold of this Era. (DTA, Edgy, Stunner/Rko, Took out the McMahons)

Juan 01-03-2011 10:11 PM

No more shitty threads by TheAdamEvansFan. At least for a day anyway

Shisen Kopf 01-03-2011 10:14 PM

John Cena isnt the rock of this generation unless you mean the Rock don muraco. why is that you ax? Bc bofum wore purple and were all about the awesomeness of the MIDDLE TURNBUCKLE.

DLVH84 01-03-2011 10:42 PM

The Road Warriors
The Hellraisers
The Hell Warriors

loopydate 01-03-2011 10:49 PM

What, not the Road Raisers?

The One 01-03-2011 10:55 PM

New Age Outlaws - by far the team I marked out for more than any other. When I think of the Attitude Era, those two are the guys who spring to my mind more than any others. For whatever reason, perhaps the age I was at or the general tone of the product at the time, but they were the perfect team for me. And if you're not down with that...

In a very distant #2 and #3 I guess I'd go with Tully/Arn and the Outsiders. Obvious I was an insane Horseman fan and let's face it, the Outsiders were just plan Too Sweeeeeeet!

Nicky Fives 01-03-2011 10:58 PM

The New Age Outlaws - incredibly over when I was a kid
The Outsiders - Scott Hall is one of my favourites of all-time
Edge & Christian - 2 Canadians that are awesome.....

I didn't know Darth Vader was a fan of 12 Stones.

DaveBrawl 01-03-2011 11:17 PM

1. Road Warriors
2. Hart Foundation
3. Jersey Triad - didn't last long, but I was a big fan of DDP and Kanyon

loopydate 01-03-2011 11:20 PM

Edge & Christian
New Age Outlaws (pre: first title run before they cut the same promo every week)
The Eliminators (mostly for their finisher and Saturn's insane high spots)

Providence Peep 01-03-2011 11:24 PM

1. The Moondogs, Rex and Spot
2. The Conquistadors, Jose Estrada and Jose Luis Rivera
3. The Black Knight and Red Knight, Barry Horowitz and Steve Lombardi

:shifty:

ooTin 01-03-2011 11:26 PM

The New Age Outlaws
Rock and Sock Connection
Kane and Undertaker
Cactus Jack and Terry Funk
The Headbangers- not sure why I just enjoyed them....
Team Canada
MCMG

Jura 01-03-2011 11:29 PM

Seriously though, LOD (Hawk and Animal), and Harlem Heat. Honorable mentions Faces of Fear and Kronik (I know they werent together long but they were one of the few reasons I still watched late WCW)

Yeah, I definitely liked Kronik. They were better than APA. Although their gimmick was similar, Kronik surpassed them in ability by not only brawling, they can wrestle, fly, etc. Kronik was faster, agile, and smokin'.

Oh yeah, there's no Road Raisers.

Rollermacka 01-04-2011 12:53 AM

I forgot Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff. Great tag team, could have been even bigger if Sheik could have controlled his problems. I think they could have dominated the tag team scene throughout the late 80s early 90s

VSG 01-04-2011 01:17 AM

You are a newbie so I don't blame you. Yet.

Rammsteinmad 01-04-2011 01:30 AM

Dunno if I really have one favourite, but just gonna throw Harlem Heat in there.

SUCKAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Executioner 01-04-2011 01:31 AM

Top 5 (not in order)

Midnight Express (Lane and Eaton)
Minnesoda Wrecking Crew (Ole and Arn)
Brainbusters
Road Warriors
Beer Money

That doesn't explain it. Nothing remarkable in there.

The start of CM Punk and Jeff Hardy's feud. The infamous "just say no"/strikes promo.

James Steele 01-04-2011 03:12 AM

Triple H hasn't been on TV since April, but still bitching about him?

Brigstocke 01-04-2011 03:15 AM

HHHe's such a bastard and marks hate him Steele, and wooo wooo wooo you know it.

Shadrick 01-04-2011 03:18 AM

Cena would put guys over if they booked him that way. He's a company guy.

Triple H does nothing but help OTHER guys look good at this stage of his career.

James Steele 01-04-2011 04:41 AM

Shadrick is in the lead for the 2011 JamesSteele Poster of the Year Award.

Tazz Dan 01-04-2011 05:18 AM

The New Age Outlaws
Edge & Christian
The Road Warriors

Honourable mentions: The Outsiders, The Hart Foundation, The British Bulldogs, and The Rockers.

chrisat928 01-04-2011 05:21 AM
