And I do think she should still be in NXT.

But yeah it's hard to believe looking back at that ppv, Gallows being Fake Kane, Dolph Ziggler was still a member of the spirit squad, I also believe it was Kurt Angles last WWE PPV Match as well in a losing effort to Randy Orton. Seeing a 2 out of 3 falls match between Mick Foley and Ric Flair actually ending to 2 falls, not to mention one of the wrestlers on the card is now deceased in UMAGA. In fact looking back at it. Randy Orton, Triple H, John Cena and Dolph Ziggler are the only people featured on the card who still actually wrestle in WWE now. |
Forgot to two aforementioned Kanes as well
I thought face Sheamus was very likeable and would be a much better choice for face of the company than Reigns.
I know I'm in the minority here... but I'm a sucker for the "badass with a sense of humor" character. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/A8-2YPu9ACc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> I mean, he wasn't all that funny or anything. But it's wrestling. I didn't judge him on his comedy the same way I thought rapper Cena was awesome regardless of how legitimately good he was as a rapper. Face Sheamus could have worked. I don't know. |
On a side note... Jesus Christ, Roman Reigns is boring.
Well look sir we don't care much for funny accents here in 'Merica.

It's a very petty and paranoid way to conduct business and frankly dumb. This is why you see so many missteps in wwe. They have lots of people who just view it as a job and don't have much of a passion to see the company succeed. But what else would you expect from a guy who hates people if they sneeze in his presence? |
TOP STORY: CAN NIKKY RECLAIM HIS PRIZE?
"The King of Clubs" Nikky Chance has a golden opportunity this Saturday as he will finally get his 1-on-1 shot against the CHW Interstate Champion, Robb Banks. But this isn't going to be Nikky's 1st shot at this title. In fact, it seems that he's had his sights set on this belt ever since he walked into the doors of Crazy Hardcore Wrestling back in 2014. Robb Banks was ironically one of the heads he stepped on en route to challenging Matt Rage back in Season 5. Though unsuccessful, Nikky Chance carried on with his mission and captured the prestigious title at the beginning of Season 6 by vanquishing Robb Banks, Scythe and Xacutor in a Table 4-Way Match. After over 100 days, Nikky lost the belt (and his hair) to Swede Savard. Since that time, Nikky has been keeping himself busy, engaging in an intense rivalry with Ric "The Mic" Roberts. Now that a new champion has emerged, "The King of Clubs" has refocused on the CHW Interstate Title. He was mere inches away from stopping Robb Banks in the 5-Way Scramble Match and literally had the belt slip through his fingers in Balls To The Wall. This Saturday, there will be nowhere to run as CHW Management has signed a 1-on-1 match between these two hungry competitors. Will Robb Bank's inconceivable winning streak carry on? Or will history be made as the 1st ever 2-time Interstate Champion be crowned? Be sure to tune in to find out! In that interview, Paul London tells a pretty funny story about Billy Kidman being upset he used the shooting star press off Kendrick's back, and Ted DiBiase, Sr. disrespecting them to MNM leading to London needing to control Spanky's temper.

In my opinion, Regal wasn't nearly as good on the mic in WCW as he was in the WWF. Plus Regal had a lot of personal problems during his WCW run. He wasn't very reliable.
You are what you eat. Regal was given shit sandwiches in WCW. Saw Lesser guys like Johhny B. Badd advance as US Champion.

Johnny B. Badd was never U.S. Champion :wtf:

Great promo. Triple H beat the fuck out of him though.

Speaking of, I loved his commentary on NXT. He would always allude to his wife and make her sound like some sickly old hag.

Sasha Banks rumored to have suffered a head injury during a house show last week according to the sheets.
Mostly has been doing house show stuff after getting pulled off of tv a while ago because of some long term plans the WWE has for her and Charlotte this summer. Depending on how serious the injury is, WWE might have to shelve those plans. http://411mania.com/wrestling/sasha-...tedly-injured/ |

Also, the last time Sasha was off tv for a bit the rumor was an injury and that turned out to be false so I'm gonna not believe it for now.

Hope you take a bad hit of acid for suggesting such a thing :|

So I watched the debut of The Shining Stars.
They're just pretty much the same as they were before they were Los Matadores, but they have a tag team name this time, no Rosa and more up to date music, which I actually like. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/PYgprWU0TDY" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> |
I'm not complaining though as I've always liked Primo & Epico.

Due to my nine month absence from wrestling, I've only just found out that Raw will be taped in Glasgow in November.
I checked tickets but Raw is sold out. Pretty gutted. The silver lining I guess is that SmackDown still has tickets available, but all that are really left are the "cheap seats" way at the back and top of the arena. |

Nash really making the most salient point on Bret Hart I've heard. Funny how Hall seems to hate Bret and Nash fucking loves him. |
Great timeline btw
Nash's shoots are kind of inconsistent. He seems to have heat with different guys during different interviews and his opinions on people is always changing. He's still the best shoot interview out there. Scott Hall is great to listen to as well in that he's knowledgable on in ring stuff and passionate about wrestling, but he tells the same kliq stories all the fucking time, but probably due to brain damage etc.
Summary on this page: I love William Regal and Becky Lynch.
Lol, Ryback is teasing Ryborg in the Impact Zone on his Twitter feed.
If they can get Ryborg and Cody Rhodes, they could be laughing with that new ownership.
Oh, and Aaron Sandow. Hire Rich Bocchini to replace Josh Mathews on commentary. And have Stu Barrett jump the railing and start laying guys out. He says he's bringing a friend over in a few weeks. Dave Bautista shows up with Barrett. They announce they will take on three TNA stars at the next PPV, but they won't reveal who their third man is going to be. During the match, TNA World Champion Drew Galloway hits the ring to defend the company he loves so much. But he turns on EC3, James Storm and Jeff Hardy beating the piss out of them and helping Bautista and Barrett pick up the win.
A few weeks later, Elijah Burke gets off commentary and says he's been misused by this company. He's a legit bad-ass and a movie star and he's now in the group. Maybe have Rockstar Spud join as their little twerp friend that takes the heat for them. Watch the money roll in with that completely original idea. You can call them "Gen-Pop." Ryborg debuts and starts squashing jobbers and starts an undefeated streak that goes on for years. Cody Rhodes cuts some promos about how this is the place to be and now that the shackles are off, you're going to see what he is truly capable of. He enters the X-Division and beats Trevor Lee for the title, who then moves into a program with G.S. Helms, who is pissed off that Lee couldn't get the job done against Rhodes. TNA signs Chris Hero to come in and wrestle Cody Rhodes in a classic series of matches over the X-Division Title, because they need something in there. The Hardys re-unite to fight against the evil Gen-Pop stable. |
I would watch TMA if Ryback showed up
TMA would be a better name for them actually. I feel like they need to change something about the packaging there.
I'll be honest, I'd watch out of curiosity. They should bring in Dutch as the booker again and beg Kurt Angle to do some guest appearances to put over their next major stars.
TNA was such a dumb acronym for a wrestling company in the first place. Made them seem like they were trying way too hard to be edgy.
Quote:
How would you rename it? Something Championship Wrestling? Something Wrestling Federation? Blank Wrestling Alliance? Some sort of cool acronym?
Quote:
Hell, NWA: Impact would have been fine with me. |
They seem to colloquially refer to the whole company as "Impact Wrestling" which honestly sounds way better to me than TNA anyway.
NWA: Impact would have worked, but I do think that they could have used the contemporary move away from the NWA association at some point. Maybe they can call it the Impact Wrestling Federation or something. Fairly certain there is an IWF though.
IWF is: International Weightlifting Federation apparently
Vince's secret project after the WBF failed.
Ha.
I'm going through the TNA roster. Man they could use some refocus on their tag team division.
Cody Rhodes & Aaron Sandow as your TNA World Tag Team Champions.
Cody and Sandow teaming again would be fascinating to me. Not just because they've teamed before and were good but also because both are in the same boat of possibly going into acting and such. They could get involved in side projects that extend beyond just wrestling.
I've always thought them rejoining the NWA and changing to Non-stop Wrestling Action would be best. Impact Wrestlings probably the easiest one to do. Impact Championship Wrestling ICW, Impact Wrestling Championship IWC, World Impact Wrestling WIW. I don't know but I think ROH buying them would be best.

If I got the impression that TNA was providing guys with a steady living that would be enough of a reason to keep in afloat even if the product was bad. But given that they are still having trouble paying talent and can't even stay on TV I really just wish it would either close or be absorbed by another company.
Oddly enough I would pay for an Impact Wrestling Network type of deal where they put all of their old PPV events up. I probably wouldn't pay for long but there are definitely a few shows I wouldn't mind revisiting.
