Well good. Because I plan on bringing it up often. Letting people know you have something awesome but don't wanna show them is just begging for prodding. Like the High School freshman who actively wants everyone to know he's banging a 21 year old supermodel but he doesn't feel like showing her to his friends and swears he doesn't care if they actually believe him. That kid deserves mockery for even bringing it up in the first place.

Dude, I have backed up EVERYTHING I have claimed over the last few months. To me, the fact I'm denying yourself something because you doubted me and you getting so upset about it amuses me. And I'm having fun with it. Like, you can say that it's not upsetting you, and you don't care, but the fact you bring it up all the time says otherwise.

So maybe one day when you let it go, I'll post it. But until then, I'll keep it to myself, and some of my Facebook friends who also post here.

#1-norm-fan 09-25-2014 02:12 AM

I bring it up in a lighthearted manner constantly because it's funny and ripe for parody.

... And you whine like a baby every time.

Case in point, this very page.

You're entirely too defensive on this subject for someone who doesn't care if they're believed or not.

Tazz Dan 09-25-2014 02:25 AM

I'm not whiney or defensive, your own posts otherwise show that you're being so yourself. I just don't see your point in bringing it up often. And obviously the whole banning thing was a joke, so don't try and use that as anything.

Shadrick 09-25-2014 02:27 AM

My cocks been exposed for the last 25 posts. Is anyone gonna at least tug on it? Shit.

#1-norm-fan 09-25-2014 02:34 AM

I bring it up because it was a comment ripe for making fun of. Same reason tons of others made jokes about it until you got pissy about it.

Tazz Dan, you should post that personal video you have of Vince McMahon to show kingofdawswing just how much serious business you mean.

I'm guessing you see me as the defensive/whiney one here? Welp... I don't know what else to tell you.

I think kingofdaswing at least makes a valid point once in a while... If Street Jimmy were around today he'd be telling us how WWE needs to sign Adam Cole and have him beat Brock for the title.

The biggest problem with WGN (and any non-Spike network) is the amount of scaling down and drastic changes TNA would need to do because of the way lower fees. Think Meltzer from the Observer hinted even with a new network, TNA probably still will collapse in the near future.

Also likely run the risk of shows getting pre-empted or delayed whenever the Bulls/White Sox/Bulls are playing since no way WGN would favor TNA over them.

They've already had to scale down. It was a bit foolish giving up a "home" with starry eyed dreams of competing against WWE this early in their existance... and make no bones about it, TNA is still a far younger company than their "rival"... so that isn't much of an issue. And getting pre-empted in favor of Chicago sports teams is better than having zero TV exposure at all. Also, remember WWE used to be pre-empted for The Westminster Dog Show and tennis tourneys way before they were the juggernaut they are now.

However, that thing about "growing slowly" is the key. TNA already burned up a lot of currency in trying to become red-hot overnight multiple times, repeatedly hitting the reset button like so much late era WCW, and hotshot new talent out of nowhere. Now that they are more on the right track, but that is more from neccessity, and it might prove to be too little too late letting such sins compound on them.

I hope I'm wrong about this, though. No matter what happens, I hope they end up remaining on TV. I hope they get their poop in a group and eventually gain a foothold as a stable and viable alternative for guys and gals to work for, especially when they can pick up misused guys WWE threw away like EC3 and allow him to come into his own instead of burying him (as in keeping him down in the doldrums away from public consumption, not as in intentionally kill his career) down the card. TNA is a bit like the new ECW in that they are the new "island of misfit toys", and guys who otherwise may not have gotten a chance to shine, such as A Double, Bobby Roode, or Samoa Joe, or guys pushed out the picture like Kurt Angle or Ken Kennedy, can continue to get a chance to shine when WWE doesn't "see it" or "has nothing for" them.

lol the Miz TV segment from Main Event is fantastic. Sandow's taking this gimmick to a whole new level and we also find out how Dean Ambrose escaped from the room on Raw

Nailed it!

XL 09-25-2014 01:22 PM

One little annoyance;

Raw results from the front page always start with the line "Yes, sir, we promise you a great Main Event..." dispite WWE not using that ident for ages.

According to The Wrestling Observer, Steve Austin is expected to return to WWE television in some form soon. WWE has told their distributors to go into heavy production on Austin merchandising, which would be standard for someone who is making a return of some sort, even if it’s for a quick one-off. Appearances on TV often lead to renewed demand for merchandise.

As previously reported, WWE has worked out a deal with Austin where they promote his podcast and he plugs the WWE Network.

Vince McMahon has reportedly had a rule that nobody from the WWE Total Divas cast can hold the Divas Title. It's said that this is one of those rules that can change tomorrow.

On a related note, there has been booking frustration regarding Total Divas. Vince reportedly goes through phases where he wants the RAW storylines to sync with Total Divas. However, Total Divas is taped so far in advance and there are communication issues as to what content airs when and it's not always possible to have everything on the same page.

At the same time, it's said that there are times when Vince doesn't see the issue as being that important.
Only got found out because Brie Bella accidentally revealed it during a recent interview.

Based on what was taped at last week's TNA Impact Wrestling tapings, the November 26th, December 3rd, December 10th and December 17th episodes could end up being "Best Of" shows or compilation shows with little, if any, new content.

Some other news and speculations included:
* The final RAW script being scrapped around an hour before the show and being rewritten as the show went on.
* If TNA gets picked up by WGN, early losses would include 25% less households for potential viewers compared to Spike and most of the major wrestling cities (most don't or barely get WGN).

So who the hell is facing Lesnar then?

The HIAC used as a consolation match? Not sure they can lessen the importance of the cell any more than that. What a shame.

Ambrose vs. Rollins blood feud will be awesome. The very first HIAC was HBK vs. Undertaker with just the #1 Contendership on the line. But yeah, the Orton vs. Cena in a cell will get booed the fuck out of the building if it happens... again. Cena vs. Rollins may get booed too if it is a really smarky crowd.

Jura 09-25-2014 07:07 PM

I don't think Lesnar is scheduled for the next PPV.

Oh I have no doubt that ambrose vs rollins is worthy of the cell, but I feel like even having 2 cell matches on a PPV hurts it.

I don't think it should even be a PPV.
