Question: Whenever I'm playing a multi player game, I'll be playing, then my game will lag for about 10 seconds, drop me out of teh game saying "Server disconnected" then reconnect me back to the same game. I lose all my kills and deaths. It's been happening once every game.

Why is that? Anyone know?

I dont have dial up. I got comcast. And yes, high speed connection.

I do have a laptop though....with Windows Vista.....thats probably it.

And this never happened on COD4....

It's probably impossible on anything other then cheap computer games.

I was playing on Terminal, having a beast match, think I had 20+ Kills and a couple deaths, this happened, I lost my kill death came back walked into two grenades and the match ended.

This is known as Lag or formally "The Devil"

This happens every game though.....is my connection just horrible then

If it happens EVERY game, ensure your ethernet cables and your modem are all connected, if that doesnt work try resetting your system and joining a new match.

As far as I know what causes lag is the internet traffic of the host (Player who is designated as such) and it really is a HUGE fucking buzzkill, you are ripping through a map and just about to win and BAM! There goes everything.

Also, when joining a match, spectate for a few seconds to make sure its not laggy as all get out.

Most you can do is grin and bear it most of the time bud, I started my session today at 50-35 and am now 65-61 because of server disconnects and when it does work I have been posting horrible matches (some great but alot horrible)

Happened to me earlier in my best ever performance in a Team Deathmatch. The host died 17 seconds before the end, didn't even attempt to migrate to a new host. :(

I love when it disconnects when your opponent is like 7000-7400 and you have no hope of winning because it then counts as two losses...

Also, had an amazing match earlier on Favela got 29-3-1 ;)

I dont care that much about stats as made obvious by my meh K/D Ratio, I like having a 1:1 record and you have to fight fucking hard for wins sometimes and then to lose that + rating because of this bullshit is rather annoying.
