As clean as you can get with Hogan. He hit him with Woman's shoe spike and pinned him 123.

So Jericho lied that the last time he jumped off a cage was at an Indy show in Canada back in the early 90s?

I haven't done this since an indie show near #Calgary in 1993. Guess I was just waiting for the right time to bust it out again... What's that? I'm 43 now? NO WAY!!!! #thatshowyadoitkids #baltimorerocks #y2jisbackbaby #wweraw

It's not going to amount to anything for anyone involved.

Lock Jaw 09-09-2014 09:29 PM

The bunny's hands are visible, and they are not of a black man, so it would be weird if they reveal Darren Young.

Emperor Smeat 09-09-2014 09:35 PM

WWE's just going to ignore that as well as the bunny randomly growing and shrinking every so often.

Ultra Mantis 09-09-2014 09:39 PM

Darren Young can't do super kicks, the bunny is obviously The Young Bucks.

Yeah I read this just now on a few sites. Although, some are saying he was 43 and some were saying he's 38. R.I.P if it's true. Loved O'Haire back in the day. :(

rob11 09-09-2014 10:31 PM

His promos were some of my favorite. Juan posted a new thread so I guess it's true.

RIP Sean O'Haire.

I really liked his tag team in the latter days of WCW with Chuck Palumbo.

these Devils Advocate vignettes were great too.

I much preferred his team with Mark Jindrak

Lock Jaw 09-09-2014 11:08 PM

Yeah, loved Jindrak and O'Haire.

Their debut on Nitro was fucking bad ass. They got a jobber entrance and totally destroyed I believe Rey and Kidman.

The Ascension had a match on the main event of this same Main Event taping (heh) and squashed Los Matadores to promote Takeover 2.

"What I would label myself? You know you always go back to where you started. I don't think you can label Sting as a TNA guy. He's a WCW guy and even Sting in WWE now will always be remembered as a WCW guy. So I can't say I'm a TNA guy obviously. WWE is where I started and Vince McMahon made me who I am and gave me the opportunity but I've had a better career in TNA. Now a lot of WWE fans might not believe that or they may have never seen me wrestle in TNA but the matches I've had in TNA were actually better than the matches I had in WWE. That's a hard thing to say, but the matches I've had with Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, and the different matches with different wrestlers like Sting, Jeff Jarrett, Desmond Wolf, Mr. Anderson, and Bobby Roode. I would say I was probably more consistent in TNA although I was always known to have the best matches and be a very consistent wrestler in WWE. I think it's because the older I got the more I improved, the more I mastered the craft, the more I was able to let myself do what I do and have more confidence. The reason the second part of my career was better than the first was because of that."

After re-watching the main event triple threat match from Wrestlemania 30, I couldn't help but see the similarities between it and the main event triple threat match from Wrestlemania XX. Most notably, the table spot and the sequence towards the end of the match.

The New York Post has an article today stating that Vince McMahon has not completely shut down the idea of the WWE Network being a premium cable TV network channel like HBO. According to the story, McMahon is keeping tabs on how their partnership with Rogers Communications in Canada performs, where the Network has been available as a premium channel for $11.99 / month since August 12th. The subscription price is split between the partners, with the Post noting that WWE could be taking in 60% of the cut ... The article noted that if WWE were to become a premium channel, the streaming service would most likely still be available.

WWE was happy with the Jerry Springer angle on last night's RAW. They do realize that it was a mess at the end, but everyone had a good time and were laughing backstage afterwards. The McMahons have a close relationship with Jerry Springer, with Jerry's show being taped out of the Stamford Media Center in Stamford, CT, where WWE is based out of. There has been talk of bringing Jerry back to do guest commentary for an eventual Brie Bella vs. Nikki Bella match.

Regarding Batista’s status, Marvel Studios are currently restructuring his contract that will likely see him get more money due to the success of Guardians of the Galaxy. This will also lock Batista in for a number of other Marvel movies. Batista is slated for Guardians of the Galaxy 2 as well as the 3rd Avengers movie, where he will have a significant role. That movie will be a few years down the road as the 2nd Avengers movie isn’t scheduled to be released until May 2015.

Batista’s people in Hollywood reportedly do not want him involved in pro wrestling. They feel that he didn’t get what he was promised and feel that WWE dropped the ball by not letting him use some of his own ideas to get himself over. Batista has expressed some of these same frustrations but it’s said that he does want to return. The two sides are in talks but WWE will be coming second to his movie career.

Rest is from a recent NXT Takeover hype interview Triple H had with the Observer and a few other major "dirtsheet" sites.

He said that in this case, it was done to promote four talents for Thursday’s show. He said that anything new will feel fresh, but he also doesn’t think that anyone would watch them and think they are developmental. He said now it’s just a matter of bringing them up in the manner that they want to bring them up.

He said sure, it’s a petri dish in NXT and they try things there and then bring them up to WWE to see if they will work. He said what works in front of 600 fans is often different than what works at Madison Square Garden. He also pointed out that the people working production down in NXT are the people they hope to have doing it years from now.

He said absolutely. He wants NXT to be a brand as soon as possible. He wants to grow it to the point where he can take it on the road. He said it will continue to grow. He mentioned that guys on Smackdown and Raw are still learning so NXT guys can grow and learn at the same time. He wants to grow the talent to the point where Vince says he wants people on Raw and he has to fight to keep them in NXT. He said he wants to get there the right way, it’s not a sprint it’s a marathon. He said it you have watched the growth since the first special, you see it.

I just remembered that last night when my Undertaker T-Shirt caught the attention of someone at the bar I was at, that during our conversation, he told me that Paul London & Brian Kendrick will be coming here next month. I checked it out and Leah Von Dutch will also be coming along.

I'm not too familiar with LVD, but I would love to see London & Kendrick, so I'll need to hunt out a friend or more who would be up for going with me.
