Sports Nation poll says 49% of the people who took the poll, think the Colts are not Superbowl contenders.

That's a lot of retards

RP 10-04-2010 04:47 PM

need i remind everyone that the Colts were a lot worse off 2 years ago and started 3-4 only to reel off 9 straight.

Need i remind people that have PEYTON FUCKING MANNING? The best QB in the league, by far.

IC Champion 10-04-2010 05:54 PM

I'm sure Mr Brady and his three super bowl rings have something to say about that.

They're 2-2, with a loss in the division to the Texans who are 3-1. The Titans are also 2-2 but wildly inconsistent. There's a solid shot they might not even make the playoffs *GASP SHOCK HORROR*

Look at it this way, at least 1 wild card in the AFC is definitely coming out of the AFC East between Miami/New England/NY Jets, possibly even both of them. The AFC North has a strong shot at the other Wild Card between Pittsburgh and Baltimore, whoever doesn't win the division. So the Colts would have to likely win the division, which they are already at a slight disadvantage for given they lost to the Texans.

SammyG 10-04-2010 08:33 PM

Rams will make the playoffs this year

And you could add that the superbowl loser of the prior year has a history of doing bad the following year.

McLegend 10-04-2010 09:43 PM

They are 2-2 with 2 losses in their divison.

RP 10-04-2010 10:03 PM

You guys are dumb. I cant wait til the Colts win the division this year and then go on to win the Superbowl. I'm gunna be laughing at you fags so hard.

RP 10-04-2010 10:04 PM

Buffalo apparently has traded Marshawn Lynch to the Seahawks. No idea what the return for the Bills is though.

Melvin Bullitt, the safety who replaced Bob Sanders, is out for the season.

4th and a 5th rounder

Droford 10-05-2010 08:11 PM

So the Seahawks have Marshawn Lynch, Leon Washington, Justin Forsett..at least they dropped Julius Jones.

Droford 10-05-2010 08:14 PM

oh yea, Randy Moss might be going back to the Vikings.

SammyG 10-05-2010 08:39 PM

That'd be nuts.

"What's that?" you ask.

That's the sound of Big Ben coming for you. Hide your kids. Hide your wives.

"DTF? Yeah, I'm down to fuck... all your playoff aspirations."

Is all not well within the Brady Bunch? What brought on this discussion?

Droford 10-05-2010 09:24 PM

He didnt have any catches last night.

Shocker

Miami focused their coverage on him for most of the game or before it became a blowout similar to New England focusing their D on Marshall.

The 41-14 score is a little deceptive since the defense and special teams contributed a lot to the scoring than just Brady and the offense.

Steelers are 3-1 without Big Ben...I'd like to see the Saints or Colts without their big QB's for 4 games, and see how THEY do.

Steelers all the way, baby.

I still think they'll win the AFC South and Houston will be a wildcard.

Considering their division is fucking awful, I'd say that's a fair bet. Bradford will lead them to the NFC Title game and they'll lose though.

Joey Slugs 10-06-2010 11:48 AM

Chris Carter needs to lay off the pipe. He was just on SC talking about how the Vikings are now the NFL's Miami Heat and will be unstoppable now.

lol, have you seen the vikings or randy moss play this year? be serious. Bret Favre is breaking down, and likely won't last the season.

:rofl::rofl:

Earth to Chris Carter, the Detroit Lions are more like the Heat than the Vikings.

This sounds suspiciously like you are putting Roethlisberger on the same level as Manning and Brees.
