Neither did Brad Johnson. :(

Joey Slugs 12-20-2006 01:31 AM

Bears got 7 guys in. :y:

AlphaBean 12-20-2006 02:46 AM

Tommie won't be going. Hopefully Pat gets in instead of Robbins in that event.

RP 12-20-2006 08:53 AM

Yah, like i said. I cant tell you how the Colts will beat the Chargers.

Here's the thing about the run defense. They dont struggle as much against power runners. Hence why the Bengals ran all night and got nowhere with it. They struggle with the quick slashing cut back types. Which is why i think they can beat Baltimore. Its not like they havent seen that defense before. And Steve Mcnair is being way too overhyped right now. Jamal Lewis wont hurt us that much. He might get a hundy, but thats it.

I dont know how, but i think its the year. And i dont think they're 16-0 again whoever said that. I'm just repping my team. Eat my shit.

Rivers getting in over Brady was rediculous. Rivers hasnt been good enough to justify that.

I think Robbins should definitely go in that situation, I think Robbins is having a better season, bearing in mind I haven't seen one Vikings game this year.

Hell, now that I have looked at the stats Robbins should be going ahead of any of those guys that actually got it. Better statistics (although stats can lie), but let me say he has been involved in many plays where he didn't chalk up any stats.

Wow, a Giants fan saying a Giant should be in the Pro Bowl, and a Vikings fan arguing that a Viking should go.

The fact is, Pat is a Nose Tackle. They don't get sacks or interceptions or anything, they just destroy the middle of the opposing team's OL. That's what Pat does. We're giving up under 60 yards per game rushing. That's Pat Williams. He's been one of the best tackles in the league for years and never gets props, because of "stats."

What "stats" do Offensive Linemen get? It's the same thing.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 12-20-2006 04:14 PM

Vince Wilfork

I don't care if he plays in the AFC

You basically just said what I already did...

I'm not taking away from anyone here, all I was saying was that Robbins does deserve to go because he has played well whether it shows up on the stat sheet or not. Like I said I haven't seen one Vikings game, but I'm well aware of the type of player Pat Williams is.

Nah, Cato June would make it in the NFC before Wilfork.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 12-21-2006 04:45 PM

I didn't realize JP Losman was having such a good year until I checked out some stats. He is right up there in all the major QB statistical categories with all the other good AFC QB's

AlphaBean 12-21-2006 09:44 PM

He's #1 in the NFL in the pedophile mustache category.

Team Sheep 12-22-2006 07:08 PM

Who cares. It's the Probowl...

RP 12-23-2006 02:50 AM

JP Losman has been rather average to me. I guess average would be spectacular to a Bills fan right now.

Cooler Tom Schuler 12-24-2006 02:55 PM

I can't believe Green Bay is still in playoff contention. Unlikely, but possible.

Quote:

How can the Packers get into the playoffs? There are various ways, but the most likely scenario is for all of the following to happen between now and Dec. 31:

--The Packers beat the Bears to finish 8-8;
--The Giants lose twice, to the Saints and Redskins, to finish 7-9;
--The Falcons (7-7) lose once, either to the Panthers or Eagles, to finish 8-8, but behind Green Bay in conference record (7-5 to 6-6);
--The Rams (6-8) lose once, either to the Redskins or Vikings, to finish 7-9; and
--The Seahawks (8-6) either win once OR the 49ers (6-8) lose once, so that Seattle wins the NFC West and is not in the Wild Card picture.
http://packers.com/news/stories/2006/12/22/1/

Hopefully the Bears won't bring everything to the table on week 17...

Also I'm calling for the head of Tom Coughlin.

GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG MEN

What a horrible team.

Triple A 12-24-2006 03:55 PM

Pats are beating the Jaguars right now 24-21 with 3 mins left.

If they win, the Jets control their playoff destiny since Denver/Cincy play each other. COME ON WHOOOO

Mr. Monday Morning 12-24-2006 03:58 PM

Have to admit I am rooting for the 49ers right now

RP 12-24-2006 04:00 PM

Niceeee we get to go on the road in the playoffs, if we even make it that far. If Ron Dayne can run on us, anyone can run on us.

RP 12-24-2006 04:00 PM

I'm pretty sure i could run for 100 yards and 2 td's on the Colts defense.

RP 12-24-2006 04:01 PM

I'm pretty sure Demeco Ryans is a beast too. Man, there defense will be amazing in 2 years.

Nervous Ferret 12-24-2006 04:02 PM

god just realized none of the 7-8 teams play each other nexst week, so a 7-9 team still might go to the playoffs :(

Triple A 12-24-2006 04:05 PM

Yessssss Pats beat the Jags.

If the Jets beat the Dolphins tomorrow and the Raiders next week, they are in. This is amazing.

YEAHHHHHHHHHHHH

DrA 12-24-2006 05:43 PM

This has been the worst NFC year I have ever seen, just dreadful.

However, this has been one of the best years I've seen for the AFC, mainly because the Tennesee Titans might be my favorite team besides the Cowboys.

All in all, I hope there is some more stability next year in the NFL. I don't like this "four teams that are 8-8 are going to the playoffs" nonsense.

Although it does make for some entertaining football next week New Year's Eve.

Mr. Monday Morning 12-24-2006 06:12 PM

Be interesting to see what some of these teams do in the offseason. Might be quite a few big names getting moved around.

Triple A 12-24-2006 08:18 PM

If the Bengals miss the playoffs that is pretty fucked up. I feel like they are capable of beating any team in the league, really. Shame.

OssMan 12-24-2006 10:33 PM

bengals ending was stupid, maybe i wouldnt hate the broncos so much if the fans didnt do their chant after every incomplete pass? do they chant that when their team is getting blown out too?

only thing i have to say about the giants this week is the same thing i said last week. "same thing every week."

LOL at sean taylor today. he got beat like 5 times and on this 60 yard run after catch by steven jackson he just backed up for like 10 yards and was totally afraid to tackle him, then he got run over and jackson scored.

Gonzo 12-24-2006 11:51 PM

Man the defense came out playing well but you can't expect that to carry on all game long when the offense does nothing...

Coaching changes must be made.

Innovator 12-25-2006 12:22 AM

hence the two "Fire Coughlin" chants before the fans left in the 3rd quarter

I'd rather the Pats play the Jets than the Broncos. Pats struggle against the Broncos.

Crimson 12-25-2006 09:43 PM

Great, Cowboys aren't going anywhere. 1st round loss in Seattle from the looks of it...or actually they play better on the road, so even if they win that one and everybody gets on their jock they'll get beat like 23-0 in Chicago.

Holey Joe Namath's Liver

All the Jets have to do is beat the Raiders and they're in the playoffs

Don't really care if it's against the Colts or Pats, prob would lose both but Jets/Colts was a hot game this year, and Jets did beat the Pats at Gillete. DUNNO. Gotta make sure we stop Andrew Walter first though

JETSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

I wanted to fucking spit on Joe Theissman and Kornheiser tonight. Oh my God. They would not SHUT THE FUCK UP about how "Pennington has a weak arm". Like they must have mentioned it over 60 times. Holy shit. Seriously was about to flip out because it was so overboard.

And Kevan Barlow is easily the worst RB in the entire fucking league. I have no idea why he still gets playing time. He is disgustingly AWFUL. Fuck. Just runs blindly and gains 2 yards max. Fucking horrible.

Leon Washington is amazing and I have been saying this since he first played this year. I have no idea why they don't use him more often. Every time I see Barlow's face in the backfield I want to vomit.

RP 12-26-2006 01:43 AM

My god, the Colts defense is so horrible that you forget just how great of a season Peyton Manning is having.

4100 yards 29 tds 9 ints 100.9 QB rating 3 rushing TD's

I mean, i know L.T and Brees will get all the mention. And deservedly so, but Manning probably had another MVP award this year if the Colts defense wasnt so bad.

Marvin has put up a huge year too, but you dont here about it.

I'm really just holding out hope that Peyton Manning goes on a huge roll where he just cant be stopped in the playoffs. After all these years, after this horrible defense, Peyton shreds all these motherfuckers.

He can do it. He has the ability, if he can just pull his head out of his ass in the playoffs.

Triple A 12-26-2006 01:50 AM

Thought it was funny how he was like "this is not like basketball where I can play both offense and defense..."

Also Peyton Manning is probably the top 5 sweatiest people I have ever seen. He has time to put on a suit for his post game interviews but he is still PROFUSELY sweating each time.

RP 12-26-2006 01:59 AM

Lets just say he was having protection problems.

That could be a good Right Guard commerical.

RP 12-26-2006 02:05 AM

Someone suffocated because of all the air Chad Pennington was using to get a football thrown 30 yards.

Fuck the Jets.

You want the Colts in the first round? Bring it. 49-3 Colts. Calling it now.

Triple A 12-26-2006 02:08 AM

17-16 Jets

RP 12-26-2006 02:14 AM

We'll smoke the Jets and if i'm correct, i think we would play the Ravens. I'm telling you right now. Jamal Lewis will not kill us like these other backs have. We'll beat the Ravens. Manning has seen that same Baltimore defense. Not much is different. He beat them once in Baltimore last year and he can do it again with not much problem.

I seriously feel it. I dont care what happend in Houston. Colts over New England in Indy in the AFC championship game.

RP 12-26-2006 02:19 AM

See heres the thing. Manning and pretty much everyone in Indianapolis, in the league for that matter, knows that he has to make it a shootout to win. Without Bob Sanders and Doss on defense, they're fucked. Thats whats going to happen. Manning will have to light it up. Its the only chance Indy has. Honestly, lets see it. I want to see it. I want Manning to go out guns blazing. Fuckem all.

Triple A 12-26-2006 02:25 AM

I feel like Peyton Manning can score anytime he wants to for some reason so you are KINDA right.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 12-26-2006 02:30 AM

They would have beaten the Steelers last year if Manning wasn't trying to be a hero and get the TD. Shoulda dumped it off to Dallas Clark in the flat nigga

RP 12-26-2006 02:34 AM

The Colts really havent showed a whole lot of there offense this year. Its been dump off passes or In and Out routes, or Marvin Harrison undressing some poor soul 20 yards into his stride. Other then that, theirs not been a whole lot shown. Bill Simmons ( my favorite internet columnist ) wrote a column 2 years ago before the Colts beat New England, saying something along the lines that he felt like it was a kitchen sink game . That Indy didnt have to show much at all to be 6-0 ( at the time i think) and that they would throw the whole kitchen sink at New England.

Thats how i feel this playoffs will be for the Colts offense. Dungy isnt naive enough to think that he has anything close to resembeling a playoff defense right now. I'm pretty sure you'll see the playbook open up and basicall watch Peyton either win it or lose it for us. Thats how this will go down. It sucks, cause the previous two years they've really worked hard to get away from that, but here we are again. Difference is this is a very deadly Peyton Manning.

RP 12-26-2006 02:35 AM

Shut the fuck up fag. Say that when you have a 250-300 pound Steeler player in your face every single play of a game. Check down... Nigger please. Get the fuck out of here with that shit.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 12-26-2006 02:46 AM

Drinkin alone again?

On that last drive he was trying to be a hero and get the TD, there was no Steeler in his face when that was happening. That was a pretty sweet move by Manning though calling out his lineman. I didn't see any lineman calling him out when he threw 3 INTs the year previous?

If teams take the "lets forget about our strengths and just run a base bland run offense" like the Bengals did then the Colts could easily run the table. Teams would focusing so much on the Colts poor run D that won't be doing what they are actaully good at.

RP 12-26-2006 02:47 AM

Whats the record for passing td's in the playoffs? Its going down.

RP 12-26-2006 02:51 AM

Hey when will Tom Brady's recievers start calling him out for not taking responsibility for him sucking this year and letting all his recievers take the blame?

Jesus Shuttlesworth 12-26-2006 02:59 AM

Well I think if Jabar Gaffney and Reche Caldwell had something to say not many people would listen

I didn't realize Brady sucked this year, and I also didn't realize his recievers where taking blame. I dunno what they are taking a blame for? For the Patriots being 11-4 and winning the AFC East again? What a bunch of assholes

RP 12-26-2006 03:03 AM

When the Patriots play bad the first thing you here is about there wide recievers and how they are nothing but a bunch of #2's and 3's. You dont here about how Tom Brady has fumbled the football 12 times this year and thrown 12 int's. When Tom Brady struggles, his recievers get blamed. You didnt realize any of this cause you didnt want to realize it. You're a Tom Brady apologist.
