Loved it. Maybe my favorite movie all year. Very emotional ending, as a parent. So good. Very respectful to the culture.

I gotta admit, I saw this movie and went in with a shite attitude, but the movie wasn't actually too bad. 7.5/10

Droford 12-14-2017 11:51 PM

In anticipation of seeing the Disaster Artist tomorrow with MP I saw the room

The Room - 5/10 falls under the category of so bad its actually not terrible. Wasnt the worst 100 minutes of my life wasted watching a movie.

PapaGeorgio 12-15-2017 07:35 PM

Disaster Artist - 5/10 Wasn't a fan. Most of the laughs in my theater just came from direct references from The Room, the main story just didn't have enough and missed the mark compared to the book.

PapaGeorgio 12-15-2017 07:37 PM

Jim & Andy: The Great Beyond – Featuring a Very Special, Contractually Obligated Mention of Tony Clifton - 4/10 Jim Carrey just came off as a pretentious prick. I don't like method actors who take things that serious.

So bad it's not terrible...5/10...

Are you deliberately trying to send up that joyously nonsensical piece of shit with an equally paradoxical review?

Last Jedi: 8/10

Moviepass #24 Nat. Lampoons Christmas Vacation (seen before numerous times)
Moviepass #25 Disaster Artist 8/10 - enjoyed it and was impressed by the scene comparisons at the end.

GD 12-17-2017 12:53 AM

Coco - 8/10

Very emotional.

Damian Rey 2.0 12-18-2017 11:12 AM

Captain Underpants-8/10
Was actually really really funny. Not what I expected but I was pleasantly surprised.

Black Widow 12-18-2017 11:26 AM

Nacho Libre

Fucking horrible!

Seanny One Ball 12-18-2017 11:46 AM

I bought Nacho Libre for £1 this year. You're right, it is...not good.

Sixx 12-18-2017 12:17 PM

I thought it was ok. Then again I was drinking heavily.

Sepholio 12-20-2017 07:41 AM

I just watched Howard the Duck for the first time. Saw it on and remembered the scenes in the Guardians of the Galaxy movies and figured I'd give it a go.

I....I don't even know what to think. Part of me wants to rate it like .5/10. Another part wants to rate it like 5011/10. So kanefused right now.

Droford 12-20-2017 05:35 PM

Moviepass #26 Jumanji - 5/10 didn't like how they explained it turning into a video game. Jack Black was funnier than U expected. Bet it gets a lot of heat for the dick jokes.

GD 12-21-2017 04:15 AM

The Last Jedi - 9/10

Sepholio 12-21-2017 07:07 AM

Kingsmen 2. 6.5/10. Decent action movie and I dig the whole British thing a lot. Couple things didn't get enough explanation though or exposure. Also wasn't the hugest fan of how much slo-mo they used during fight scenes.

Droford 12-22-2017 12:24 AM

The briefcase fight scene was not as good as the churchbscene in original.

Also

Moviepass #27 Darkest Hour 7/10..kinda..meh. Feel like Dunkirk stole some of its thunder ..

Droford 12-22-2017 12:25 AM

I'm going to see Tiger Zibda Hai tomorrow because..why not
I'm shooting to hit 30 movies before the year is up.
Tiger Zinda Hai
Shape of Water
Downsizing
Father Figures
Greatest Showman

GD 12-22-2017 03:00 AM

Tiger Zinda Hai might be amusing. Salman Khan is a Bollywood icon.

DaveWadding 12-22-2017 03:36 AM

Coco - 10/10

Jumanji - 6.3/10

El Vaquero de Infierno 12-22-2017 09:51 AM

Star Wars: The Last Jedi 8/10

Droford 12-23-2017 02:43 AM

Moviepass #28 Downsizing 4/10 stupid movie

El Vaquero de Infierno 12-23-2017 09:17 AM

Miss Sloane 8/10

Shisen Kopf 12-23-2017 10:34 AM

The last Planet of the Apes movie. It was decent I give it a 3

Destor 12-23-2017 06:21 PM

The Greatest Showman: 7/10

Could have used an extra 20 to flesh out subplots a bit better. 90 min run time hurt it. Music was very top 40 which didnt help jackman but efron and zedeya shared a killer number

Pitch 3: 7/10

The sequel 2 should have been....atleast from a soundtrack perspective. Plot was absurd but stay compelling. Farcry from 1 and like 2 desperately needed a male vocalist but i enjoyed it.

Frank Drebin 12-23-2017 08:02 PM

3 Billboards - 3.5/4. Really really good. Kinds veers into the unbelievable (unless thats what they were going for) at times but I enjoyed it lots.

Sixx 12-23-2017 08:29 PM

Mechete Kills - 6/10

I like cheese and ridiculous, but this was confusinf for a film like thst.

slik 12-23-2017 09:54 PM

Watched The Good Dinosaur. 7/10

Might be the darkest Pixar flick (Toy Story 3 is still up there). I liked it (I think) but it was odd.

Frank Drebin 12-23-2017 10:37 PM

The Shape of Water - 3 out of 4.

Splash Noir

Plenty of Octavia Spencer "mmmmmm-hhhmmmmm" 's and a villain that isn't totally reviled enough so we made him fairly racist and misogynistic.

Droford 12-24-2017 02:53 AM

Moviepass #29 Shape of Water inconclusive..Power went out 15 minutes before the end. Up til that point I would have said 7.5/10. I had to deduct .5 or for the stupid musical number where she sings it felt out if place even as like a daydream sequence.

slik 12-24-2017 03:17 AM

Bright - 3/10

It starts really well, I couldn't understand the 'worst film of the year' reviews. Then the 2nd hour happened. I don't know if I've ever seen a movie so disastrously fall apart. The 2nd half of the movie is completely incomprehensible.

El Vaquero de Infierno 12-24-2017 09:01 AM

Denial 7/10

Sixx 12-24-2017 11:13 AM

Terminator: Genisys - this sucked, nnot to mention the stupid itlre,

2/10

Lock Jaw 12-24-2017 11:54 AM

lol Genisys

So worried about setting up a "new franchise" and "sequels" that it forgot to be good

Ruien 12-24-2017 09:16 PM

Blight 6.5 out of 10

ClockShot 12-25-2017 02:12 PM

The Shape of Water - 5/5

Del Toro & Jones do it again.
