Sounds like a good show. The tag team stuff going across the two shows is smart. Hopefully Madcap Moss and Gunther work out, because I see a lot in those guys.

Kind of weird that they’re just dropping Reigns/Nakamura. Or seem to be. Maybe they’ll come back to it. I wonder if something is going on with him.

Enjoyed the show this week, as I do most weeks.

But I've been skipping the Lacey Evans stuff. Watched maybe three minutes of the first "rough childhood" segment and said fuck that.

I think those segments have been pretty good. I hope they can stick the landing though. They did a great job with the intro to Xia Li, then she was off tv for weeks, and now she’s a heel?

Dropping Nakamure // Reigns so Reigns doesn't look bad.

It’s hard to care about too many of the women outside the main programs. Lacey Evans looks great, but I’d rather see her do porn than wrestle at this point. There are only so many slots that can be inhabited by people that draw real interest.

Usually people who are not financially stable or have an affinity for it. Seems like Evans has none of it. Tough luck.

I always wanted to see Imperium running roughshod over the SmackDown until Regal brings together his own group of grapplers to go up against them as their equals. Cesaro, Bryan, Thatcher, plus one other if it was 4 man Imperium. That’s a few months of killer 10-20 minute matches on TV.

Oh well.

There’s still elements of that they can do. I like the idea of Gunther & Ludvig as the two man unit. Cesaro could come back and team with Aichner (a one time protege). Sign Thatcher, Lorcan and Burch back. Thatcher will need a partner. I’m sure there’s another great grappler somewhere I’m forgetting about. I guess he and Ciampa had a thing for a while, but I’d bring back Gargano to team with him.

Imagine the tag series you could have with:

* Instinct
* Cesaro & Aichner
* Lorcan & Burch
* Thatcher & …let’s go Gulak
* Ciampa & Gargano
* Throw in Tyler Bate & Ilya Dragonov

You can have the tag belts floating about and allowing them to go between shows every now and then.

Yeah there’s still ways to do, and I think the idea actually grew out of the Bryan/Gulak relationship- before I then forgot about Gulak completely.

Also couldn’t remember who Thatcher had teamed with before, but yeah Ciampa, and yeah I think I’d prefer reuniting DIY too.

Is Instinct what they’re calling GUNTHER & Kaiser now, or was that an autocorrect?

I dunno. I saw a clip of Gunther and they had a logo saying that in the corner, so I’ve just run with it. You can call them whatever you want. I’ve never been too attached to the Imperium name.
