I got you covered, bro.

THIS is a 'turn Cena heel' post.

So sick of Cena never putting anyone over.

... Wait, what?

#1-norm-fan 08-18-2014 01:02 AM

But seriously, if WrestleMania crowds weren't huge uber-mark dipshits, this story would end with Cena winning the title back at WrestleMania. They set it up perfectly with that. I'm all for putting over the next guy but Bryan or Reigns are nowhere near worthy of doing what Cena just failed so miserably at.

Comments on this Yahoo front page article on Brock Lesnar murdering John Cena live on PPV are amazing.

I hope that John Cena reads this I thought that it was the worst summer slam pay per view I have ever seen I have been a fan of the WWE for more than thirty years I have watch every pay per view that they have come out with, but not any more I was not impressed at all and I think that vince needs to come back and run the day to day operations because until some one else is running the d t d operations I will not be ordering any more pay per views. No wonder why the company is loosing millions of dollars they really need to take a look back at how things used to be and the way they are now because Vince was a Billionar now he is only a millionar when a company starts loosing that much money they need to fix things. any way I am done ordering pay per views and I have time warner cable so they don't offer the net work so I have been spending a lot of money every month to order pay per views but after tonight's pay per view I am done Karl Riley Warsaw New York

I give it two months before people realize how much of a #$%$ up it was not to have Cena win and Rollins cash in on him. You just traded the Devil you know for the Devil you don't know.

I think in the back of Vincent's mind , he realized he was in a dreamworld and the day will come when his troops wrestlers will be performing before 4 or 5 thousand Fans again paying 20 Dollars, Vince you are back in the 1980's again in your Tee shirt performing at CYO centers, could not happen to a nicer Guy.

#1-norm-fan 08-18-2014 01:10 AM

Wait... So is Rollins the "devil you know"?

More like the "Devil" that will stay.

Vastardikai 08-18-2014 01:14 AM

Where do we go from here?

Actually, I feel like the next feud for Lesnar should be Sheamus.

Sepholio 08-18-2014 01:15 AM

lol @ those yahoo posts. Especially Captain Grammar Karl.

#1-norm-fan 08-18-2014 01:16 AM

Lesnar literally has no realistic feud until WrestleMania. No one is taking the title from him til then. They really need to find some feuds that can sell PPVs that don't involve the title and they need to do it fast.

#1-norm-fan 08-18-2014 01:16 AM

Though Cena winning the title back next month would be the ultimate lolWWE.

I'm putting my money on taker coming back to exact revenge. I'm with the lot here saying there are no viable threats.. The only one I can think of, if booked right, and built perfectly is bray wyatt. I know he is pretty much "old"ertaker now.. but after John cena getting beat like he attacked a Missouri police man, undertaker is the only one that makes sense

Sepholio 08-18-2014 01:46 AM

That sit up gif needs to be like 3 seconds longer.

Still good stuff though.

road doggy dogg 08-18-2014 01:51 AM

Brock is going to continue to wreak havoc on the WWE for a few weeks and it'll get outta control so the authority will have to press the emergency OH SHIT button and take the titles off him

Enter THE DEMON KANE getting his mask back and tomb stoning Lesnar straight to hell and winning the titles

*pyro explodes*

Tying Flair and then losing in a cash in the same day would be typical WWE anti-climatic fashion.

Simplest idea would be to just bump up the US and IC to a higher status and fill both with hype selling feuds.

They only need until the Rumble for filler stuff with Lesnar so just feed him big name stars who can generate sales but afford the loss (ex. Orton, Henry, Sheamus post-US reign, Cena again).

I kinda see the opposite.

I imagine Bryan's comeback trail has him coming heads up with Lesnar, beating him in a grueling, hard fought victory, and Brock going monkey shit that he's basically run roughshod over what he considers "legitimate threats" and loses to "somone not on my radar".

My questions at this point are:

1) How are they going to handle Brock being "the man" with his whole limited days sitch... I mean, in that they've storyline stripped people of various titles up to and including Danielson for "not being able to defend", and then you give *THE* title go a guy who will barely be around to defend? Stretching the suspension of disbelief thin there.

2) What does this mean for Seth? No way in hell he's going up against Brock. That would just be another wasted MITB holder.

#1-norm-fan 08-18-2014 02:14 AM

I can't see any possible way they make the IC or US title something that can main event or even go a long way in helping to sell a PPV at this point.

Poit 08-18-2014 02:29 AM

Well then.

Ambrose gonna take that case from Rollins at Night of Champions. Book it.

Poit 08-18-2014 02:39 AM

After seeing that main event, does Rollins even want the case?

Sepholio 08-18-2014 02:40 AM

Nope, but I bet you Goldberg does.

Sepholio 08-18-2014 02:45 AM

Before I forget, LOL @ Sandow being dressed as a lumberjack. Good shit right there.

teamXtremist 08-18-2014 02:48 AM

Holy fucking shit what a great ppv .best lumberjack match I've ever seen, cena got fucking murdered and Paige is great

GD 08-18-2014 03:13 AM

I got to watch the show with some casual fans. I had a great time watching their reactions to how Brock Lesnar manhandled Cena and won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Doesn't the WWE Network sort of make selling the PPV not as important except for the 6 month period coming up for Night of Champions?

GD 08-18-2014 03:49 AM

I heard a boring chat during the Cena-Lesnar bout while rewatching it :wtf:

Paul Heyman said on the MMA Hour Brocks contract has him working more days when he is champ.

Question, Damon....did I invoke the name of my country, or fellow countrymen, when I said what I did? No.

Canada had nothing to do with what I said about Little Jimmy and Paul the PussyWhipped. Let's keep our head out of our ass, okay D? =P

Cool King 08-18-2014 08:23 AM

Well, I'll say that I really enjoyed SummerSlam. It was a great PPV pretty much from top to bottom.

The only downside was Paige winning the title, but we all know my stance on Paige, but other than that, great PPV.

I hope though that Paige/AJ ends after AJ's rematch and we get someone else in the title picture. I just can't be doing with hearing Paige scream all the time, or attempt to show she has mic skills. She's abysmal on the mic. I would like to see crazy Alicia Fox back in the title picture, or maybe even Natalya.

Anyway, more positive things now and I'd say the match of the night was probably Rollins/Ambrose. Ziggler becoming Intercontinental Champion was pretty great too and it's about time he has his hands on a title again. I get the feeling now that we'll see Ziggler as champion until Barrett comes back. Then we'll see Ziggler/Barrett at whatever PPV is next after Barrett's return. Also, what was with Miz's back? It was completely red, like he got some pretty back sunburn or something.

I was somewhat surprised that Rusev won his match though. I thought that with a storyline like this, with it being USA vs Russia, a big stage would be great for Rusev being handed his first loss, and it being to an All-American American.

Though I will say that it was pretty cool to see a massive Russian flag above the ring, while the Russian National Anthem plays (great anthem by the way) and Rusev and Lana standing triumphantly with their flag over the bodies of their fallen American foes.

http://oi61.tinypic.com/f0nejt.jpg

Such a strong image. It's great.

A quick mention on Stephanie/Brie, and it went pretty much the way I thought it would, though much like everyone else, I too thought Stephanie was looking "Bonerific" last night. Like I said previously, my initial thoughts were that she looked like some kind of sex mistress. Though she was looking in great shape last night and she also looked like she hadn't aged at all. But when she's not wearing her wrestling attire, she does look her age, so I don't know what all that's about. Maybe it was the way her hair was last night, I don't know.

Anyway, for the first time in a long time, I really enjoyed Randy Orton in a match. I don't know what it was, but he was great in his match with Reigns, but it was pretty obvious that Reigns was going to win. I'm just curious to see where Orton goes from here now. Though I will say that I liked the taped hands and different coloured trunks, even though it was only grey. I think Orton should stay away from black trunks for a while and mix it up with various coloured trunks along with his taped hands.

Lesnar/Cena was pretty mad. I don't think I've ever seen Cena get mauled like he did, and I don't think I've ever seen such a one sided PPV Main Event. Still, it'll be interesting to see what happens now as the WWE Champion is now a part-timer. Though now, with Cena losing, if he ever wins the title back, he'll be tied with Flair with sixteen World Title reigns. A part of me looks forward to seeing the reaction that gets, if it ever happens.
