Mortal Kombat team discusses their plans post-Mortal Kombat development to include more spin-off games similar to Shaolin Monks while Warner Bros might start making Mortal Combat cartoons or at least comics. Unlikely the old Midway team will work on older Midway arcade titles that are not Mortal Kombat.

Steam sale on games ends up saving a small developer company from bankruptcy. Valve accepted the request by Introversion to hold a big promotion for the company's games with the end result of enough income was generated to save the company for the time being.

I hate it when game series are split up on platforms like that. If you're really into the series and the next game is on a console you don't have (especially a downgrade like that), it's a reall kick in the junk. I can understand a PS2 series being continued on the PS3 (God of War), but why do this? It's the same thing with Phantasy Star Universe on ps3 and 360 being followed upon the psp with Portable1 and 2.

They really need to give up on the MK cartoons. Every one of them was horrendous.

Also, Smelly Meatball, could you separate these out to separate posts, if it's not too much trouble?

Nah it wouldn't be too much trouble to separate the news.

I figured it would be easier to read and follow if I grouped the news that didn't already have threads into a single post instead of having 5-6 separate posts in a single thread.

Valve adding the Holy Hand Grenade to Team Fortress 2 in celebration of Worms Reloaded being available for sale. Unfortunately no killer rabbits will be available nor does the grenade do much since its more for show than massive explosions.

For those who like robot boobies, SEGA giving away a free boob code as a pre-order gift for their upcoming game called Cyber Troopers Virtual-On: Force. The code allows customizable boob sizes for the main characters in the game.

Game is supposed to come out this December in Japan for the Xbox 360.

Yeah but every time you put a HDD into another PS3 it formats it. There are no workarounds for this.

You can back up your shit to an external but only from the working PS3. If it suddenly crashes like mine did you're screwed.

When my original 360 red ringed, I kept the hdd and everything is still there. The only issue is that all DLC and arcade titles I had on the old system don't work unless I'm signed in to Live. Then again, I'm signed in 99% of the time I'm using my 360, so no big there.

You can transfer your DLC licenses to the new 360. But you can do this only once a year.

Some of my DLC didn't transfer and I'm still fighting MS over it.

Capcom going all out with a Vegas feel for the collector's edition of Dead Rising 2 for $89.99.

It won't be like most collector's editions where there are as many copies as the regular edition but a real limited edition similar to Metroid Prime Trilogy.
