What would everyone’s thoughts on Cryme Tyme being Jericho’s partners? Or Shad Gaspard & Muhammad Hassan? They’ve just released a comic book together. Shad & JTG did a video claiming they “stole” the AEW World Title. I assume they want in.

They never thrilled me in the ring and they were presented as too much of an OTT gimmick, but there’s no doubt that they were super-charismatic guys, with some size to them too.

JTG in particular really bulked up. I saw him at WrestleCon and was floored by how huge he was considering he always looked like one of the smallest guys on the roster in WWE.

That said, I don't know if AEW is going to add even more teams just yet. Jericho's partners are almost assuredly going to be LAX.

It’s definitely a weird-sounding term if you aren’t used to it. Most people don’t think about this sort of stuff, because they don’t really need to. It’s only a small percentage of people it applies to and what ever. Normally you can differentiate sex based on phenotypical information. It’s just a small asterisk that hey, you can’t always 100%. Listen to how people like Rey are talking like they were actually in the room or watched Nyla grow up. It’s kind of pervasive, without meaning to be. And they’re so angry about it. So many people insist the existence of Nyla’s penis. And putting up your hand and saying “yo, it’s not necessarily like that” gets you ridiculed. No evidence to the contrary. The best point raised so far is “she’s transgender, so she must have been something else first.” A trick of words, not science.

I don’t know when she started transitioning. I don’t know when she realized “I am a woman.” I don’t know if she ever felt comfortable being called a male, or if it was always something her brain — real fucking scientific synapses — always rejected. I’m not saying she’s intersex. And what do population figures have to do with anything? Transgender people are something like 0.6% of the population. I was looking at full gear tickets on Ticketmaster and there's still a bunch of tickets available directly from Ticketmaster. I also noted there's ringside seats available front row..for $2500. I went to a WWE ppv a couple years ago and got very similar front row ringside tickets off Ticketmaster directly for like $300. I'm gonna buy off a different 3rd party site though since I can avoid the ridiculous Ticketmaster fees.

Finally finished All Out. Pretty disappointing. Ladder Match was awesome. Cracker Barrell Clash was awesome. Cody-Shawn Spears was pretty good. Everything else was way too fucking long.

Also, I'm very sad to admit it as I love him in PWG, but Excalibur has gotta go. He's not very good at mainstream announcing. Golden Boy and Jim Ross were great to listen to though.

There was nothing pretentious about this, he was sharing his feelings and excitement with fans.

There is a significant internet population who bitch about anything AEW does.

I have been critical of MANY of the AEW wrestlers for saying and doing stupid stuff. Hell pretty much any name value person they have are at best very hypocritical (ex:Jericho), and at worst crybabies with a false sense of accomplishment and bravado they never earned (ex:Omega), so much so that it has really hurt their likeability.

That said, the one guy who has come off genuine and humble has been Cody. Sure his on screen character has done some goofy things like cosplaying HHH and scaring his dog with pyro, but that is within the confines of the show.

As an EVP repping the company, he has been the perfect spokesperson.

Can you imagine if the other wrestlers shut up and just let Cody be the mouthpiece for the company? I think everybody would agree there would be a lot less to bitch about, and a lot more goodwill still in the bank.

For those in the UK, AEW will be airing on ITV although it won't be live nor on Wednesdays.

Might also just be for the short term since both ITV and Tony Khan mentioned they are still working out some details in the deal and AEW's goal is for the show to air live in the UK.

Guess ITV handles ad breaks differently than Sky Sports which was WWE's previous network home.

Then again ITV also has a pretty bad track record recently when it comes to handling wrestling. Killed World of Sport's revival because of their general incompetence.

US TV has twice as many ad breaks as UK TV so it's a TV standards regulated issue. When it comes to live shows I'm pretty sure (at least this is what they used to do) Sky Sports gets around it by running less commercials than usual per ad break and just throwing up the WWE logo until they come back on, which is basically dead air.

That was something I noticed a lot whenever the RAW/Smackdown stream I was watching came from the UK.

Replace all that dead air with hockey commercials and that pretty much is how its aired in Canada via Sportsnet whenever a stream was from there.

I question the decision to run Illinois again so quickly. It's 2 and a half hours from Campaign to Chicago.

They’re running Chicago A LOT.

That adds up since by the time Cody and The Elite held All In a few months later, there were already some rumblings of someone being interested in starting a potential new promotion and All In quickly catching Kahn's attention.

Kahn was also only interested in Omega, The Young Bucks, and Hangman Page to be the core of his new promotion and help set everything up. Wasn't interested in Cody and only brought him in after Omega and the Bucks managed to convince him it would be a very good idea to do so.

This is the biggest possible deal that AEW could sign here in Canada.

To think about TSN's reach, they are also part of what was, 9 years ago, an Olympic broadcasting consortium that televised the highest-rated TV program Canada's ever aired....the 2010 Men's Olympic Hockey Championship between the U.S. and Canada, where Sidney Crosby, from Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia, scored the biggest international hockey goal, for a title, that Hockey Canada is responsible for....at 7:40 in OverTime to sink the U.S., 3-2.

That game attracted an average audience of 16.6 million viewers, with 26.5 million watching SOME part of that game. Canada had a population of about 33.4 million people, so that pretty well meant that the promotional power of that consortium, mostly led by TSN's owners, Bell Media(also owners of the CTV Television Network, TSN's primary network partner), proved very fruitful at that time. It's something that, sadly, the CBC could never hope to do whether they hold the Olympic broadcast rights or not in this country.

And for the record, TSN's main studios are located at 9 Channel Nine Court in Scarborough, Ontario, which is a part of the City of Toronto, and sits on that city's eastern third.
