Life - 6/10

Didn't live to my expectations but a solid watch.

SlickyTrickyDamon 03-25-2017 04:02 AM

Power Rangers 7/10

Emperor Smeat 03-27-2017 01:35 PM

John Wick - 4 out of 5

GD 03-29-2017 01:29 AM

Fences - 6/10

Felt like a play on the screen. It was nice and felt realistic...dunno.

Destor 03-31-2017 09:19 PM

Five came back- 8/10

While its purpose as propoganda to support Hollywood's "role" in the military industrial complex is very clear its still a great look at cinema history through that filter. Well done and compelling watch.

Frank Drebin 03-31-2017 10:20 PM

The Discovery - 2.5 / 5

Another movie with a great premise that has me intrigued from the get-go but disappointingly does almost nothing with it (see: The Purge 1)

GD 04-03-2017 06:31 AM

Kong: Skull Island - 5/10

Fun!

Lock Jaw 04-04-2017 05:42 PM

John Wick: Chapter 2 - 9/10

Highly enjoyed it..... thought it was leaps and bounds better than the first one......

A.J.K 04-04-2017 08:06 PM

American Ultra 10/10

Lucy 10/10

Seanny One Ball 04-05-2017 06:50 PM

"Chicken" is so good it's almost a perfect film. Every performance in it is pure and strong, particularly the lead.
This film is revitalising.

GD 04-06-2017 04:30 AM

Moonlight - 8/10

It was very emotional and touching.

Frank Drebin 04-06-2017 11:10 PM

The Neon Demon - 2.5/4

Kinda cool. Kinda not. Some trippy shit but the characters had no depth. Good experience I guess. Story you're probably familiar with just now on acid.

GD 04-10-2017 06:03 AM

Swiss Army Man - 5/10

It was hard for me to comprehend. I guess that was the intention. Whoever made it was trippin balls.

slik 04-10-2017 09:06 AM

Dark Places - 7/10

Face Of An Angel - 4/10

Seanny One Ball 04-10-2017 06:16 PM

The Neon Demon is one of the worst films ever made. It's so empty and vapid that I'd almost take it as a spoof on the model mentality were it not so obviously supposed to be avant garde. The real tragedy is that it was beautifully filmed.

Destor 04-11-2017 03:02 AM

Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates: 6/10

Couldnt sleep. Watched for Aubrey Plaza and Anna Kendrick. Enjoyed it for a romcom.

I dunno if it was one of the worst ever made, but it wasnt what i would call good. I mostly like when people take chances even if it fails though.

Thanks for chiming in. Not sure what other think or would think of this.

Seanny One Ball 04-11-2017 12:19 PM

I don't hate many films and recently there has been very little to complain about but Neon Demon was basically Winding Refn making a two hour long, big budget film school project.

Frank Drebin 04-11-2017 12:52 PM

Well, at least it had a shower scene with those two tall blondes. I'm not usually one for the tall model looking gals, but that chick who played Sarah was hot. That's worth half a star.

Black Widow 04-15-2017 11:23 AM

Fate Of The Furious

8/10

Second best after Fast 5.

Seanny One Ball 04-15-2017 11:54 AM

The best one is Tokyo Drift.

You and simple fan need to hang out

Seanny One Ball 04-16-2017 05:56 PM

Spectacles, testicles, wallet and watch.

That is my only memory of Sister Act.

The Belko Experiment

5/10

Frank Drebin 04-20-2017 11:41 AM

Split

3.5/4. Really enjoyed it. Nothing terribly fancy, and I'm glad we never went to the "is he faking it?" territory that would have been a huge drag. That last scene was unexpected and really really cool. If you haven't seen it and plan on it, I hope you haven't read the spoilers. It isn't a normal M.Night "twist" like (barf) The Village. Has nothing to do with the main movie.

The Fate of the Furious - 3/5

Some of the other entries are better than this. But, this was good.

Blonde Moment 04-22-2017 11:11 AM

The ReZort- 7/10
Nice little zombie movie that does pretty good with the budget given

slik 04-23-2017 12:42 AM

Phoenix Forgotten - 8/10.

It felt like a love-letter to the late 90's, so authentic. A true gem in the found footage ocean, er, desert.

Ezra 04-23-2017 04:47 PM

The Founder - Good movie. Keaton, as always, just dominates. You definitely have to feel sorry for the McDonald brothers for not getting the royalties for their invention and design. Yeah, the million a piece set them for life but it was still a bit harsh.

4/5

Kong - I know a lot of people I know didn't like this movie but I enjoyed it. An all star cast with good effects made for a nice action flick. Looking forward to see how this monster movie franchise rolls out.

3/5

Seanny One Ball 04-25-2017 12:08 AM

War On Everyone - 8/10

Very very funny. It has the style of those amazing Irish comedies that keep appearing out of the blue.
If you like Perrier's Bounty, The Guard, Calvary and that awesome Irish Stag weekend film you will love War On Everyone.
It rivals Seven Psychopaths for hilarious dialogue.

ClockShot 04-25-2017 02:33 PM

The Lost City of Z - 4.5/5

Destor 04-25-2017 09:15 PM

Emperor Smeat 04-29-2017 09:57 PM

Dumb and Dumber To - 2.5 out of 5.

Better than the prequel film but the original film is still the best one in the series.
