This week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw did an average viewing audience of 3,884,667 viewers on the USA Network. That’s up an average of +830,667 viewers from the week prior and much more like it. Why on earth did it take Vince McMahon, Triple H and company so long to figure out they needed to start trying again? Below is how the show did each hour:

Hour one – 4,043,000 viewers
Hour two – 3,786,000 viewers
Hour three – 3,825,000 viewers
Average – 3,884,667 viewers

In terms of breakdowns, the third hour was almost a million more (975k) compared to last week and one of the biggest ppv bumps in recent months. Ratings wise, highest since late August. Next 3 weeks could be an issue since its either taped stuff or the Slammy show that gets rushed for stuff. Based on a recent tweet, Tommy Dreamer is currently rumored to have finished his tv deal with the WWE but will stay around for house shows and tours.
A potential Shane McMahon dvd set for next year was rumored to have been canceled recently. The set was originally rumored to be a possible choice for one of the two months not yet set by the WWE for releases.
Gawker managed a small victory so far in the on-going Hulk Hogan lawsuit as Hogan's side won't be able to access the company's servers to find more evidence to support their case.

It's like a wrestling/intense Mexican drama combined. You'll either love it or hate it. But it's way fucking different than any wrestling show you've ever seen.

You know how sometimes people are like "If a wrestling company wants to succeed against WWE at this point, they've gotta be different"? Lucha Underground is basically someone saying "Fuck yeah, we'll be different! Careful what you wish for, muchachos!"

I didn't become a fan of Asuka until yesterday, those butt moves were awesome. Didn't get to catch her other stuff in NXT or pre-NXT. She has a bright future in WWE.

The announcers need to figure out where the butt is and stop calling them hips. That'd be sideswipe action. She is hitting them with her brownstar full force

Here we have Asuka, who stares at ppl while they are cutting promos and a woman of the Butt Barrage. I liked how Asuka was hyped from the crowd chanting and played off of it. She was definitely rowdy and entertaining as hell. I watched a few of her matches in Japan and was wondering when we would see this "version" of her character.

If Reigns is the top face and successful in carrying that position, they could ever turn Cena, although that’s a decision they may not want to make because of him being almost a public face for the Make-a-Wish and WWE alliance. They could also have Lesnar or Undertaker as a surprise winner of the Rumble, although the fans will cheer Undertaker over him and may still cheer Lesnar over him. But right now, the strongest Mania main event dynamic for the vibe and without leading to an outcome that people won’t want or isn’t the best thing (Undertaker beating Reigns isn’t the right move if he’s going to be the face of the company; Reigns beating Undertaker won’t make people happy, so it’s a match that is tough for an ending), the Lesnar match has the most potential. But the Cena match, which was the plan prior to the Rollins injury, whether he’s a face and it’s a passing of the torch in front of a record crowd, or a heel, also makes sense.

At the moment, WWE is undecided on who Reigns would be facing at Mania. Easiest is Cena vs Reigns but it could involve the dreaded Cena heel turn the company hates to consider.

According to PWI, the January set of house shows for NXT sold out within minutes of tickets going on sale. These are the Chicago, Milwaukee, Pittsburgh, and Detroit shows.
Next NXT special planned to be taking place in Dallas on April 1st. Tapings themselves will be more frequent in January due to the need to rush things before the WWE gets too busy with Mania season.

I do think he's better than half the main roster and that may be over valuing him but its how I feel. I think he has just as much value as Del Rio and Sheamus and would fit right in to that spot on the card. For WWE not to use him on the main roster against guys like Cena, Owens, Del Rio, Ambrose, and Lesnar is a head scratcher. Obviously its just an Observer report but I could see it being true. He could also sign a main roster contract when his NXT deal is up. He has a lot more value than just being a NXT inhancent talent in my opinion.

A long, well-built Cena vs Joe feud where Joe is just bitter after spending 15 years being the "king of the minor leagues" while Cena was the "face of wrestling" and made more money than Joe will ever see in his life could potentially be outstanding.

We need more feuds with some actual depth and drama behind them as opposed to "I want the title" or "I attacked you because I'm a bad guy".
