The only thing i might possibly be bitter about is that i wish i would of stayed a few more years just for my own personal pleasure. I wish Punk all the success in the world, i just wish he would have been a better guy about the whole situation with my fed, but i could totally see where your coming from. Didnt mean to be such a dick, just got to aggressive with getting my point across.

Volare 11-24-2010 08:33 AM

I'm waiting for the cheap shots to come from Punk on RAW from the desk. Just like he did with Riley, which was funny as hell.

I like you.

I've met Punk on multiple occasions, had several convos with him. This dude is right about the "Straight Edge" thing, but he didn't really try to convert me, as I guess I already live the lifestyle (no drinking, no drugs, at all). Punk has a really smarmy, dickish, dry, sarcastic personality, but it wasn't bad. Orton is the same way, they both have similar personalities. I have a dry sarcastic personality as well so I guess I didnt take offense to Punk being...Punk. Besides, he was cool as shit with me, just like Orton, as long as I wasn't being a mark. He'd say something smart. I'd say something smart back.

But then again, you knew him professionally so it could have been completely different.

I only know porn stars and drug dealers.

That Uncle Curtis is a riot, ain't he?

The Jayman 11-24-2010 11:13 AM

Well he told me the story of the whiskey bottle and the hamster but I just didn't get it

Xero 11-24-2010 11:18 AM

Yeah, most people can't grasp that the hamster goes in first.

Volare 11-24-2010 11:23 AM

I never got it either.

I sure hope Joey hasn't been pulling a Matt Hardy so far.

Jeff Hardy is overrated and that's it. WWE gave him a push, and it went straight to his head...not unlike all the Ganja he smokes.

I'd honestly rather have Styles doing NXT...him and cole would be hillarious.

I've always thought the same thing, just never cared to write about it. Glad someone did. :y:

That guy doesn't look sumo, he just looks ridiculously obese.

I miss Joey on commentary.

SlickyTrickyDamon 11-24-2010 04:51 PM

I'd rather have him on commentary than on twitter.

1. It's not a rumor.

2. It started a minute after that tweet.

Londoner 11-24-2010 04:57 PM

Damnit.

Also, spelling it like rumor just looks fucking weird.

Volare 11-24-2010 04:58 PM

It makes you wanna point out a spell check and make someone feel like an idiot, but it's actually right. Like a splinter in your mind.

I'm sorry but, I have a problem arguing with my spell check. Just so you know though, I totally prefer that spelling of it.

Bringing it up again: Jeff Hardy left the WWE on August 28, 2009. Approximately four months later, with zero TV time in between, he appeared on the January 4th episode of Impact.

Subsequently, nearly a year later he turns heel, ditches his horrible self-made music and wins the TNA World Title.

From PWInsider:

Proofs of Chris Jericho's new book is starting to make the rounds within the book industry and one insider sent the following quick comments: " I didn't think this could possibly top the first book but I was sadly mistaken. You are in for a real treat. The chronicling of his first few months in the "e" is on Brett Hart levels of awesomeness in terms of writing. It literally picks up immediately after his first book. I'm only 40 pages or so in, but there is so much jam-packed information that I don't think was ever reported previously."

Cannot wait for this book.
