Who wants to bet SOMEONE else will try to sneak attack Swede disguised as Robb Banks?
It'll be funny if it's Matty Boyle! A 7ft Robb Banks! Lol!

Can't wait for this.

How is Robb Banks worthy of a title shot? Stinks of bad writing to me...

Cesaro rumored to be out soon due to a shoulder injury. Worst case scenario is him missing Mania next year.

According to sources close to WWE, Cesaro may have torn rotator cuff. If he seeks surgery for this treatment, he could be out of action anywhere from four to six months. This is another horrible injury that comes on the heels of Seth Rollins' knee injury and Randy Orton's shoulder injury. Elsewhere in the midcard, Rusev and Lana are both out while recovering from recent injuries.

He is going to be a star. Like a main event star. If he can transition himself into an actual character, and not the one dimensional thing he is right now, WWE may have a moneymaker in the future.

So what did you guys think of Team FTW taking out Swede Savard at the end of last weeks' Carnage?
I think it was a really good storytelling decision by the CHW Creative Team. I hate how often in wrestling, especially in the WWE, all the heels are automatically allies just because they are heels and vice versa. But Team FTW is really fleshed out well with they're character in that even as heels, they still destroyed a fellow heel (Swede) for what they think was his fault for them losing the match.

I really hope this isn't a face turn for Swede, I want to see Swede battle Team FTW!
Who do you guys think would be a good partner for Swede if he took on INNOVATOR and XACUTOR?

Imagine Devastator returning...a team FTW original!

What do you all think?!?!?!?!

This week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw only did an average of 2,964,000 viewers on the USA Network. That’s down an average of (-328,667 viewers) from the week prior and the lowest audience of the year.

Below is a breakdown of viewership by hour:

Hour one – 3,190,000 viewers
Hour two – 2,990,000 viewers
Hour three – 2,712,000 viewers
Average – 2,964,000 viewers
For some comparisons and historical stuff, this week's episode broke another new low and is even lower than the Christmas 2012 episode (2.0 rating vs 2.16 this week). Around 3rd ppv in a row the post-PPV bump has been very low or non-existent. RAW needs another 0.6 drop in ratings to match TNA Impact's highest ever rating (2.2 for their Monday debut). In terms of hour breakdowns, 8pm took the #4 spot with 9pm at the #5 spot and 10pm at the #10 spot.

While WWE officials still want Reigns to win the WWE World Heavyweight Title soon, it was also noted by Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio that they don't want Reigns to win the title and still have people boo him.

They may be looking to build him up with angles and out-of-the-ring appearances before putting the title on him. No word yet on what they have planned for Sheamus' reign as champion but he should carry the title at least until the Royal Rumble.

WWE talent Zamariah "ZZ" Loupe was recently injured at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando during a training session. He's expected to be out of action for up to 6 weeks.

The incident was described as a case of miscommunication but most of the blame was put on ZZ for not paying attention. There's definitely a feeling among some that ZZ does not have a very bright WWE future.

ZZ was the male runner-up on the most recent season of WWE Tough Enough. It was announced in late October that WWE had signed ZZ, as well as 4 other competitors from the show, to developmental deals.

We've noted how Lana has major backstage heat with WWE officials. For what it's worth, it was noted on Wrestling Observer Radio today that she has "nuclear heat." There's a feeling that the heat comes from her leaking the news of her real-life engagement with Rusev, and some of the cryptic comments she's made on social media since.
F4W thinks Lana's WWE career is likely done and WWE is just waiting for her contract to expire or for her to ask for a release.

I am one of those people on the verge of becoming a former WWE fan. I'm tired of being told through Raw, Smackdown and PPV's that WWE superstars I have rooted for - from Ziggler to Cesaro to Kevin Owens aren't top stars - no matter how strongly crowd reaction seems to disagree. I'm tired of NXT stars getting their big "break" in WWE, just to be treated like jokes.

Six months ago, my son and I traveled 12 hours – from Eastern Tennessee to Orlando, Florida to watch Sasha Banks wrestle Becky Lynch at #‎NXTTakeover.- One of the greatest women's matches of all time. Last night, in what I believe was their first singles match on #‎RAW Sasha and Becky were given four minutes. At a time when WWE desperately needs to make new stars – when they need to give wrestlers with talent the opportunity to break through – they gave Sasha and Becky four minutes. I turned the channel, and watched a pretty good football game instead. I think I can get used to watching football games on Monday night again.

I will be watching RAW this Monday. Maybe, as is often the case in relationships, they will give me just enough to remind me why I love wrestling - just enough to keep me coming back. Maybe they will even give Sasha and Becky a rematch – and a legitimate chance to show the world what they can do. .

There is an old saying in politics : as Ohio goes, so goes the nation. Think of me as the Ohio of wrestling fans. If I leave, it's not just one disgruntled former fan; finding something else to do on Monday nights. Instead, losing a long-time, die-hard fan like me might well be an indication of a larger exodus from WWE. I guess we'll see what tale the ratings tell.

I want to stay. I really do. So please WWE - next week on WWE Raw... Just give me a reason.

Let me know what YOU think. Oh yeah, #‎SockTuesday is one week away!

For some perspective, Foley has gone public a few times this year about considering a break from watching WWE stuff. Those were more of him believing they could still easily fix their current ills or had enough good stuff to keep him interested.

New WWE World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus did a media conference call earlier this afternoon. Below are highlights:

* In regards to pressure and scrutiny on this reign due to top WWE stars being out, Sheamus said he's been in this position before and faced a lot of scrutiny in the past, as a heel and babyface. He said he's been ready to go for a long time, since before winning Money In the Bank. He feels like the last few months he's been waiting and ready to go. He said there's always pressure and he looks forward to that. He's 6 years into his WWE career, at a different point in his career and is a different person. He knows what he's doing now. He knows a lot of top WWE stars are out right now and knows Seth Rollins will be coming back better than ever. Sheamus says he's not going to let the opportunity pass him by and will give it everything he can. He calls it an opportunity of a lifetime and says he's never felt better or more comfortable in his own skin

* He was asked how he prepared for the weekend and asked if they ever thought there might not be a show due to the reports of a potential Islamic State terror attack. He says WWE took the threat very seriously and the talents were kept updated on what was going on. He talks about how the authorities handled everything.

* Sheamus was asked how he celebrated the win last night - a few Monster Milks and a 4.5 hour drive to Nashville. He sat in the locker room for about an hour by himself last night and took it all in before getting in the car to drive to Nashville. He says the era of the Celtic Warrior begins on RAW tonight and he couldn't be happier. He was asked about working with Roman Reigns and possibly Brock Lesnar. He says he'd love that and has been ready to go for a long time. He talks about the WrestleMania match with Daniel Bryan and how Bryan went on to do big things. He was so proud of Bryan for winning the title at WrestleMania. Sheamus says but he knew he needed to switch things up when he returned the last time. He reiterates that he won't let this opportunity pass him by. He names Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Kevin Owens, saying there's a lot of people he's looking forward to facing

Reigns gets booed at tapings, so WWE would like to get fans behind him by having corporate figures screw Reigns over and keep him from winning the title, which would mirror what WWE did with Daniel Bryan a few years ago.

Reigns is viewed in some fans’ eyes as the ‘corporate’ champion already due to being pegged as the next ‘face’ of the company. WWE is hoping fans will be more accepting of Reigns in this role, which they’ve tried to do on TV already, without getting such a negative reaction.

Ended up using Bryan's cash-in at TLC 2011 as the basis for Sheamus' cash-in and possible future plans for Reigns.

Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer reported on Wednesday that all plans for WrestleMania 32 were scrapped by the WWE creative team on Sunday. He says the company had a list of tentative matches for the big event, and they all fell apart for one reason or another. In other words, reports circulating the web on potential matches are just guesses at this point.

“Anyone reporting on a ‘Mania card now is guessing,” Meltzer said on F4WOnline.com. “They had a complete top six matches and everything fell apart. Everything changed again on Sunday.”

We previously reported that John Cena and The Undertaker were being booked in a match for ‘Mania. As far as The Rock goes, right now it’s considered highly unlikely that he will even appear at the show, let alone wrestle at it. WWE is trying to stack WrestleMania 32 with star power to sell out the 100,000+ seat AT&A Stadium.

JR's thoughts on Survivor Series and WWE in general:

- Sheamus is cold, and taking the title off him quickly will mean nothing. Reigns should be kept away from him til WM, and Sheamus needs to go on a tear from now til Mania to have a hope of being a hot heel.

- Doesn't like Reigns' super manpunch/spear combo, they're too similar in set-up, and Reigns hitting the punch then waiting for them to get back up to hit the spear looks foolish. Meltzer suggested he needs a submission finisher with the spear.

- Reigns should have (and Meltzer agreed) turned heel the day after WM 31 and become bitter at everyone.

- Feels Reigns is becoming predictable/repetitive in his late matches with the same set-ups, dangerous for a guy that young to stagnate.

- Titus O Neil has real charisma and needs a bigger role, despite his limitation in the ring. Meltzer suggested he needs a small and very skilled tag partner to complete him instead of Darren Young, similar to Gable and Jordan who have what the other lacks.

- Luke Harper is really underrated.

- Divas butterfly belt needs to go immediately.

- Criticized the commentary but not the commentators, who are just doing what they're told. Meltzer lamented that they do not change intensity as the match ramps up, they have the same tone throughout.

- If Bryan can no longer wrestle, he should be retained as a trainer and producer. Meltzer said Bryan is one of WWE's best for PR situations because he's genuine and not phony.

I like Elias Sampson. Before he was doing this Drifter thing, he was in a tag team match with a partner (I think it may have been Mike Rawlis) against some guys, and his facial expressions were great. I believed him being in there. Could turn into a really great worker.

WWE Hall Of Famer and former NWA World Heavyweight Champion Harley Race had to pull out of Saturday’s WrestleCade IV event in Winston-Salem, NC due to health issues.

WrestlingNews.co has confirmed that Race recently had a 9-inch rod inserted into his back because of spine issues and now he cannot feel his legs. Race is confined to a wheelchair. Race also underwent surgery last year to remove a cyst on his spine.

Kurt Angle confirmed that his final shows with TNA will be the U.K. tour. His plans include trying to break into acting and writing a second autobiography, claiming the WWE was too hands on regarding the first one. He said he will be starting filming in March a movie called "Epidemic." He said he'd like to get into acting and doing comedies and dramas as opposed to action movies. Jeremy Borash was shooting an Angle documentary while both were in the U.K. this past week. Borash also hosted Angle's talk shows that took place there this past week. Angle said he expected this tour would be his last time he would wrestle in the U.K., and if he had his way, he'd like to do a retirement match on the tour against A.J. Styles. He said he was very excited about the prospects going forward with Bellator.
Before anyone gets their hopes up, Rumble happens before the UK tour so very unlikely TNA is going to let him leave prior to the tour.

The site notes that the company’s issues with her regarding that incident largely came from her inferring that Paige was a bully. The company was already upset with her because they believe she leaked her engagement to Rusev online, which forced them to change their onscreen storylines. The source said that calling Paige a bully was ridiculous anyway because she was one of the people who were picked on the most while in NXT.

Might need a new term for Lana's heat since its above nuclear.

The argument that will obviously be used to counter is that people suffering from brain injuries from concussions may not even learn of the problems until decades later. McDevitt's other filing was an argument against opposing attorney Konstantine Kyros' motion to have the lawsuit filed by WWE against a number of former wrestlers including Oreal Perras (Ivan Koloff), Bob Windham (Blackjack Mulligan) and Thomas Billington (Dynamite Kid) thrown out. The WWE sued the four as basically a first move in an attempt, which has been thus far successful, to keep them from joining in on the concussion lawsuits. The Windham deal is a weird one since he's got three grandchildren that work for the promotion. It's one weird business where you work for a company that sues your grandfather who is old and in declining health, not that there's any alternative.

Still some confusion on how much Del Rio is really making from his new deal with Konnan and Mexican sources claiming Del Rio is making at least $1.5 million before any potential bonuses.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has more on WWE’s decision to have Sheamus cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase at Survivor Series, beating Roman Reigns in the process. According to the site, Vince McMahon made the decision on the afternoon of the PPV because the company wants to build Reigns up more as a babyface before giving him an actual run at the belt.
The original plans for the show had Reigns winning and giving him a title run is still the long-term plan. However, because Reigns gets booed at tapings, WWE wants to get fans behind him by pitting him against the Authority as they screw him out of title wins, mirroring what happened with Daniel Bryan. The hope is that this will fight the perception among some fans that Reigns is the “corporate” champion that he’s picked up by being the next face of the company.
This is hilarious if it's true.

Damian Rey 11-29-2015 04:16 PM

They could have just embraced it and turned him heel as the corporate champion ala the Rock many moons ago. I mean, if he's gonna get boo'd might as well use it to get him over.

this. the reason people wont get behind it is because we KNOW the ending is gonna be him with the title as the chosen guy, regardless of how many obstacles they put in front of him. it was organic with Bryan because we know he's not the typical prototype and the fans related to him because of that.

just turn him heel. give us a reason to hate him. turn him and have him destroy ambrose. you could have that austin/rock dynamic with ambrose terrorizing the corporation

Even funnier is supposedly they forgot why Bryan was over with the fans and why that storyline managed to work in the end.

Crowds loved Bryan because they wanted him to be the next mega star and rallied around him as the underdog when it became clear the WWE didn't want that to happen. Reigns has neither going for him at the moment.

They tried it again with Cesaro but gave up a lot quicker due to the WWE being even more stubborn than before and not letting the fans get another win over them.

Damian Rey 11-29-2015 04:53 PM

The other thing with Bryan is that he was white hot over a two year span. The yes chants started and he was able to keep the momentum going with an organic character progression that eventually saw him go over Cena clean with the crowd eating it up.

Reigns has beaten nobody and had zero progression. It was SHIELD breakup, beat Orton, get hurt, win the Rumble, main event, feud with Wyatt, back to the main event. He's exactly the same guy from the breakup through today. Nothing new. Nothing different. It's clear that they want him as the man.

I just don't get what about an effective heel turn that could also help elevate another guy into a main eventer is unappealing to them.

Reigns Ambrose could be an epic feud.
