Finally David Price picked up his 1st W of the season. He hasn't been his usual self this 1st month, going 1-2 with an ERA over 5.00, but hopefully as the weather heats up, he does as well.

We're 6 back. Hopefully we don't wait 'til September to make our run, like the last couple of seasons. Let's begin our climb early, baby.

Don't think I'm going to get tired of Braves/Nats this season. Wish this series could go 5 games so we could get a Minor/Detwiler matchup.

They have those for Wrigley Field too....along with "Fudge Packers" for Green Bay, and "Horry Cow" shirts for Fukudome.

Never got the whole Fukudome thing. Like most Japanese players, solid but not worth the money they throw at them.

Fukudome wasn't in the end. People here thought he was going to be some combo of Ichiro and Matsui for some reason. I just wanted a guy to hit 1 or 2 who would make solid contact, hit 10-12 homers, steal 10-15 bases and play gold glove quality defense. He did that for the first 6 weeks of every season, then fell off the face of the earth offensively. Couldn't hit lefties. Norichica Aoki is basically what I wanted.

Expectation only got bigger after this on his first day:
