Your normal, non-pandering blue font needs to get dropkicked.

Cool King 08-11-2014 09:47 AM

My normal font will be dropkicked, by the support and votes of the people, right here, on TPWW! :y:

I'd appreciate your support as I attempt to win one for the voiceless

If not, that's cool too.

So I guess the Cameron/Naomi feud is over....Couldn't find 3 minutes over the 5 hours of weekly program to continue it?

ron the dial 08-11-2014 04:18 PM

i'm all for divas wrestling and storylines, but i'm ok with less cameron in the ring. would like to see more naomi, however.

Innovator 08-11-2014 04:34 PM

I love that in the G1, AJ's Pele Kick was instant paralysis that led to the Styles Clash

"It's a travesty that the Cameron/Naomi feud got canned", said nobody, ever.

Dirtsheets:

We noted before that TNA has canceled the September 26th live event scheduled for Enid, Oklahoma. They have also canceled the September 27th live event in Salinas, Kansas. TNA noted that an "unforeseen scheduling conflict" caused the dates to be canceled. More canceled events are expected to be confirmed soon.

The final rating for Thursday's Impact with Dixie's much-hyped table spot was a 1.09 rating, barely up from the previous week's 1.05 rating for Destination X. As noted, the show drew 1.41 million viewers, barely up from the previous week.
Quote:

We noted before that TNA's final episode under their current Spike TV contract will be the No Surrender Impact Wrestling on September 25th as the contract expires the last week of September. Word is that TNA may not go off the air immediately as Spike may continue working with them for a little while as they try to find another home.

A new show titled SmackDown Flashback debuts on the WWE Network this week. The first episode premieres today and looks at the network premiere of SmackDown on August 26th, 1999 with The Rock vs. Triple H.

Spike TV wanted to purchased a 10% percentage of TNA Impact Wrestling and move forward as share owners of the business. Dixie Carter would not agree to this deal and it caused the news of the potential end of their working relationship.

The conflict schedule is they have no conflict to schedule

If you have the Network (insert meme here) and you didn't watch the "Summerslam Prelude" special after Raw, go watch it now. It's amazing. It's basically the extended version of the "Blood, urine, and vomit" clip from a week or so ago. It really makes it feel like a super huge match--which it is.

It's a shame they couldn't or didn't port more of it over to Raw.

Mercenary 08-12-2014 01:18 AM

It's a bit too real to be put on "official" WWE programming like Raw. Great show.

Mr. Nerfect 08-12-2014 09:56 AM

Christian is fucking awesome on the panel shows. I would love to see him join a commentary team somewhere. Have Byron Saxton do a talk show on the Network and give Christian Main Event and trial him on SmackDown with Cole and JBL.

Mr. Nerfect 08-12-2014 09:56 AM

Christian would make a great manager too.

Mr. Nerfect 08-12-2014 09:57 AM

William Regal did make a great manager in ECW. He made me care about Ezekiel Jackson.

Mr. Nerfect 08-12-2014 09:58 AM

Jack Swagger is pretty good as a babyface. For a guy who has been a heel for literally his entire WWE career (not sure about FCW though), he has taken to it pretty naturally. When he gets beaten up you feel his passion when he's still fighting. I definitely think he has legs as a babyface, even if the xenophobic American thing needs to be dropped.

Mr. Nerfect 08-12-2014 09:59 AM

It's really weird to imagine Swagger getting two submission wins over Cesaro given how hot Cesaro was earlier this year, and how not Swagger was.

Mr. Nerfect 08-12-2014 10:00 AM

John Cena really tried his best to make me think he's winning at SummerSlam. Good job with that promo on RAW. Love the simple story going around the World Title.

You can almost hear Triple H say "Now you can see Kevin Stevens on the WWE network for just $9.99!"

Hero couldnt stay in shape, you think this fat neckbeard is going to make it?

I give him 9 months of barely being seen on NXT before he is released. Just long enough to kill his indy buzz and long enough that when he comes back he wasted a year of his prime.

While I certainly appreciate you posting dirtsheet highlights, could you please mark NXT spoilers as such? You basically posted who the winners of the NXT Tag Team Championship #1 contenders tournament are, before any tournament matches had aired.
