Had the same problem with Clarke. Linda Hamilton trained her ass off for T2 and when came time to film she looked like a fucking beast. They should have gotten someone who has more of a pedigree in asskicking roles, like Jovovich or Beckinsale.

Really fun movie though. Enjoyed it a lot.

Ted 2 - 7.5/10 I agree wit previous posts about it not being as good as the first, but it was still entertaining and the Liam Neeson scene and The Tick costume killed me.

Raven Reaper 07-04-2015 06:55 AM

Jurassic World - 9/10. Could've been the replacement of Jurassic park 3 instead.

Terminator Genisys - 10/10. I agree with James Cameron's review on it. Emilia is 3rd place as Sarah. Lena Headey could've been better Sarah Connor despite she was quite good in TSCC. As for the Easter egg ending, don't leave the theater just yet.

I Saw the Devil - 8/10

Koreans are fucking crazy.

road doggy dogg 07-08-2015 01:13 AM

Ted 2 - 8/10

Jokes were all very predictable/telegraphed etc.. but it didn't matter. Laughed my ass off. Surprisingly topical/relevant jokes.

SPOILER: show
The Tom Brady stuff was great, love that they put something in about the deflategate crap. The improv scene was fucking glorious

Shisen Kopf 07-08-2015 05:34 AM

I finally saw Dawn of the Planet of the Apes on HBO (yes I have HBO #ballin) and I though it was decent. However, I will give the movie 8.3/10 bc Keri Russell was in the movie from the WB HTD Felicity. She was one of my favs back in the day, after JLH and SMG of course. Shisen fact, my birthday is on the same day as Keri Russell's.

Evil Vito 07-08-2015 09:31 AM

Ted 2: 7.5/10

Felt a bit long for a comedy, was kinda ready to wrap things up way before the movie itself ended. Still a lot of funny stuff though. I echo the sentiments about The Tick being glorious.

Jurassic Park - 7/10 (So much nostalgia)

Blonde Moment 07-08-2015 05:52 PM

Terminator Genisys - 7.5/10
Would have rated higher but the last 5 mins left me feeling meh

road doggy dogg 07-08-2015 10:30 PM

I'm scared to watch it. The general consensus I've heard is "worst than 1 and 2, better than 3 and 4", which is kind of what I expected

Nothing is better than Terminator 2.

I figured that as well... but you know what? The first 10-15 minutes make up for whatever happens after.

Oh I fully agree, I just hope it's like... 60% as good as T2 at least

Damian Rey 07-10-2015 09:07 AM

Never understood why T3 gets the hate it does. I'm a huge terminator fan and while nothing can live up to the originals, I thought the third one was a solid entry in the franchise and 10x better than Salvation.

Sixx 07-10-2015 09:20 AM

Salvation was ok I guess, but didn't feel like a Terminator movie at all.

Housebound 8/10
Kylie Bucknell is forced to return to the house she grew up in when the court places her on home detention. Her punishment is made all the more unbearable by the fact she has to live there with her mother Miriam - a well-intentioned blabbermouth who's convinced that the house is haunted.

Big Hero 6 - 9/10..... good movie.... very "emotional" at times....

Lock Jaw 07-12-2015 02:08 AM

Decided to watch another animated kids movie....

Despicable Me - 8/10.... enjoyed it....

Lock Jaw 07-12-2015 02:12 AM

Recently I finished up watching all the Fast and Furious movies except for 7 which I haven't seen.... I would rank them:

Fast Five
Fast and Furious 6
2 Fast 2 Furious
Fast & Furious (4)
The Fast and the Furious
The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (This is the only one I would classify as bad/terrible)

Sixx 07-12-2015 03:01 PM

Jurassic World - 7.5/10

Very solid, very well made but the dinosaurs don't really do it for me these days. My 10-year old self would surely give it a 10.

road doggy dogg 07-14-2015 11:08 PM

Minions - 10/10

Loved it so muchhhhhhhhhhh

Lock Jaw 07-15-2015 01:42 AM

Watched Despicble Me 2 the other day.... 7.5/10... not as good as the first, but still good.

Kind of want to see Minions, but "kids movies" are the only movies I feel "embarassed" to go to by myself....

road doggy dogg 07-15-2015 08:27 AM

In the words of Sam Witwicky, JUST DO IT

road doggy dogg 07-15-2015 08:28 AM

Also re: Minions

I don't know if it was because I went to a different theater than my usual spot, but I thought the 3D in the movie was the best I've seen in quite some time. Everything looked amazing.

RoXer 07-15-2015 03:34 PM

Jurrasic World - fail.pass

RoXer 07-16-2015 08:05 PM

Leon: The Professional pass.fail

RoXer 07-16-2015 10:29 PM

The Cobbler - pass

whiteyford 07-18-2015 12:32 PM

Ant Man 9/10

Fignuts 07-18-2015 04:46 PM

It Follows- 10/10

Fuck me that was the best horror movie I've seen in a really long time.

Lock Jaw 07-18-2015 10:33 PM

Terminator Genisys 7.5/10 - Dunno... might bump it up. Don't know what to make of it right now. Not a "fan" of it going for setting up a franchise series instead of feeling like a "complete" movie. Danaerys alright as Sarah Connor but not as good as Cersei Lannister.

GD 07-19-2015 01:51 AM

Ant Man - 10/10

Same here. And 2 Easter Eggs made it even worth it.. Esp. after end credits.

ClockShot 07-22-2015 04:00 PM

Mr. Holmes - 3.5/5

Emperor Smeat 07-22-2015 04:56 PM

Guardians of the Galaxy - 4 out of 5

Damian Rey 07-23-2015 12:03 PM

Jurassic World-6/10

It was entertaining but the characters were pretty shallow. That charming Chris Pratt stole the show and watching a greasy Bryce Dallas Howard running around in a tanktop was fun.

Definitely better than the previous two.

GD 07-24-2015 02:50 AM

Trainwreck - 6/10

I had a lot of fun. Cena and LeBrown were top notch.

Watched Furious 7.... I think action-wise it is probably the "most ridiculous" for sure... I'd place it above 6, not sure if I'd put it above 5 or not....

Sequels not gonna be the same without Paul Walker.... RIP....

Irrational Man (2015) - 8/10

New Woody Allen movie

Really liked... was sweet...

<333 Joaquin Phoenix... seems so "anguished" in like every role... and Emma Stone was good also
