Finally, there seems to be some light at the end of a long tunnel. Though still a rumor, new evidence is suggesting that we may see Marvel vs Capcom 2 reappearing in the future.

Hint number 1:

• Marvel vs Capcom 2
• Game version: TBA, DC as fallback.
• Game Settings: Turbo 1, Damage 2, 2/3 Games
• You may not use any glitch that prevent the game from being played. This includes game freezing, game resetting, player freezing, etc.
• Deadbody infinites are allowed to gain a positional advantage, but not to delay the game.
• Winner must keep same starting character, but can switch the order of assists.
• Winner may not use the "Switch Glitch" to have a different starting character.
• You may not use the same character twice on one team.

Originally, the game was labeled as PS3 and Dreamcast.

SF4, but there will be a 'hype period' for MvC2 that I will certainly ride for a time. But new games beat out re-releases in the long run.

I only have the bottom 8 left for the "Storied Reputatuin" achievement. I don't know how I'll beat Seth with Dan or El Fuerte.

I lost 8-0 to Kalyx last night. I was just off the whole time as Kalyx could probably tell when I kept jumping into his attacks for some reason.

I know you were saying something between fights Kalyx but the music completely drowns you out. I only heard the most faint mumbles. Also, sorry for the bad connection. My connection has been fluctuating wildly the last few days. Some times everyone is "one bar" an hour later I'm getting excellent connections. Not just with the 360, the PC to.

Yeah the connection was poor, but still playable.

I was telling you to use less scripted patterns and read your opponent, not the character, the person you're playing against.

I took your advice and managed to win 8 ranked matches in a row. Got an acheivment for winning 5 matches in a row and managed to break through to just over 1000BP.

Akuma is still my boy. I can't be Fei Long for the life of me and it pisses me off. I don't know if it's his flying kicks motion or lack of jumping front kick but something makes me play horribly with him.

I'm trying real bad to get good with El Fuerte. I think I need to start spamming the shit out of his run though.

Also, when Gen switches styles, does he have a complete different move set? I haven't figured that out.

I dunno about gen's normals, but his specials change. I think his super and ultra remains the same tho.

I think I should use Vega more. Was getting owned by this guy, and then I picked vega, and not only beat him a few times in a row, but I got a perfect as well.

All of Gen's normals and specials change when he switches styles.

Does no one ever at least try out characters that they aren't regular users of? I like to try everyone out first and see what can be done.

Nice. You'll soon find that people are pretty easy to read. Then you're new problem would be to get around bad match-ups and wacky priority traps.

Was finally able to take it to roxer today. Was even able to beat his akuma, although I had to break out my sagat to pull it off. Mad props to roxer, as I wouldn't be celebrating like this if he wasn't really good.

Strangly, I have become a fan of charge characters, who I was never very good with in the past. Always been more of a shoto-motion type guy. But my Vega, Bison, Balrog and Blanka are all pretty good, and my honda has become ridiculously tight. Havn't even touched guile or chun-li. I'll be working on them next after I improve my blanka and balrog, as they are kinda bare bones atm.

Also, definitely something up with my controller or something, cause I'm still having problems blocking sweeps, despite holding the stick down+back well before it even starts.

Funky could at least respond back when I messege him next time.

Anyway yeah, all 4 of us were online so I figures we could start a party and 2 could play the other 2 with the winners moving on BUT NO ONE RESPONDED. Let's try and do that tomorrow if possible.

ALso, Fignuts, there was still some lag but uh...whatever...:shifty:

Everything was fine for me until the akuma sagat match. First one was practically unplayable, but second one was manageable. Dunno. Guess the internet doesn't like people picking Sagat.

Are there no player rooms like HD Remix or something.
