Almost as shocked about this as I was about Undertaker's streak being broken honestly

Time for the internet to complain that Cena got completely buried?

Let's just pray to god the rumors aren't true and it goes to Reigns

road doggy dogg 08-17-2014 10:55 PM

that was great

Actually excited to see where they go with this, what with his limited schedule etc

Droford 08-17-2014 10:55 PM

wwe could take this opportunity to show vintage lesnar stuff..but its RVD..yeah

KaosDarksol 08-17-2014 10:55 PM

At least when the Rock won it he defended it at every ppv until he lost, which was only 2, but I don't want to see a bunch of ppvs where the WWE title isn't defended because Brock Lesnar isn't working those dates. He really needs to lose it at Night of Champions.

Wishbone 08-17-2014 10:56 PM

Well it's been a pleasure watching Superman get raped by a gorilla with you, gentlemen.

Easy explanation: No one wants to get fucking murdered by Brock Lesnar.

He beat the shit out of Superman for twenty minutes and barely got scratched. You think Kofi Kingston or Dolph Ziggler want any of that action?

Jura 08-17-2014 10:57 PM

Time to build up Cesaro again.

Lock Jaw 08-17-2014 10:57 PM

Yeah, wondering how they are going to work this now.

Maybe all the cuts were to make room for Brock Lesnar's salary to be there every month. :shifty:

Shadrick 08-17-2014 10:57 PM

Cena getting destroyed does well for him. It's new. I'd like to see what it does to his character (and hopefully he isn't unphased, like when he lost to Rock the first time).

Volare 08-17-2014 10:57 PM

Superubermegaultrafuckingheel Brock Lesnar.

My roommate even watched.

He's got enough dates I think to show up to each PPV. Not much else, but each PPV should be doable. I mean that's what, 6 or 7 till 'mania?

Nobody wants to wrestle Brock so HHH has to get his hands dirty

hope you all did too! :)

Droford 08-17-2014 11:00 PM

Also, if Brock is the Champion at RR, everyone eliminates themself and #30 automatically wins

I don't think he has been working that many dates already, and it will be hard to build up any proper feud with him not being on raw.

WWE better have a serious undercard built up. I know I won't be renewing my network subscription until I see a good card built for Night of Champions

Evil Vito 08-17-2014 11:00 PM

What a fucking great show top to bottom. Kudos to WWE.

So if Bryan didn't get injured and still had the belt, would you have applauded this same booking of the match? Or is it just because everyone wanted to see Cena get destroyed...

In a way, I almost would have rather seen the quick ending with that 1st F5. It would have made the rematch epic. My guess, no rematch now.

Innovator 08-17-2014 11:01 PM

So. Erect.

On the plus side there were so many german suplexes I thought it may have been a Chris Benoit match

gonna have to update the 2nd stream experience bumper

I Love you P̶e̶n̶n̶y̶ Cena.

Pretty amazing PPV, made me renew my network subscription as well.

Not even close to a fair comparison. Don't try and be a cool anti-IWC guy by pretending it is.

Cena has been booked as unbeatable and unstoppable for most of a decade. No matter how much punishment he takes, he never stays down for long.

Bryan was always booked as an underdog and barely scraping by.

Cena taking an almost uncomfortable beating is different and meaningful. I love Daniel Bryan, but if Brock Lesnar came out and beat the shit out of Bryan for 20 minutes, it would have felt like a Raw match and wouldn't have meant shit because forty other guys did it this year. Brock has insane momentum and buzz because he dismantled the one man that for the better part of a decade hasn't been put down cleanly, let alone absolutely demolished, by basically any one.

Lock Jaw 08-17-2014 11:07 PM

Thinking about Kurt Angle vs Brock Lesnar right now..... back in the day they were great rivals, and presented as kind of peers....

If Kurt were to come back today, it would just seem like he was outclassed by Lesnar in every way and wasn't a credible opponent.

Dark One 08-17-2014 11:07 PM

Now that the beating is over, time to go back through and rep some of you magnificent bastards.

Lock Jaw 08-17-2014 11:10 PM

Pumping Brock Lesnar's theme right now and bouncing up and down
