In the first round I started it a sec or 2 too soon but in that 2nd round against RoXers Vega, you all saw I pulled of the Siberian Blizzard right next to him and it didn't connect. Like I said before:

Because you live far away and the lag goes to the spectators. By the time we're in the lobby, you're getting the last 5 seconds which they'll kick you from to get you to the lobby.

I don't get it. If you are in the air you absolutley should not be able to jump over the second you land. I've caught so many people that way with a fireball trap and they just hold up and jump over it.
I don't mind getting attacked from the air. (Well, I do but I won't bitch about it. Abel can absorb 1 hit, why can't Akuma?) What pisses me off is I enter it at the highest point of the arc and they're stilll able to hold up to get past it. Or I push them all the way across the screen to leave me vulnerable for a few frames. That's always fun. |
It would be interesting to give it armor status while he's floating to you, perhaps for the Ultra version, at least. Maybe add a vacuum within a certain range like that fatass' spinning bullshit. During my tenure with Akuma through the years I caught more than a few people regularly but I can't comment on this game as I've retired his ass when SF4 came out (for unrelated reasons).
All in all, you should probably accept a Sakura beating as 'just another day', and not get frustrated over your character's moves. GOT IT, BUB? |

Meaty attacks are done when an opponent's getting up. You start an attack early, often a low kick, so when they get up they have to block the attack or eat it - which you would then combo into. In SSF4 the reversal window is really large, though, as in performing a special withing a few frames of getting on your feet gives you invincible start-up frames (English: Ken's wake-up shoryuken that goes through your attacks). In SSF4 it's a large window, so meaty attacks are risky.
Since people bait reversals now, some started to get up slow and hold back, which makes meaty attacks viable again. My last few matches tonight had a lot of meaty attacks, particularly against Drakul when he used Hakan. I did some on Alva's last match as well. |

When Street Fighter Alpha 3, with it's impressive roster, got ported to a handheld... it got four more fighters on top. We're talking a PSP then. 3DS could handle the whole roster.

Well, SSFIV is 5.9gb on the 360. If they can down grade and/or remove unimportant stuff like the arcade videos and compressed it all, could they fit a 5.9gb game into a 2gb space?
If they added an extra character or two, that would give us DLC for the console version. Given that they have talked about doing DLC maybe we will get new characters. |
It's easy, over half that space is HD textures. Downsize the 1080 resolution textures to 240 and job pretty much done.

i dont really care...i still think 'Gief is a cheap tank character who deals mass and doesnt receive it, but if he wants to ride that character till the wheels fall off thats entirely up to him.

Alvarado, you should definitly try to mix up that change of direction move by doing the low attacks. And don't do all 3 all the time. And cancel his ultra if you can't connect.
