Lil bit of A lil bit of B.

He definitely had the momentum from the jump turning him and causing him to go down a bit faster than usual, but there definitely is a momentary "catch".

In reading any results from any site, it makes it sound like more of a feat tho.

Ol Dirty Dastard 07-18-2023 09:28 AM

Yeah I think that’s my issue. He did really well to make the spot work but I wouldn’t say it was like a full on catch. But it’s wrestling so I guess you have to exaggerate.

Dirty Dom is the NXT NA Champion

Supreme Olajuwon 07-24-2023 11:05 PM

Watched Raw tonight for the first time in a while. Judgment Day kinda rules now? Really good despicable heel faction.

Helmsphere 07-24-2023 11:07 PM

It was a rough start, but they found there groove when Dom got a Mami

Supreme Olajuwon 07-24-2023 11:15 PM

Dom and Rhea have been an amazing gimmick for a while. But for the most part it was a funny joke. Now they’ve made the group look legitimate. And that’s awesome.

Supreme Olajuwon 07-24-2023 11:17 PM

Priest not cashing in on an injured Rollins so Balor could have his match at Summerslam was beautiful

Sepholio 07-25-2023 01:16 AM

Knowing WWE I was surprised when they didn't have Priest try a cash in, or at least heavily tease it. Pleasantly surprised.

Feel like Finn is gonna beat Seth for the title and Priest is going to tease a cash in on Finn right then and there before deciding against it and helping him up.

Helmsphere 07-25-2023 02:27 AM

Wouldn't be surprised if Balor beats Finn, then Priest cashes in on Roman. The Bloodline ruled the WWE for the past few years and now that it has imploded Judgement Day picks up the pieces, they can spend months leading to Survivor Series of Roman trying to mend the fences with the Usos.

Yup. They’re transitioning from The Bloodline being the dominant stable to The Judgment Day. Probably gonna keep slowly shuffling all those pieces around and have them fall in place at WM 40.

Sepholio 07-31-2023 10:50 PM

I hope now that AJ is back that they start building up the OC to compete with Judgement Day at some point. Finn vs AJ factions would be fun and I like when AJ is a face better. I find it hard to boo him.

Sepholio 07-31-2023 10:52 PM

Imaging Balor becoming champ and after a few months we have an OC vs JD feud going on when Damian finally decides to cash in on Finn and AJ and the OC end up saving him at some point and starting a redemption arc for Finn.

erickman 08-28-2023 08:35 PM

miz doing LA knight is funny as hell

xrodmuc316 08-28-2023 09:50 PM

Miz is gold

Lock Jaw 08-29-2023 12:03 AM

Wish they still had Miz as mixed up in the IC/US title scene instead of glorified jobber. Dude is so talented. Only thing he has working against him really is just how long he has been there. So even though he would have been like 100x better, they will push Austin Theory with a long title reign over Miz just because it is "fresh"....

Helmsphere 08-29-2023 12:24 AM

It's hard to believe Miz was champion just like 4 champions ago.

drave 08-30-2023 11:01 AM

Miz has always been solid. Always said that. He could be one of their best heels, seriously.

Lock Jaw 08-30-2023 01:03 PM

He is already one of their best heels.

drave 08-30-2023 01:38 PM

Glorified Jobber - whatever.

If he is one of their best heels, he, IMO, should be prominently featured. He easily outdoes anyone in that current role.

XL 09-26-2023 04:37 PM

Is this the Raw mega-thread?

Are we getting Judgment Day (w/ JD McDonut) vs Owens/Zayn/Cody/Jey in WAAAAARRRRRR GAAAAAAAMES?

Yeah probably, trying to remember if Cody was ever in Blood and Guts. If not, this might be his first time in a Wargames match

Mr. Nerfect 09-27-2023 02:30 AM

I don’t like War Games being at Survivor Series. Do an elimination match at Survivor Series and War Games somewhere else.

xrodmuc316 10-02-2023 08:55 PM

Vince is definitely back, got a rename! Bronson Reed is now "BIG" Bronson Reed!!!!

Mr. Nerfect 10-02-2023 11:36 PM

He’s been that for a while, no? If Vince was back proper, Big Bronson would be fired.

Big Bearcat Bronson Reed

I still say they're gonna shorten his name to just "Reed" and give yet another guy the Bronson name. Or woman.

Jade Cargill-Bronson. And she'll feud with another newcomer, Kasandra Octavius (because it's another K.O. name, see?)

Tom Guycott 10-03-2023 12:15 AM

No, wait... TESSIE KASANDRA OCTAVIUS! Because TKO, the new company! Eh!? Ehhhh?!?

This seems like one of those things where the message gets lost because you didn't like the choice of words.

He wasn't calling Miz a glorified jobber, he's saying that's how WWE is using him. Which carries merit.

Seriously, any recent Miz feud has been the following: Miz gets offended that he isn't the focus anymore against [insert protagonist here]. He has a promo joust for a few weeks. He does a sneak attack during one of them to come out on top. He loses the match - and thus, the feud - against [insert protagonist here]. Lather. Rinse. Repeat.

He's at a point where it isn't like the losses exactly hurt him, but at the same time, he's in "you know where this is going" territory. It's formulaic. Wins and possibly some sort of title run would even freshen that up a bit.

Now that's money!

Mr. Nerfect 10-03-2023 04:39 AM

As down as I am on the whole vibe of Raw right now, I approve of Ciampa & Gargano getting back together as a team. It’s the best they’ve ever been. Gunther beating both for the IC Title should be glorious too.

feels like a face turn for rhea is kind of inevitable, big pop for her when she ran out to beat on nia jax

like obviously nia is awful and people will pop for anyone over her so it was at least partly a lesser-of-two-evils pop but still, feels a little like that early era of the rock, where she's supposed to be a bad guy but people can't help but love her because she's so good

also looking forward to nakamura presumably finally winning the title only to have damian priest cash in immediately. that'll be super cool and not incredibly shitty booking

Mr. Nerfect 10-06-2023 03:23 PM

I think there’s a good chance of Nakamura winning because of the new Japan deal. Hopefully they hold off on any sort of cash-in. I could see Judgment Day trying to target Naks forcing him to make his own team of guys.

mitchables 10-08-2023 09:13 PM

the actual result was worse than i expected

it feels like the vince-iest shit ever that gable (who is great and frankly deserves the title) and ricochet (who is also fine and a good worker but evokes nothing within me)--who have both been in the IC mix of late and have a legitimate claim to taking the belt off gunther--suddenly have to do the job to BIG BRONSON REED, whose entire thing is that he is big

idk after the world title result at fastlane it feels like this outcome is both entirely expected and woefully disappointing
