Still, these guys have moxie. I like that kind of creative honesty.

Why are they hulk-size? Seriously, Cena's chest is so massive and his head is so small....what the hell?

WWE STEROIDS: The Game
There should be a career mode where there are mini games of buying roids secretly, convincing someone to give you their clean piss and interrogation scenes about whether you've taken roids or not. |

I guess its probably not as powerful or a setup to a finisher even with the decent effects. |
The muscle exaggerations in this are absurd, even for WWE. I can't remember them ever being that bad in any old games or merchandise, and it's always been pretty bad.
Not sure how they can claim not to be perpetuating that ridiculous image while releasing something like this at this stage in the game. Don't really care, but it's funny. |
They had figures at one point with pretty ridiculous muscles. I remember Austin being in it. Tiny head, huge body. Can't find a picture, though. Can't remember the line. I think it only had one series.
Nah, not ring giants, but those are in the running for ridiculous muscles. These were around in the late 90s, possibly early 2000s.
http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g1...52_figure1.gif Kinda like this but more exaggerated. |
lmao, sweating action figures. Nice.

what do the designers of this game have against necks?
This game looks just too ridiculous for words. What's next, WWE Rock 'Em-Sock 'Em Robots?

So basically for this game they are just sticking different model heads on the body of Scott Steiner........
IMO the game looks like crap.....
As a wrestling game, this looks awful.
As an arcade beat-em-up game, this looks awful. As a game that'll cater to little kids, selling millions and giving WWE the idea they're onto a winning formula, this looks awful. |
OMG. Fail.

That's Rob Terry.
I just want a wrestling game that allows me to ride a horse, shoot old-timey prostitutes and rustle cattle.

I will probably play this because I'm sick of the same SvR engine that has been around since 1999
Good god that looks awfull.
I'll play a demo when it's out. Hopefully it's more WrestleMania: The Arcade Game than it is WWE Legends.
Thought they were trying to get away from that steroid image though. |
Will probably buy used. Doubt I'd pay 60 bucks for this but 30 or under would be ok.
MadKatz are doing FightSticks and Pads for this. Might pick one up if they're a decent price.
Whaaaa? Why?
LOL
Why not?
Hey man, people can play with whatever control instruments they want.
Like, are they gonna be on par with street fighter and tekken sticks? Can't see a need for this, honestly.
I presume they're just going to be reskinned SF4 sticks/pads since they made those as well. Like the standard stick which is good enough for most, doubt they'll do a TE stick for it.
