I see them holding off the UK until October, probably to offset whatever losses/churn there is from the 6 month renewals.

Cool King 08-01-2014 03:00 PM

Cesaro's theme has been updated, it seems.

XL 08-01-2014 03:02 PM

It says it'll be October for the UK.

Lock Jaw 08-01-2014 03:02 PM

Sure, why not make it even more terrible?

Cool King 08-01-2014 03:03 PM

Before, the theme reminded me of Perry Saturn's.

Now, the theme reminds me of Owen Hart's.

Big Vic 08-01-2014 03:21 PM

cool but outdated

Wrestlers with the most world heavyweight championships

Ric Flair (22-time champion, retired)
  • 10 NWA championships
  • 8 WCW championships
  • 2 WWE championships
  • 2 WCW International championships
Which of these make Flair a “sixteen-time world champion” is a matter of endless debate. Basically WCW lost count in the early 1990s and WWE just used their number.
Sting (14-time champion)
  • 2 NWA championships
  • 6 WCW championships
  • 2 WCW International championships
  • 4 TNA championships
The WCW International title is not commonly acknowledged as a “real” world title, but I’m including for the sake of completeness.
Triple H (13-time champion, semi-retired)
  • 8 WWE championships
  • 5 World championships
John Cena (12-time champion)
  • 10 WWE championships
  • 2 World championships
Of the guys on this list, I think Cena is the most likely to approach Flair’s record before the end of his career.
Hulk Hogan (12-time champion, retired)
  • 6 WWE championships
  • 6 WCW championships
Edge (11-time champion, retired)
  • 4 WWE championships
  • 7 World championships
Jeff Jarrett (11-time champion)
  • 4 WCW championships
  • 6 NWA championships
  • 1 AAA championship
Kurt Angle (11-time champion)
  • 4 WWE championships
  • 1 WCW championship
  • 1 World championship
  • 5 TNA championships
At times, Angle has claimed a higher count by including his 1995 FILA gold medal, his 1996 Olympic gold medal, and a disputed version of the IWGP title.
Verne Gagne (10-time champion, retired)
  • 10 AWA championships
The Rock (10-time champion, semi-retired)
  • 8 WWE championships
  • 2 WCW championships
Randy Orton (9-time champion)
  • 6 WWE championships
  • 3 World championships

The logo on the front of Reigns' T-Shirts, reminds me of something you would see from the world of Spider-Man.

Lock Jaw 08-01-2014 03:32 PM

What the hell is UNSTARLE

SlickyTrickyDamon 08-01-2014 03:33 PM

Brie Mode hahaaha. A shirt based on the fact that Brie turns into an idiot when she drinks.

Don't we all?

drave 08-01-2014 03:38 PM

Ambrose shirt is awesome. Cesaro's theme fucking sounds dumb as hell with bobby sirens instead of a fucking air raid (which implies MORE of a danger).

Ugh.

And have some god damned courtesy for posters with shitty PC's /connections by not quoting unnecessary LARGE graphics over and over. Loads fine for me, but others may be bothered.

Lock Jaw 08-01-2014 03:45 PM

Oh, I get it, it says UNSTABLE.

Droford 08-01-2014 03:45 PM

TNA should rebrand as DLW Dixie Land Wrestling

Lock Jaw 08-01-2014 03:46 PM

The Roman Reigns logo reminds me too much of the Hardy Boyz logo.

Droford 08-01-2014 04:04 PM

Hardy's/Wolves from impact was probably the best tag match this year that I've seen.

Cool King 08-01-2014 04:50 PM

Rollins' theme also got a slight update too.

Lol ok so I watched the Timeline 1992 Bret Hart. Ugh, Bret needs to let go. Nothing is ever his fault, everyonebwas against him etc.....

Savio 08-01-2014 10:03 PM

Bret was the biggest mark for himself

Mr. Nerfect 08-01-2014 10:06 PM

Why the fuck can't they leave Cesaro's theme alone? Why not just give him back the Dean Malenko remix one?

That's slik's gimmick. He should sue TNA.

A WWE spokesman told CNN Money that the job cuts will impact all of WWE's business units and locations. The spokesman confirmed that the employees were let go on Thursday. They also confirmed that about 60 jobs were lost as WWE's headcount is around 850 people.
Quote:

WWE today released five NXT developmental talents. Released were Garett Dylan, Travis Tyler, Slate Randall, Mac Miles and Dani Jax.
Quote:

In the wake of yesterday's announcement of WWE's 10 year deal with Rogers in Canada, I have heard from a lot of people that are very leery about how it will all play out in the country with Rogers controlling the rights to the Network. WWE has said that Rogers will be the conduit to other providers in the nation, which concerns some people there due to the animosity that exists between some of the companies. The network will be a TV only product, though Rogers does indeed have an app so The Network will most likely be available for people who pay for the broadcast version to be able to stream on devices.
Quote:

At the NXT tapings, Triple H announced that the next live special on the WWE Network will be on September 11th. The NXT and Women's titles will be defended and the winner of the Number One contender tournament will face the Ascension. Hunter also announced that there will be a new NXT GM.

Vince Russo posted his Impact review on the VIP section of his website, Pyro & Ballyhoo. During the podcast, Russo admitted to being a consultant for TNA since October 24, 2013. He said that he reviewed their shows and was given additional responsibilities, including producing commentary. He said that he will explain the situation more over time.

Tito Ortiz will be returning to Impact Wrestling. "I'm actually returning August or September," Ortiz told Cageside Seats. "I'll be coming back to TNA and doing some stuff. It's in the works with Dixie. She reached out to me and I'm a big wrestling fan. I've been a wrestling fan since Junkyard Dog! We have some ideas."

Savio 08-02-2014 12:36 AM

So I can't blame Russo for that stupid Chris Sabin TNA Champ fiasco?

MikeyMike 08-02-2014 06:38 AM

Garrett Dylan got released again? Didn't they only just bring him back?

Pointless trivia fact: WCW Accidentally showed Cactus Jack as an entrant into the Georgia Brawl during Clash XVI. Which is notable for 2 reasons.

1. He wasn't in the Brawl.
2. Jack hadn't actually made his formal return yet (he would show up to jump Sting later in the card.

Also, Clash XVI was the best major event to ever take place in Augusta, GA.
