Maybe they should redo the old Stone Cold/Kurt Angle/Mr McMahon story of fighting over who gets hug the boss, only updated to who gets to suck Tony Khan's dick longer, Jericho or Hardy. |
I’ve seen some of Keith Lee’s promos from nxt. He comes off as very articulate and isn’t a traditional good promo but idk where this idea that he can’t promo comes from. He’s comfortable and sounds natural. And he’s unique how his talks. What’s the problem there?
Racism. We have preconceived notions of what a “black dude” should sound like. Lee goes out of his way to not fulfil that stereotype. We can’t cope with it.
fits in line
Racism is how Tony Khan books some of "certain" wrestlers, and how he buried Big Swole. Racism is how Tony Khan just swaps black wrestlers in and out like nobody would notice, Remember when he replaced Lio Rush with Jay Lethal, because they are all the same to Tony.

Cannot wait for Gail Kim to debut tonight and advance in the tourney to face Sammy G
Hoping for Keith Lee though and maybe Swerve Scott (sorry Gail!!)
swerve :y:

Keith Lee describing himself as an “intellectual” on his Twitter page is like a woman having a gimmick where she’s rubbing a college degree in people’s faces like it’s some surreal achievement. Yeah, black men can be intelligent. No shit. It doesn’t mean you have to act like a total toss putting weird inflections on things to “subvert” the idea that you’re supposed to be in a business where you fight for your money. There are plenty of black wrestlers who can talk articulately and still cut good promos in a wrestling context because they get where they are and what their goal actually is. If the dude was really smart, he’d put that intelligence into not sucking as a wrestler to the point he got fired despite allegedly being such a progressive fucking hire. Glad we’ve FINALLY got a smart black man in wrestling. Fuck all that noise. |
Wow, that’s racist.
Maybe we should make two Dynamite threads tonight. One for racists and one for non racists.
I’ll be in the non racist one, thanks.
Gonna be pretty funny when it ends up being white ass Will Ospreay showing up.
I feel like we're getting more than one surprise tonight tbh
Could definitely see them doing the double debut again. The Brodie/Hardy and Cole/Danielson double debuts were a lot of fun.
Can't wait for Rockstar Spud to debut tonight!

Lol if it turns out to be Swerve and it’s a disappointment on purpose.
I also think they’re going to do more than one person now. They kind of forced themselves into that position. |
I was see Ospreay after Omega makes it back.
Jeff Hardy and Keith Lee would be fun I think. |
What would you do if it was JOHN CENA!!!?

I’m right about most things.
I just can’t believe Keith Lee is supposed to “change everything.” Holy shit.

Double debut. Awesome on both counts.
Hyped for Keith Lee… imagine how he’s gonna rag doll Sammy and Darby. |
Just wanna say that bit where Matt Hardy walked out through the crowd and they said his behavior was erratic or whatever? That was pathetic. That's the kind of stuff that makes AEW annoying to me.
Somewhere in Florida Paul Wight has pulled Keith Lee into a private area to discuss "the proper way for a big man to move" in a match.
Thinking about Jay White right now. Matt Jackson made sure to remind Adam Cole and us that White is/was arch rivals with Kenny, furthering the gap between Cole and Omega that had already been established. Clearly Cole/Kenny is the ultimate goal. More on that in a moment.
So the appearance of Jay White is interesting because it unbalanced the odds. Before Jay, we were pretty clear to see a 6-Man program between the Elite. Omega & The Bucks vs O'Reilly, Fish & Cole. This whole story may even be getting the label of The Elite vs The Bullet Club. There is another name out there beyond the door that can be of interest here. I am seeing a Revolution PPV where we see Kenny return to action against Jay White and Adam Cole challenging Hangman Page for the AEW Championship. If Cole, White, Fish & O'Reilly were a "Bullet Club" alliance there is one more spot on The Elite to even the odds. I wouldn't go with Cutler, how about Tama Tonga? He's been the leader of The Bullet Club for a while, you could have Kenny bring him aboard and what a difference that would make for them huh? His ultra intense promo style and his ring work is 100% different than the rest of The Elite. That way we could keep the faction war going until the next PPV and do a Stadium Stampede with The Elite (Omega, Tonga & The Bucks) vs The Bullet Club (Cole, O'Reilly, Fish & White). Back to the ultimate goal of Kenny vs Cole. I think this could easily be an AEW Championship match with Cole taking the belt from Hangman but that isn't a lock obviously. I could even see a play where Cole gets attacked by a debuting Tama Tonga during his match with Hangman to lose his chance at gold, thus fueling this proposed Stadium Stampede I've come up with. |
That sounds like a pretty good undercard to whatever Keith Lee is doing in the main event.
Glad Tony hyped this so much…
Flair to WWE Hall/Nash to WCW And now, bah gawd, White/Lee to AEW. The business has been shaken and I, for one, and glad that Tony made sure I didn’t miss a thing! |

Hope Keith Lee can "drop a few lbs" so it would be easier for him to be more agile... Seems like he's gotten way bigger
