If you're referencing his wealth via his WWE theme lyrics (of all things), I think
Quote:

"Me on the other hand,/I can blow 100 stacks/and bounce back rubber-band/30 karats here/100 on the other hand"
would be a couple of more apt lines from it to quote...

An awesome NXT angle would be if William Regal and Tajiri had a bit of a backstage bet to see which of them could get the better rookies under their wing. Just throwing that out there.

#1-norm-fan 01-31-2014 08:19 PM

I feel like WWE could have done a better job exploiting Darren Young's gayness.

The first Raw after the TMZ interview, they instantly turned them face and had them get a win while the crowd was suddenly pretty hot for them. And after that they pretty much fell back into obscurity. I'm not saying they should have pushed Darren Young to the moon or anything but at that moment, he became a name that had mainstream relevance. I feel like they could have rode that wave to actually getting both guys quite over.

I dunno. I've never really been too impressed with Darren Young. I feel like he could be more than what he is, but not too much more. I hate to be that cynical. Titus O'Neil, however, has gone from being a guy I thought of as awkward and clunky to being pretty damn awesome.

Dirtsheets (All from F4W):

Quote:

WWE officials were initially disappointed with the reaction that Batista got for his return but when the ratings came in and they were high, officials decided that it wasn't Batista's fault. They blamed it on the fans in Dayton, Ohio. The feeling now is that Dayton won't be getting a pay-per-view anytime soon.
Quote:

The split between Cody Rhodes and Goldust may come at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view where a tag team title match is expected. There are plans for Cody vs. Goldust at WrestleMania XXX this year. Goldust was originally signed as a talent through WrestleMania XXX but his deal has been extended through SummerSlam. Once that deal expires, it's expected he will become an agent backstage.
Quote:

As noted, last week's RAW was re-written because of the CM Punk situation. In order to keep fans from hijacking the show for Daniel Bryan like they did at the Royal Rumble the night before, WWE had Bryan cut an in-ring promo which he originally wasn't scheduled to do.

Regarding the reaction at the Royal Rumble, Randy Orton reportedly was irate backstage after the crowd hijacked his match with John Cena.
Quote:

With the drama that has unfolded within WWE in the past week, WWE creative is now looking at several different options for WrestleMania XXX. The first is a Daniel Bryan vs. Triple H match with possibly the stipulation that Bryan gets a WWE World Heavyweight Title shot at Extreme Rules in Seattle. If Bryan ends up working Triple H at WrestleMania, they may put Sheamus in a match with Kane. John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt and Batista vs. Randy Orton would still happen.

Another option is John Cena vs. Triple H, Sheamus vs. Bray Wyatt and Orton vs. Batista vs. Bryan in a three-way for the belt. The other option they are looking at is Sheamus vs. Triple H, Cena vs. Wyatt and Bryan vs. Orton vs. Batista in a three-way.

Word within WWE is that nobody has heard back from CM Punk after they've reached out to him via phone calls and text messages. The belief is that Punk is keeping to himself, except for people in his inner circle, and that circle isn't going to talk about the situation.

We noted on Sunday that there were major WrestleMania XXX creative meetings held this past week and the only thing now considered a lock is Bray Wyatt vs. John Cena. There has been a lot of back and forth discussion over Brock Lesnar's WrestleMania XXX role. The original plan was for Lesnar to face The Undertaker, as noted. That may or may not be the plan still but there could be something to Batista vs. Lesnar being teased on RAW last week.

During the tapings in Glasgow, Scotland this past week, an angle was shot where Angle was beat down with steel chairs, which appeared to be where he was written out of the storylines. The next day in Manchester, Angle was told by TNA creative writers that he was scheduled to run-in during a segment. Angle flipped out because he had already been written out of the storylines and because he was working despite doctor’s orders not to. John Gaburick was said to have been on the wrong end of Angle’s rant and in the end, Angle did not work that taping in Manchester.

Angle did his Hall of Fame induction the next day in London and got into it with Ethan Carter III, leading to a Lockdown match between the two, as we have noted before. It appears TNA is expecting Angle to gut through the Lockdown pay-per-view without having surgery.

It was announced at WWE's live event in Kansas City, MO that John Cena was injured and wouldn't be there. Cena was slated to face WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton in the main event. Bryan wins the Chamber, Batista already won the Rumble, Lesnar simply bullies his way into the match by wreaking havoc on the entire roster. Seems easy.
