The animated movie is not naff in the least.

Well, all the live action ones are. No amount of Megan Fox bending over cars/whatever or that other one pouting her lips can lift any of those abominations.

See, should stick to cartoons.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 - fail/pass.pass

In The Blood - Could've been a sequel to Haywire but it was all kinds of kick-ass style over storyline substance. The only twist of good wife vs bad guys, . I guess that's how it was titled that way. 5/10.

Afflicted - REC meets Chronicle is what you get for this movie. The twist: Twas good though. 6/10.

Amazing Spider-Man 2 -More of the same and Electro looks like Palpatine and Manhattan's bastard lovechild. Didn't expect of what happens to Gwen in the final moments.. Another roller coaster action packed superhero flick you'd expect to enjoy this summer. 7/10.

Big Trouble in Little China: 6.5/10

Was expecting more from it. I dunno. Was ok. Dolph Ziggler seems a lot taller in this movie than he does on TV now.

Bad Neighbours - 9/10

Seth Rogan and Rose Byrne had great chemistry. Fucking hilarious film.

The Amazing Spider-man 2: 6/10

The cast was awesome and I've been enjoying the fact that Peter Parker has the quipy attitude back - but now all the origin stories and such are pretty fucked up, you see some emotional stuff then immediately go to happy time, and it was just all around everywhere.

However, the effects were good, it did feel comic book-y, and I really dug the music.
It was fun, but fuckin' nuts if you were looking for something to match the marvel universe.

Instructions not Included-8.5/10-Was not expected much, but it's a pretty damn good movie. Gets you right in the "feels" though at points.

Piranha 3DD-.5/10-Absolute shit. The .5 is only because of the Hoff.

House of Tolerance - Good french movie about a whorehouse at the turn of the 20th century. Pretty plotless, just deals with the day to day stuff the women go through: syphilis, mutilations, hygiene, camaraderie, etc etc. Had some good scenes involving a black panther, tears of cum, and a melancholic dance sequence to an anachronistically used "Nights of White Satin" by the Moody Blues.

The Young Girls of Rochefort - Good french musical from the 1960s. Very over the top, pays homage to earlier classic musicals, and makes good use of colour - would recommend to homosexuals.

Bryan Cranston features heavily in the trailer, but is only in the actual film for the first 20 mins or so. That does not account for my 6/10 score; it did nothing for me in general.

Yeah well, monster movies' logic: Humans are not really the main attraction. The monster deathmatches matter more..

But I give this 10/10 for me. :P

I even noticed one review they referenced the movie Jaws because of the protagonists' last name in that movie: Brody!!

The funniest movie iv'e seen this past year besides This Is The End.

Fun Fact: it's called Bad Neighbours over here so as not to get confused with the popular Australian soap opera of the same name.

Was hoping Harold and Toadie were getting a feature length special, gutted now.

Godzilla (2014): 4/10. Not very good. Some interesting bits here and there, but it just felt "lost" until the climax of the movie. Where there was some sweet monster on monster action. It could not save the movie taken as a whole, though.

Amazing Spider-Man 2-5/10
Just as I feared. Too much going on, too many characters, and not enough time to flesh anything out. Everything was really rushed. Electro could have been a pretty tragic character, but he turned heel instantly rather than building towards it. Goblin was a waste. Rhino was a hammy acting job. Still love the chemistry between Peter and Gwen. Harry and Peter on the other hand had no chemistry, and trying to get us to buy into them being good friends 8 yrs or so prior to this film flopped. They did not, in fact, learn from the over stuffed Spider-Man 3. I did, however, enjoy the score very much.

GODZILLA-8/10
Loved it. Agree with a lot of the critical comments of not really investing a lot in the films characters, but it's still a really well done Godzilla flick. Well paced, and Godzilla was the fucking man. Love the score, too. Saw they're doing a sequel. Interesting how that's going to work.

X-Men: Days of Future Past: 9/10.

Don't leave the theater cos Marvel loves to troll its audiences with easter egg ending after end credits roll. Again, it has something to do with this super villain that will obliterate all of them in the Marvel Universe:
