Can't be much of a leader if he's just a big dumb animal. I mean there's typically no speech in Metroid games, so you can only flesh out characters so much. But that's never really been the point of Metroid games.

He's basically Metroid's version of Bowser. Smart enough to lead his minions and think of some plans but also always finds a way to ruin those plans.

Think Ridley's biggest flaw is whatever he had planned or was doing goes straight out the window once he sees Samus and instead rushes straight at her only to get beaten every time. Even his Meta form had the same flaw of attacking.

Samus is a robot dressed as a woman dressed as a robot.

Just picked up the Command and Conquer Ultimate Collection. Every C & C game ever including all the expansions, from the original all the way up to C & C 4. Even Renegade.

All for 20 bucks. Might be the best gaming deal I've ever gotten.

Makes more sense to follow-up current running ones. Keeps the current brand consistent.

My roommate's gonna have the Xbox One at launch, so I guess I'll be on then, but there's not much for a launch stable of games. I rather wait a year. I would have all three consoles, and would start with X1 perhaps.

I want a PS4, despite the XB1 having some cool looking exclusives, Sony just offered me everything I want, which is: No mandatory Kinect / Eye camera, no DRM up the ass, and the absolute biggest reason is no mandatory 24 online check-up. I don't want to be sat there with a dead console when my internet is down.

It's a shame, because without all that absolute CRAP MS have put into their console, I could have been tempted to buy one.

Yeah my biggest gripe is the forced Kinect bullshit. I hate the thing. Don't want it. It adds nothing for me. I had no issues browsing the menus with a stick and A/B buttons. And I just know many shenanigans and hiccups could be had with a voice controlled device. We could probably shut off voice commands, though. And the idea of certain media not playing when more people are in the room kinda haunts me.

Sweet. R6 Patriots is back but for next gen.

Those aren't really sequels though, they're just spinoffs. Final Fantasy X-2, Final Fantasy XIII-2, those are direct sequels that they "needed" to make since X was a cash cow and any weeaboo teenage anime person would blindly shell out money for and Square Enix felt like they had to redeem themselves for fucking up XIII so badly.

I'll probably get a PS4 eventually. Had an NVidia GTX 770 in my Amazon basket for a day now, so tempting to pull the trigger.

Get that 770, amazing bang for the buck. Or you can wait and see how the AMD 8970 looks like.

PS4 still. Will probably hold off on an Xbone for awhile, either price drop or exclusives that are worth it. Titanfall isn't worth it, since it's going to be on PC too. And now that I've heard more about it, I don't want a Dead Rising thats had it's fun stripped out to be more like CoD...

If things are all tied to your gamertag and require an online access to work, I'd imagine a suspension would impact your licenses for the duration. This is another place where clarification would be nice.

So, if you're banned you lose the 60 bucks you paid for every single game installed into the XboxOne? I'm done.

I don't think I'd do anything to warrant being banned by Xbox, but fuck that. This is the last straw. Ps4 has my Next-Gen purchase if I buy one.

Being banned is something I have seen happens for the most random of reasons, and can happen if an angry kid complains that you were cheating when you beat him. I seriously don't see how this is a good move.

I've seen people banned for boosting achievements online, which y'know, if people wanna arrange to meet up in a match and exchange kills / tasks, why the fuck shouldn't they?

Kalyx will get banned for being too good at a fighting game, so some salty whiny bitch will report him for stupid bullshit no doubt.

The EA forum bans are hilarious because that locks them out of the game too, so someone goes onto Dragon Age 2 forums and says "Fuck this game" and then they can't play their games.

Actually the reputation system is changed in such a way where grieving behaviors would be taken into account. I highly doubt beating somebody's ass would factor into a bad vote after the system analyzes the game.

The way it works, you can't get banned for having a bad rep and I presume it would mean nothing unless a studio wanted to use it (rage quitters in fighting games would add to bad rep, and then rage quit hell would actually work this time).

So community policing should affect reputation, but something like system bans or suspensions will more than likely be for hacks and console flashing.

If its anything like the current system, mostly people who cheat or hack online and those who use modded consoles will be affected.

Since Gold accounts now expand to 10 people per console, a regular ban probably doesn't affect the other accounts so it should be possible to keep playing those games. You'd only be loosing all the achievements earned and probably certain game saves.
