It got horrible reviews so I wasn't expecting much although I was excited to see this movie when I first saw the previews. I thought it was pretty good and a very original idea.

Bad News Gertner 03-20-2014 03:35 AM

Escape Plan: 7/10

Good movie. Really enjoyed it.

GD 03-21-2014 02:58 AM

Dear Bad News Gertner, I did not like the movie. I did enjoy Arnold and Sylvester as I watching them grew up.

Cool idea for a movie. Got bad reviews but I enjoyed it.

Watched it last night. I wasn't totally impressed. Not enough plot really. Would've been nice to have a bit more backstory.

Also, Nick Cage is far worse than Cusack, West, or Keaton. Except in the National Treasure flicks and Con Air.

whiteyford 03-21-2014 01:19 PM

Cusack is the only decent thing to come out of your country since Taylor Momsen you bunch of savages. Also Cage was fantastic in Drive Angry.

whiteyford 03-21-2014 01:21 PM

But seriously, Adam West is the worst Batman.

Corporate CockSnogger 03-21-2014 01:35 PM

#TeamWest

The Grand Budapest Hotel - 5/5

Wes Anderson does it again.

Lock Jaw 03-22-2014 01:42 AM

The Princess Bride - 10/10

El Vaquero de Infierno 03-24-2014 06:56 AM

This Thursday I'm going to see Veronica Mars and the new Captain America film. I didn't think much of the first CA film, but I like the look of the sequel.

whiteyford 03-24-2014 01:58 PM

Don't think the we're getting VM here, bastard mancs.

El Vaquero de Infierno 03-24-2014 02:07 PM

Actually, it is now playing in AMC cinemas. So depending on what backwater area of that backwater country you reside in, you may still be able to see it.

whiteyford 03-24-2014 02:33 PM

I'm gonna say I've never heard of AMC cinemas, because well I haven't, so I'm stuck importing it in May.

XL 03-24-2014 03:28 PM

It's a cinema in Manchester that's showing Veronica Mars.

whiteyford 03-24-2014 03:34 PM

I love Veronica Mars but not enough to subject myself to Mancs.

El Vaquero de Infierno 03-24-2014 03:36 PM

I know in Scotland they have only just started showing "moving pictures" with sound, but I'm sure there is a Showcase or AMC relatively close to where you dwell?

whiteyford 03-24-2014 03:48 PM

They be the devils work, trapping people in the screen.

Corporate CockSnogger 03-24-2014 05:10 PM

This is a compelling argument. Scotland vs Manchester. If I were a bad poster, I'd post a "cripple fight" meme.

GD 03-25-2014 03:53 AM

12 Years A Slave - 10/10

You've turned into a right miserable prick since you started going bald.

Raven Reaper 03-25-2014 10:52 PM

Fright Night 2 2013 - 6.8/10.

Shisen Kopf 03-25-2014 11:08 PM

Raven Reaper the best Batman is gonna be Ben Affleck. Who are you to doubt Ben Affleck?

8/10.

Warning. DO NOT LEAVE the theater.. 2 ENDINGS in the half-end and the full ending credits roll.

Other than that, it was way better than the 1st Capt. America. And Nick Fury finally reveals by removing his eye patch. Hah. Scarlett is still smokin hot as Black Widow.

SPOILER: show
Love the scene in the ending where the Tesseract was revealed in a hydra lab and it's supposed to be a sequel to avengers not just the 1st Capt. America plotline!

El Vaquero de Infierno 03-27-2014 01:09 PM

Captain America: The Winter Soldier 8/10

It was indeed better than the first film. I think out of all the Marvel films I think I liked this one the most.

Veronica Mars 8/10

If you liked the series, I think you will like the film as well. And, yes, Kristen Bell is as cute as ever.

GD 03-27-2014 07:14 PM

About Time - 7/10

I cried a little.

Kalyx triaD 03-29-2014 07:17 AM

Noah - 5/5

Krimzon7 03-29-2014 09:45 AM

Saw Sabatoge. 6/10

It was so fucking grotesque. I've never seen so many entrails in a non horror movie. The suspense started off good. Then a love story popped up, then the movie ended as a spaghetti western. WTF, right?

Emperor Smeat 03-29-2014 01:33 PM

Dawn of the Dead (2004) - 4 out of 5

Krimzon7 03-30-2014 01:49 AM

Credits just rolled on The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. I really liked it. 8/10. Great story about overcoming your fears, and making sure the life you're given is fully lived. Ben Stiller did a solid job directing. Solid RomCom

Krimzon7 03-30-2014 03:35 AM

Lone Survivor 9/10 fucking gripping movie.

XL 03-30-2014 06:35 AM

We're The Millers 8/10

Emperor Smeat 04-01-2014 02:15 PM

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides - 4 out of 5

And for once it's a breath of fresh air from the PG-13 rating and non violent action flicks lately. The whole DEA squad is behaving more like Sons of Anarchy than a real police squad anyway. Drinking, Drugs, fucking etc.. IT just screams SamCro all the way.

I'd give it a 7/10 because well, I have a new crush on this woman.

https://fbcdn-sphotos-d-a.akamaihd.n...74856759_n.jpg

And the ending reminded me so much of the
SPOILER: show
1st Terminator in the disco scene where he had a shootout with Kyle.

P.S. The movie could've also used the Beastie Boys song of the same title as the main theme throughout the film.. It's really fitting too!

Captain America: The Winter Soldier 9/10

One of the top 3 best Marvel Studios movies, up there with Iron Man 1 and Avengers.

ClockShot 04-04-2014 06:01 PM

Noah - 3/5

Could have done a better job with the CGI.

GD 04-05-2014 06:31 PM
