Transformers: Dark of the Moon - 2.5 out of 5

It got horrible reviews so I wasn't expecting much although I was excited to see this movie when I first saw the previews. I thought it was pretty good and a very original idea.

Escape Plan: 7/10

Good movie. Really enjoyed it.

Dear Bad News Gertner, I did not like the movie. I did enjoy Arnold and Sylvester as I watching them grew up.

Watched it last night. I wasn't totally impressed. Not enough plot really. Would've been nice to have a bit more backstory.

Also, Nick Cage is far worse than Cusack, West, or Keaton. Except in the National Treasure flicks and Con Air.

Cusack is the only decent thing to come out of your country since Taylor Momsen you bunch of savages. Also Cage was fantastic in Drive Angry.

But seriously, Adam West is the worst Batman.

This Thursday I'm going to see Veronica Mars and the new Captain America film. I didn't think much of the first CA film, but I like the look of the sequel.

Don't think the we're getting VM here, bastard mancs.

Actually, it is now playing in AMC cinemas. So depending on what backwater area of that backwater country you reside in, you may still be able to see it.

I'm gonna say I've never heard of AMC cinemas, because well I haven't, so I'm stuck importing it in May.

It's a cinema in Manchester that's showing Veronica Mars.

I love Veronica Mars but not enough to subject myself to Mancs.

I know in Scotland they have only just started showing "moving pictures" with sound, but I'm sure there is a Showcase or AMC relatively close to where you dwell?

They be the devils work, trapping people in the screen.

Other than that, it was way better than the 1st Capt. America. And Nick Fury finally reveals by removing his eye patch. Hah. Scarlett is still smokin hot as Black Widow.

It was indeed better than the first film. I think out of all the Marvel films I think I liked this one the most.

Veronica Mars 8/10

If you liked the series, I think you will like the film as well. And, yes, Kristen Bell is as cute as ever.

It was so fucking grotesque. I've never seen so many entrails in a non horror movie. The suspense started off good. Then a love story popped up, then the movie ended as a spaghetti western. WTF, right?

Dawn of the Dead (2004) - 4 out of 5

Credits just rolled on The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. I really liked it. 8/10. Great story about overcoming your fears, and making sure the life you're given is fully lived. Ben Stiller did a solid job directing. Solid RomCom

Lone Survivor 9/10 fucking gripping movie.

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides - 4 out of 5

And for once it's a breath of fresh air from the PG-13 rating and non violent action flicks lately. The whole DEA squad is behaving more like Sons of Anarchy than a real police squad anyway. Drinking, Drugs, fucking etc.. IT just screams SamCro all the way.

I'd give it a 7/10 because well, I have a new crush on this woman.

P.S. The movie could've also used the Beastie Boys song of the same title as the main theme throughout the film.. It's really fitting too!
