Last time they were asked they said they had several new games in the pipe that were not Rock Band (not surprising, really) or Dance Central. I'm legitimately curious as to what they've got going.

I'd think adding a new Fable forum and announcing they have something to announce is actually announcing a new Fable game.

Just started another playthrough of Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

Hope it's not a tease for the movie that's in the works and just a whole new game in general.

Apparently I'll be getting Deus Ex: Human Revolution free through Playstation Plus this month, along with Saints Row 3. Makes me happy I never actually went out and bought Saint's Row 3.

Yeah, Human Revolution was a lot of fun. Outside of the boss fights anyway.

Well, hell. I remember I started doing that, but I stopped halfway through, because when the :heart: started appearing in the dialogue, I thought the game glitched again. This makes me sad. Protect ring would have helped heaps against Ozma.

Eurogamer guy can't write off LEGO games because they're getting dull and are "just copy/pastes" when COD etc exist and people still play it.

It's not surprising that it's popular despite being bland and copy/paste. Just look at tv and movies. ANOTHER Zombie film. ANOTHER talent contest. ANOTHER "tense" neonlit gameshow.

Even better, since he wants "innovation." What was the big innovation in Ghosts? Curves for guns? Optional Kinect dog commands?

"innovation" is the sort of term tossed around by douchebags who tend to do what every other gamer does and buy more of the same stuff they liked before.

And honestly, that's not a bad thing. If you can add something new to a beloved franchise, great. But the drive for innovation leads to shitty gimmicks and superficial deals.

I was keeping an eye on this because I've really enjoyed every single Twisted Pixel game so far. Now I know I'll miss this one out. No clue why it's on Xbox One when it looks like it could run on the original Xbox.

I've been playing a lot of Super Metroid lately and I wondered if anyone knew if Ridley is supposed to be sentient like some kind of alien or if he's just a dumb animal.

Sort of don't want to know the answer because it gives him a "mysteriousness" if I don't know if he's one or the other.

It's a recurring creature in the series. I don't know if it's ever been fleshed out or anything.

I know he's recurring. I just never knew if he was aware of whats going on or if he was just acting out of instinct.

Seems to just be some beast that probably had a point once upon a time but now shows up for the fans. Maybe there's more than one.

No, there is just one Ridley, and he is sentient. He's actually the leader of the space pirates behind Mother Brain.

Yeah, I knew there was only one. Apparantly, according to the manga, he is the one that killed Samus' parents in front of her. I knew he was the space pirate leader but I never saw anything to suggest he was sentient. He's always looked and acted like he was just some big dumb animal that got in the way a lot.

Samus is a girl?
