It was probably already posted, but this is actually kind of an interesting story, bringing up CZW a bit to describe the history of Dean Ambrose and using it as a way to segue into the feud with Rollins.

Would say it was a pretty random dream, but then again I did just re-watch the Nexus debut last night.

Flair has signed a new deal and will be popping up on TV semi-regularly going into SummerSlam, possibly beyond. Eva Marie had a very rough night at the WWE NXT tapings from Full Sail University on Thursday night. She was given heat by the crowd from the moment she made her entrance and one fan commented that they "murdered her." She made it worse by putting on a bad performance in her match against Bayley. One fan noted that they "despised her" and "first we had X-Pac Heat and now we have Eva Marie Heat."
Was being claimed that the booing and hostility shown was around 2-3x the level of the ending to this year's Rumble.

While it has not been confirmed or even rumored that is the plan, there are a lot of people who feel it's time to "pull the trigger" on Roman Reigns and give him the title on Sunday. With Brock Lesnar scheduled to return on Monday's RAW, it will be interesting to see how they use him with Cena gone.

They shouldn't let Eva Marie wrestle. Just make her arm candy.

Vastardikai 07-19-2014 08:53 PM

Eva Marie had a bad showing by general standards or her standards?

I'd argue that, by general standards, Eva Marie ALWAYS has bad showings.

screech 07-19-2014 08:57 PM

Yeah, Eva Marie is pretty terrible

screech 07-19-2014 09:02 PM

They should just put the title on THE DEMON KANE

Kane wins, we all win

Vastardikai 07-19-2014 09:10 PM

Actually, I'm in favor of Kane winning, because it would be a different option. Reigns isn't ready just yet. Orton has been done death. Cena has been done to death, reanimated, and done to death again. Kane is kind of a rare one.

mike adamle 07-19-2014 09:16 PM

Kane winning and avenging his brother's loss to Brock Lesnar the next month would really be something.

Cena is in a movie called Trainwreck. Probably the most to the point title he's ever been in.

I'm fine with relentless booing of Eva Marie. She really has no business in the ring. She's been employed by WWE for well over a year now and has been at the Performance Center for most of it but has not improved one iota. She's possibly the most helpless person they've ever put in the ring.

Have her manage a heel or something and she'd be fine.

She draws comparison with Kaitlyn who was terrible when she debuted in NXT Season 3. That's pretty much where the in-ring similarity ends.

Saw these at the local Landmark (which is a brick and mortar retail chain for books, audio / video, games, etc). Surprised that out of the 5 titles available, one is for Ryder. Checked if they had any other WWE DVDs across any of their other stores / in the warehouse, and the answer was no.

CM Punk, Austin, The Rock, and HBK (not pictured here) i get. Didn't realise Ryder was SO popular to warrant an official DVD distribution here in India!

Tazz Dan 07-20-2014 10:57 AM

They did a series a couple of years ago with him (Ryder), Mysterio, Cena, Kofi I think, and a couple of others. Just cheap DVD's with a few matches on them. I don't think they sold well in Australia, they seem to be getting cheaper every few months at our DVD/CD stores.

Tazz Dan 07-20-2014 11:01 AM

We've got some good deals here at the moment at Sanity, our major DVD/CD chain. I picked up the latest Ultimate Warrior DVD, nWo Revolution DVD, and Best of Nitro 1&2 DVD's for $50. They normally sell for $26.99 - $36.99 each.

Asmo 07-20-2014 11:14 AM

WWE India's finally getting its act together. We just got the first official merchandise store on an Indian e-commerce portal (Myntra.com) last week, and most of the toys are being distributed at popular stores.

Hope the interest continues, and we get more licensed merch, faster. Sucks having to pay colossal shipping fees, and it deters me from buying more.

Bad News Gertner 07-20-2014 11:14 AM

Watched the youshoot Shane Helms.

Not good at all. Helms doesn't say much. The questions were awful.

Tazz Dan 07-20-2014 12:35 PM

C'mon dude, of course she is. She's blonde, which just makes her another generic blonde in the wrestling biz. Keep up man

2006 wasn't really a bad year for the WWE, was it?

It had it's good moments, with the one sticking out most for me being Edge cashing in on Cena and ending his nine month reign as WWE Champion.

I don't think it was the worst promotion of 2006.

Sepholio 07-20-2014 03:13 PM

That list in general makes me lose a shit ton of respect for them. WCW was not the worst all of those years. A couple of them maybe, but that list is utter nonsense.

I've never understood this mentality. I watch wrestling to see good wrestling matches, whether it's male or female. I'm a grown man. If I want to see a chick just cause she's hot, there are hundreds of thousands of porn sites out there. When I watch wrestling, I want bitches that can actually wrestle.

Vastardikai 07-20-2014 03:25 PM

They need to find a way to bring Clem Layfield into mainstream WWE television. He's more entertaining than Heath Slater.

Cool King 07-20-2014 03:27 PM

I feel a bit bad that the JBL & Cole Show is now at episode 86, and I've still never watched a single one. :-\

Vastardikai 07-20-2014 03:32 PM

I've watched a handful of them. But it's best known for introducing Bad News Barrett.
