Former WWE champion Matt Hardy was arrested at a motel in Virginia earlier this month ... after allegedly getting into a fight with his wrestler wife ... TMZ Sports has learned.

Just look at the mug shots of Hardy and 27-year-old Reby Sky -- both appear bloody and scratched up.

Hardy has multiple scratch marks all over his face and Sky -- real name Rebecca Hardy -- appears to be sporting a fat lip, black eye and several small cuts on her face.

http://ll-media.tmz.com/2014/01/29/0...-mugshot-1.jpg

Law enforcement tells TMZ Sports ... the couple was arrested at the Hampton Inn in Emporia, VA on January 1st around 5:45 AM.

We're told both Matt and Sky were booked for assault and battery. They were released on $3,500 bail.

Our sources tell us both Matt and Sky got restraining orders against each other.

So apparently KENTA and Prince Devitt received tryouts at the performance center, at the behest of William Regal. I knew they'd been talking with Devitt for a while, but this is the first I've heard about KENTA coming over.

I think they'd be great as a tag team, with Devitt as the mouthpiece.

KENTA invented both the Go To Sleep, and the Busaiku Knee (Bryan's running knee finish). Wonder if they'd let him use either of them if he came over.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, WWE has signed a new five year deal with SkyTV. The deal would give Sky the rights to RAW, SmackDown and Main Event through 2019 in Great Britain and Ireland. The deal will also include them carrying the 12 PPV events on Sky Sports Box Office as PPV events. While the financial deals were not revealed, the deal is believed to be at least three times what WWE’s last deal with Sky was for.

Ah well the Network might not be the same here if all the PPVs are moving to box office.

However, wrestlers have never been paid a cut of the TV deals in the past, and the bulk of their income is either their downside guarantee if they are hurt or not used well, or a formula based on the house show revenue, the PPV revenue, how their merchandise does and a fee from the video game. The network won’t hurt house show revenue significantly or at all. It may hurt PPV revenue a lot, and may hurt revenue on DVDs somewhat.

So that’s a situation to look at. But if PPV and DVD business goes down with the network, but the company gets as much or more revenue based on network subscribers, what cut of the network will the wrestlers be getting is a real issue. In a sense, with more revenue coming in presumably, wrestlers should be paid better. Yet at the same time, with so much of that income more guaranteed rather than generated based on individuals, when it comes to the key guys and big moneymakers, how will their value be measured?

It's obviously Freddie Prinze Jr.

Looks like

SPOILER: show

MVP lied and he's the "investor" in TNA.

Can't believe it

3% means he's at least somewhat famous. Spill it.

#1-norm-fan 01-30-2014 10:25 PM

Is it Mark Yeaton?

#1-norm-fan 01-30-2014 10:25 PM

Would 3% be too high or too low for that guess?

#1-norm-fan 01-30-2014 10:35 PM

Can we at least get some Guess Who/Mr. McMahon's illegitimate son "this person does NOT have brown hair" clues going here, Blitz?

bought a copy of this the other day:

while i like the fact that it has an early verison of weird al's "my bologna" on it, the reason i picked it up was because of freddie blassie's "pencil neck geek." didn't even know it existed. where have i been?

Plus all the other comments under my post on this page.

SlickyTrickyDamon 01-30-2014 10:58 PM

Was looking for the thread about it but gave up and posted it quick in this thread.

Tazz Dan 01-30-2014 11:00 PM

Yeah, I was going to make a thread about it, but I wasn't THAT excited. Slik will no doubt make one later.

SlickyTrickyDamon 01-30-2014 11:02 PM

What are they calling him?
