We're living in a world where Guardians of the galaxy and Ant-man are huge blockbusters.

I wouldn't doubt the viability of any character at this point.

I will read one every once and a while...I tried to read the "Monsters Unleashed" event series but it 'fell apart' halfway through...before that I think the last one I read was a Hyperion miniseries but it was 'just ok'....I decided to read Immortal Hulk b/c I heard it had 'a horror feel'

When Black Panther Movie came out i was lit when i went to see it. I just bought the Blu Ray and damn.. this is one of the best movies Marvel has made for sure.

Sony now has reportedly shelved it's "Silver & Black" movie, which was to star Silver Sable and Black Cat......

In favour of both of them now getting their own solo movies instead.

Sony also possibly developing movies for Silk, Kraven the Hunter, Jackpot (who I vaguely remember from the early Brand New Day Spider-Man), and Nightwatch (who I have never heard of).

The internal name for it all is "Sony’s Universe of Marvel Characters" or SUMC for short.

Silk is cool. Dunno about the rest though.

Anyone reading X-Men Red and if so, whats the difference between X-Men Red and X-Men Blue. I might start reading Blue also. I'm 3 issues into Red atm and i really like it.

Well, Gambit just showed up in X-Men Red and i'm hyped. Gambit is my fav.

Naturally, Gambit got someone killed. That's why I like him.

Captain Marvel is half Kree in the MCU. This is not treated as a big reveal since the movie starts with this as basic knowledge. Like Spider-Man it's not a full on origin story.

Pretty sure she's part kree in the comics too, so not surprising.

I think she started off human, but then Kree Captain Mar-Vell gave her some of his DNA or something making her a half breed.

That's the origin I know. I don't think most people would consider that a half-breed situation. It's like saying Peter Parker is half-spider.
