Really entertained by the whole thing. Is it full of deep philosophy? No. But whatevs. It was fun. This is how to do a movie of this genre. Fuck you Battleship.

Pretty decent. Some pretty bad shaky cam action sequences, though.

The Lone Ranger: 2.3/10

I grew up loving westerns, however I feel this movie may ruin the genre for at least a generation.

WHAT?!? That was my 2nd favorite end of the world movie (Knowing). Lots of cool visuals.

Elysium - 4/5

If you liked District 9, or are a sci-fi fan you'l like it. Mercenary character taken straight from D9, and a couple of plot holes were the main drawbacks. Could have really driven home the theme but chose to back off. Oh well. Still fun to watch. Action was pretty neat. Best parts were't necessarily the action though.

Grown Ups 2

4/10 The first one was funny, and had a workable plot. This one seemed rushed, and was made to give Sandlers buddies a payday.

X-Men First Class 10/10 Just for the Wolverine cameo.

It's a Disaster - 5/5

Thor 4/5. Minus 1 point for Portman's shitty "oh my god" when Thor was kicking major ass.

The Royal Tenanbaums - 8/10

Considering my limited exposure to Gwyneth Paltrow, I found her to be very attractive in the film.

District 9 - 4.5/5

Loved it. Disappointed now in Elysium not being better than "decent". I hope this movie gets a sequel.

Just wanted to see if all the action heroes could co-exist a second time. Made it 17 minutes into the movie before I turned on captions or Dolph Lundgren Navigation. Good flick to watch at the start of the day to amp your shit up

This is England 8/10 didn't like the ending.

Sex and the Single Girl(1964)- 5.7/10

Based on the book of the same name by Helen Gurly Brown, this comedy has an all-star cast with Natalie Wood, Henry Fonda, Lauren Bacall, and Tony Curtis. Its mostly a parody of the cultural attitudes at this point in time, 50 years ago and hits the mark in a lot of places. However, while it has its moments it also misses its mark in a bunch of places and the final "chase" scene is long and it drags on. Fun movie, and I like the style from this time period, but nothing to go out of your way and see.

El Condor(1970): 8/10

Saw the title and the stars (Jim Brown, Lee Van Cleef) on the guide and just knew I had to check it out. A western set in the newly independent Mexico, Brown and Van Cleef get together with a bunch of Apaches' to raid a Mexican Fort that houses millions of dollars in solid good. This movie is a forgotten classic and I was shocked to see it rated with a single star. I loved it. Very "pulp" for the time with nudity and the violence seems like it would have been an early Tarantino film.

Holy Hannah, this was good. I can't believe I saw Man of Steel in the theaters instead of this one. Wish I had seen this in theaters.

Star Trek: The Motion Picture: 2/5

Was the only Trek movie I never saw before. I swear half the movie was wide panning shots of spaceships intercut with people looking "awed".
