:lol: WWE sent Becky Lynch on to Celebrity Jeopardy where she got brutally murdered by Macaulay Culkin and Rachel Dratch.

Becky apparently only got 2 questions right through three rounds (and got them both in the last round), and entered Final Jeopardy with only $500. She did get Final Jeopardy right though, and doubled her total.

But she did bump the ratings in the demo

Insane to think we’re only 3 days away from CM Punk returning.

I remember saying, maybe not here, but a lot of the folks WWE express "interest" in is either false info fed to dirt sheets to get Snowman to overpay or false info fed to dirt sheets by Tony himself.

Why do I mention this? Because a name that was not brought up in these sheets was Madi Wrenkowski, who just signed to WWE.

Yeah, I’d believe it. When you’re in a “war,” that is how you gain an advantage. I think they’ve sent over a number of Trojan horses too.

I'd rock 'em.

Maybe recently, but it still straddles a line of credibility, since there are times where WWE would "express interest" in someone you wouldn't think. Like, for every Brock Lesnar that would be obvious, you get a few Miz-es that aren't. And I don't mean that as a knock on Miz. I just mean you'd expect them to look at/for NCAA athletic standouts (not neccessarily wrestlers, but...) that they can exploit the talent crossover easily or indy talent with the right amount of buzz that isn't buzz about WWE so they aim to fix that. This has been a thing before AEW, and continue to be one if Tony gets bored and folds tents.

Also also, sometimes you end up with a situation like Shinsuke Nakamura, where nobody really believed it until he was in a signee photo with Triple H... because nothing about Nak's station in NJPW, WWE's attitude about "small", foreign wrestlers, and stars they themselves didn't "create" would historically tell you otherwise.

There may be those that can and prob'ly should play the politik long-con to more money. But other times, it is what it is. Last woman I heard anything about in that way was Nikki Cross after her SWA sessions and Lance putting her over. I have zero idea who this Madi is, but she looks like someone who would easily fall into the WWE Name Generator and pressed into a middling gimmick that gets more attention than it deserves because she's "new" and "hot".

But seriously, I think Tony does promise a lot less life change for a lot more money. Hearing Will Ospreay talk about why he signed with AEW makes it sound like he’ll be doing basically the same thing and he is now, just for $1 million a year or whatever.

It’s certainly a strategy from WWE to force those moves. The Khans have a lot of money, but surely there has to be some return at some point, right?

A fairly decent hand, trained by Jazz and worked a lot in Mission Pro. Was an underneath talent in AEW until, for some unexplained reason, they just stopped booking her. Maybe because of the first fact.

Yeah, one of the first things that pops are of her are AEW graphics. WWE was like “We really, really, REALLY want Will Ospreay.” Then yoink.

Clever ploy by WWE. Leak it to the Dirtsheets that they’re interested in one of the standout talents on the international scene so that Tony focuses solely on him allowing you to quietly sign someone 90% of the audience have never heard of.

They don’t call him the Cerebral Assasin for nothing.
