Booked a Chris Jericho (& JAS) return to WWE in my head earlier.

WALTER is dominating as IC champ having now beaten HTM’s record reign. He’s seen off every contender put in front of him including former IC Champions Ziggler, Mysterio, Kofi, Nakamura, and anyone else they can get to come in to lay down for WALTER.

WALTER declares himself the greatest IC champion of all time and lays claim to being the champion for life. BREAK THE WALLS DOWN… Jericho is back in WWE!

WALTER may be the man with tie longest reign but Jericho is the one with the most reigns and he’s here to break and create records.

It writes itself really. Jericho and the JAS (the self-professed sports entertainers) up against WALTER and Imperium who’s mat is sacred.

Gunther is way above carrying Jericho at this point. I’d rather see Honky come back and manage a string of challengers against Gunther.

Give me Gunther de facto face against Dominik Mysterio still.

Riddle made Triple H fear for his life — but it was his leaked videos that did it.

Serious suggestion: Have Matt Riddle move back to NXT for a bit. If CM Punk signs, have Punk do a few things around the place — maybe win the NXT Title. Riddle can take shots at press conferences — maybe talking about how Riddle settled into Punk’s world better than Punk settled into his. Talk about how Punk dodges him, etc. Split NXT into two brands for a while. Have Riddle’s “Bro Show” invade NXT proper.

There’s talk of people being released/not signed back up after the merger goes through. They re-signed Nia Jax. This is happening concurrently.

In brighter news, I did like what they did with Jey and Owens on Raw, calling back when Owens turned face last. Also, if they’re doing “brand warfare” at Survivor Series this is a good way to plant the seeds for the usual “can they co-exist” angle and also potentially bile towards Cody being shipped off to SmackDown ready for Roman/Cody II.

Ilja always wins me over. He’s got this innate charisma about him. Great facial expressions too. He reminds me of Mick Foley in some ways. Wes Lee is really good. He seems “small,” but he’s a good worker for that size.

If they HAD to do a cruiserweight division somewhere, he’d be a pretty obvious anchor for it.
