It feels like there was someone off camera with a gun to a puppies head forcing them to read cue cards

Got to say, while I haven’t been following WWE that closely, the Seth/Finn feud seems way more interesting than I would have originally thought. Love the connective tissue to their Universal Title stuff and it being used to prep Seth’s asshole laughing gimmick for UK backlash.
|
Legit want Finn to take the belt. The nailed on outcome is Seth retains and continues with the fighting champ gimmick but I think Balor taking the title and cementing his place in Judgment Day and their place on the card is the better outcome. If you want the “fracture lines in the group” (I don’t personally as it’s too close of The Bloodline stuff) you can have Priest win MITB. I’d potentially have him cash in immediately on the guy that eventually beats Finn for the belt which could even be Seth.

Hey, AEW fans would call that “long term booking”.

Finn winning the belt is cool. I’m not keen on Priest winning MITB though.

Fuck me. The scissors make me legitimately squeamish. This is why I can’t get into STARDOM. They don’t make women’s wrestling like this anymore.
|
I need to get back into my watch at least one AJW match before bed lol.
|
Heyo!
|
The problem is that STARDOM is primarily marketed to creepy older men who want to hug them at meet and greets. AJW's success was in large part due to being marketed to younger girls.
|
The wrestling was also better. AJW does give off more…sincere vibes. Presented more like a sport and less like a pervert’s fantasy.
|
Overall, yes. Stardom does still consistently deliver genuinely great singles matches, though.

He's literally just a brick with arms.
|
I like that. He looks like he’s suplexing dudes who don’t want to be suplexed.
At first I was gonna make a comment about how he’s just tossing around smaller guys, and then they cleverly threw in some Vader clips at the end. |
I haven’t seen much of Gary Albright, but that is impressive. He was only 36 when he died in 2000.

Yes, we can definitely agree on that lol. Gary the Great Unifier (I’m not giving the credit to Omega).

Looks like Natty went to Charlottes plastic surgeon and god only knows why she made that decision.

You're gonna go give this guy 50k and he's going to make you look 3-4 times uglier and like you're made out of cheap plastic.

And I'm almost willing to bet these decisions are manipulated comments from people in suits and in the truck. Like, there is - for example - a difference from a self-concious girl who has always been flat getting a modest tit job, and a lady who already has a respectable rack getting cartoon sized chesticles disproportionate to her body. One is more of a boost for the ego, the other is likely suggested from outside words and deeds and usually to the detriment of the recipient. Meanwhile, its the same company that would take someone like Becky Lynch and shit on her accent and make her want to hide her impressive (pre baby, mind you) abs. |

They didn’t pull the trigger at MITB because they’re holding off for SummerSlam to “finish the story” between Finn and Seth 7 years to the event. I’m not sure if they run back Seth and Finn again or if they do Seth vs someone else. Let’s go with the former for now though. Hard fought battle, Finn just can’t put Seth away though. Priest comes to ringside with his case like he did at MITB. Seth goes for the Curb Stomp to finish Seth off and BAM! Priest smashes Rollins with the case causing the DQ. When Finn comes round he’s obviously pissed, Priest is cashing in at his expense. Only he’s not. He hands Finn the briefcase, Finn is surprised but hands it off to the ref. Bell rings, Coup de Grace, new champ. It’s a unique way to use the case, gets the belt on Finn allowing Seth to chase, cements Judgment Day as a solid unit with Priest sacrificing his own opportunity to allow Finn to “exorcise the demons of the past” so to speak. Priest knows his time will come especially as JD are stronger together. |

I concede that there’s something they could have done in the UK with Balor and Priest both walking out with something, but if Finn couldn’t get it there, I don’t think he’s getting it anywhere anytime soon. |
Gail Kim and Gisele Shaw are a team in the latest season of The Amazing Race Canada. They say they are out to prove that wrestlers aren't just dumb.
Later that episode, Gisele can't understand the clue and does the challenge wrong multiple times, going from first to start the challenge to last to leave. Was a "simple" challenge that everyone else understood and did right away. Took Gisele two times not understanding and doing it wrong before realizing what she had to do. Then Gisele fails a memory challenge 8 times after that. End result, they came in last and have been eliminated in the very first episode due to stupidity. Gail Kim looked great, though. Looks like she hasn't aged in 15 years or more. |
Going to be meeting Gisele in about a month at a 5km I'm racing in as part of our local Pride festivities.
