Given the state of promos and personalities these days, k-mart rock is more entertaining than most of whats out there.

And again, I'll reiterate I have no issue with stealing a gimmick. That's a time-honoured tradition in entertainment in general. But if you're going to steal something, make it better.

Some guy has been uploading all the WCW Thunders in chronological order the past few weeks. Doing the Lords work. He's also uploaded every 1986 and most of 1987 episodes of Prime Time Wrestling. So great.

The laughter in this is infectious.

I’m willing to admit that this is a huge part of why I like the guy.

Thought he was excellent in NWA. His confident delivery lent itself well to that old school “over-the-top, but still grounded in reality” setting.

Jim Cornette is quick as a whip. He’s right about almost everything wrestling related. It’s funny how nuts he drives Dave Meltzer and The Elite.

Over the past few years I've veered more onto the "progressive" side of things and some things Cornette says drive me nuts. Just like, "duuuuuuuude, no...."

But I still love him and honestly think his heart is in the right place. Plus, yeah, he's right about a lot of shit. Some of his personal creative decisions were...interesting. But he grasps the meat and potatoes of good wrestling and I love listening to him talk history.

I’m also trying to be on the progressive side of things. I get what you mean. Totally fair assessment of him. A lot of what is said about him are total lies, projections, etc. But there is the occasional “dude, no” like you said.

I agree he sounds like he means well.
