Kevin Owens v Gunther on Raw tonight for free.
The continuation of booking PWG dream matches in major feds remains undefeated |
Still can’t get into Owens. Don’t associate him nor Gunther with PWG. IC Title should be the top belt on Raw.

I wouldn't mind paying to see this guy once in a while. Maybe not every week, but as a special attractions every other year.
I mean, there are modern stars whose stuff has more daylight in it. |

Stan Hansen and Genichiro Tenryu are two of my all-time favs.
|
Been pulling for Impact Wrestling lately. Seems to be booked sensibly and has been a great landing spot for some really deserving talent.

Agreed. It’s a bucket with holes in it.
The weirdest thing for them would be to get a new TV deal. The visibility could get them eyeballs which could boost attendance and give it more “life.” They’re owned by Anthem which owns AXS, but that doesn’t disqualify them from diversifying. They’re probably profitable at this point and that’s all that matters to the suits, so why rock their own boat? It’s just not as rewarding as it could be for the viewer. |
Rhea looks badass with the new world championship.

Design works really with a white strap
|
This is just a step too far with the belts. Hate that they’re all matching arbitrarily.
|
Whoa! Notable transphobe, Mr. Nerfect can see my posts?

Wish we’d get an update, bigger version of the winged eagle but the new one isn’t bad and I’m a sucker for white straps.

What I see in that picture is that Rhea looks like a goddamn superstar with that belt and they better not fuck this up
|
Lots of Rhea videos have been popping up on my YouTube Shorts suggestions recently because of algorithm... she is quite the looker without the makeup (not that she is a horrible with the makeup)

Something about her ticks vastly different boxes with me when she's gimmick'd up and in street clothes. All in good ways. Just seems to be whether one would prefer Rhea in the streets and Mami in the sheets or vice versa. "I'LL TAKE 'EM BOTH; I'M HARDCORE!!!" |

It feels like WWE lost the plot about their championship belts after the Cena US spinner gimmick... which fit Cena at the time. Keeping it that way instead of leaving it as Cena's "Smoking Skull" made it stupid. Co-opting that design for the one of the WHCs was worse (especially initially, since the wheel wasn't counterweighted and the topheavy "W" kept flopping upside-down). The last time I really "liked" any of the belts was the absurity of the Daniel Bryan "eco-friendly" strap. Before that was way back when Cody re-introduced the classic style white strapped IC title during his "undashing" phase. Most of them anymore look like they're trying too hard to make them look like toys so that they can market toys instead of any sort of sought after trophy and decoration. |

Either way, I will physically - and maybe slightly mentally - regret everything. After. |
There a great many folks who aren't normally into wrestling are big into Rhea.
|
A lawsuit brought forth by former TNA wrestler Rhaka Khan has been thrown out. It claimed a large number of people conspired to kidnap her and her children including Jim Cornette, The Rock, The Miz, Nikki Bella, the NYPD, the FBI (no word on if Tracy Smothers was included), Chris Benoit, Mick Foley, Michael Jordan and Home Depot.
|
I heard Cornette talking about that. I legit feel really bad for her...like wtf? Clearly has suffered a break from reality.

Also I agree that Rhea is a god damn goddess. She is a very pretty lady but the current mami gimmick is something else. And yes she looks like mega star in that photo.

Always forget how completely unrecognizable Rhea Ripley circa the first Mae Young Classic is
https://i0.wp.com/pbs.twimg.com/medi...40%2C640&ssl=1 |
I remember a brief period of time in NXT when she was women's champion, the commentators would refer to her as NXT Champion (dropping the women's part). I guess they decided to do away with it once she was booked to face Charlotte at Mania with the strap on the line.
|
I remember seeing her in the Mae Young Classic thinking "whoa, she could be a big deal"
|
Especially when Tegan Nox got injured :shifty:
