15 games in and I'm tired of Bonifacio. He's a nightmare everywhere he plays.

The Cubs are only 3.5 games back right now. I'm going to the Reds Cubs game on the 24th. Hopefully they arent eliminated by then, but who am i kidding right?

I would love to see Villanueva stay solid and Schierholtz still raking today.

RP 04-18-2013 12:13 PM

Also, yesterdays game was rained out and today's weather dont look any better at all. They have to play through a storm right? How in the world will they make up two games against Texas? The error record might fall today. Go Cubs Go!

Skippord 04-18-2013 03:16 PM

getting a disturbing amount of pleasure from watching Matt Cain get smacked around by the Brewers

I have to root for other teams to beat the Giants because the Rockies are shockingly inept against them

He has been especially brutal at second base.

Last night's Tigers/Mariners game was one of the best games I've seen in recent memory.

Droford 04-18-2013 06:58 PM

Im going to the Os/Jays game next wednesday at 12:35

Frank Drebin 04-18-2013 06:58 PM

Guys, just so you know, Alfonso Soriano is still available.

Ermaximus 04-18-2013 08:23 PM

Julio Teheran, you are really just not that good. Can't wait for Beachey to get back in that rotation.

ClockShot 04-18-2013 10:20 PM

CITO GASTON COME ON DOWN!

As much as I love Jeter, me thinks he should retire along with The King after the season is over. He's gonna be 40 next season.

Cashman already is negotiating with his agent

Ermaximus 04-18-2013 10:58 PM

At this rate, Atlanta is going to set the record for most home runs in a year by a single team.

Boomer 04-18-2013 11:13 PM

I cannot wait to see McCann back and Gattis in the DH for the most ridiculous power line-up I've ever seen during some inter-league play.

BJ Upton
Heyward
J Upton
Freeman
McCann
Gattis
Uggla
Johnson/Fransisco
Simmons

He's completely lost in the outfield. His routs to the ball are very Corey Pattersonesque.

Matt Wieters walk off Grand Slam in the 10th to beat the Rays 10-6

Orioles regular season extra inning streak extended to 17 games, 98 straight wins when leading after 7 innings in the regular season

Would you rather have Teheran or Viscaino?

SlickyTrickyDamon 04-19-2013 02:17 AM

Red Sox pick up their sixth victory in a row. Sorry about your damn luck Tito, but really the Indians? Come on.

I was watching (well, I turned it on while I was doing dishes etc) the Jays game, and when it ended I flipped over to the Rays/Orioles game in time to see the extra innings. First pitch and he just crushed it. Pretty impressive.

I'd rather have Uggla pitching than either of those two.

he's a centerfielder being asked to play infield positions

The Condor 04-19-2013 11:31 AM

Congrats to your DBags, Wadding. On another note, the loss of Derek Jeter is simply horrible. I can't stand concrete mitts Nunez in the field. If ever a guy was pre-ordained by fate to be a DH it was him.

RP 04-19-2013 12:08 PM

GO CUBS GO! Lets take this series against the Brew! We still have a chance!

The Condor 04-19-2013 08:55 PM

Yankees are roughing up Brandon Morrow early tonight

Evil Vito 04-19-2013 10:56 PM

Matt Harvey outduels Stephen Strasburg, becomes the first pitcher to 4 wins on the year, and the crowd was chanting "Harvey's better" at Strasburg after he gave up a couple of home runs in the 6th.

Good game.

Bad News Gertner 04-19-2013 11:51 PM

Lol Rick Ankiel has 28 at bats, 3 home runs and 20 strikeouts

I wouldn't say so. Harvey's clearly been better so far, but more importantly he's had much better numbers than Strasburg had at this point in his career. While saying he's better overall might be difficult because Strasburg's got more time under his belt - it's fair to compare the two since they're the same age and have similar repertoires including high heat and fucking nasty breaking pitches. I look forward to them dueling for years to come.

I do expect Harvey to hit a bump in the road at some point this year - because every pitcher does. But my god he's been so filthy so far.

Evil Vito 04-20-2013 10:29 AM

I do wonder about Strasburg's mechanics over the long term. Feel like he'll eventually have to adapt to a more normal pitching motion or else he's bound to get hurt again or go the way of Tim Lincecum (why the FUCK did I pick him for Comeback Player of the Year?). :(

screech 04-20-2013 11:44 AM

Evil Vito 04-20-2013 02:52 PM

David Ortiz ended the Red Sox/Boston police ceremony before the game by proclaiming "this is our fucking city" to a massive ovation from the crowd. That's awesome.

OssMan 04-20-2013 03:40 PM
