|
The Man Who Knew Too Much 3/5
The Incredible Hulk 4/5 |
Quantom of Solace 3/10.
Good action bad script. And the fight/chase scene on foot in the beginning, was that the same place where Matt Damon fought Desh in Bourne Ultimatum? |
The Incredible Hulk
6/10 It was alright. I bet I would've given it a higher score if I saw it at the cinema. It's not Dark Knight or Spiderman tril, that's for sure. |
Forgetting Sarah Marshall
Hella funny - 8/10 |
Meet the Parents 8/10 Meet the Fockers 7/10 The Last Castle 9/10 Gangs of New York 10/10 |
Fight Club 9/10
Yeah, I was a little late on this one. :p |
^ You are Jack's lateness.
|
I have friends that still haven't seen Fight Club. They better get it sorted or the next time this is mentioned they'll be in the past tense.
|
RocknRolla - 4.5/5
Good shit. |
four brothers 4/10
|
Catch Me If You Can 10/10.
F-ing brilliant. That Frank Abagnale guy must have been a genius. That's why its a 10 because his brains are the size of cheeseburgers. |
Forgetting Sarah Marshall 6/10
|
Zack and Miri Make A Porno 7/10
|
Merchant of Venice (with Pacino - 2004 adaptation) - 7/10
|
Speed Racer - 8/10
|
Best of The Best - 7.5/10
Girls Gone Wild: Wildest Bar in America - 9/10 :shifty: |
Die Hard With a Vengeance 7/10.
|
The Boy in the Striped Pajamas - 4.9/5
Only reason it lost a point was because it was too short. But this is the saddest movie I've seen in a long time. Had some trouble driving home.:'( |
Lower Learning - 3/10
The football guy was fucking hilarious but the movie was pretty shit. Also bought Dark Knight today and watched it again. Fucking amazing. 10/10. |
Punisher: Warzone - 8.5/10
|
Watch Dark Knight again - 10/10 :D
I actually kind of don't get it. Batman, is he good guy or bad guy? |
The Dark Knight (13th time) 10/10
|

Also I watched Without a Paddle which was pretty funny. 7/10 |
Without a Paddle was pretty funny
$100,000 and my right nut lol Also The Dark Knight (14th Time) 10/10 - I fucking love this movie. |
Er, I watched Begins and The Dark Knight last night
Batman Begins - 10/10 |
Hey Fallen you're Canadian right? Did you pick up the Steelbox version from Future Shop? It has 3 hours of Bonus features. Kind of a letdown to be honest, since there wasn't much 'making of the movie' stuff and no interviews with Heath or Bale (which I was expecting). There's some goofy Gothan News stuff which was unintentionally hilarious.
Still it was worth it since it's just a bad ass DVD case with Joker on the back holding a gun in the street. This was probably my favorite movie of all-time. I'm going to watch it again. |

I love it when they're in the hole fighting and Dan's just standing there so they're like "Stop standing there and help us" and he goes "I have a grenade should I throw it?" and all four of them just pause and scream "NO!" |
I have not "bought" anything, I had a movie recording of it and now a rip, but I fully intend to buy it, it was a hell of a performance from all partys involved. So in Ledgers memory I intend on buying this.

Zack and Miri Make a Porno 8/10
Knocked Up 8/10 Also, TDK again for like the 5th or 6th time. 10/10 |

I'm a huge Rogen fan, I definitly want to see more of him, but I actually think he would kind of spoil it if he was in TDK TBH. TDK was so good that Rogen, with his goofy personality, I think would just ruin it for the time being. Thats just my opinion.
But yeah, it would be funny though. |
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull--9/10. I'd love to give it perfect marks, but the climax seemed kinda like a redo of the first movie. I know there's always been kind of an undertone of "don't mess with this shit," but still. Plus, the aliens weren't as bad as people made them out to be, but the fact is, the movie would have been better without it (Like most of George Lucas' input).
I have Batman:TDK up on queue next, simply waiting to see if Heidi's coming to visit this weekend. Otherwise, Hellboy 2 is probably my next "frst time" movie. |
I've only heard of people either LOVING Hellboy or HATING it. Curious to see what you will think of it. I've yet to see it too.
|
Four Christmases 4/10.
Don't you love the 12 year olds in the theatre who wont shut up then you got security coming over to tell them to shut up? Hilarious. |
Iron Man 8/10
Why is everyone re-rating TDK? I think we got that you think it is the best movie ever made somewhere around the 47th time you rated it a 10/10. I guess feel free to keep doing it? |
The Day The Earth Stood Still (Remake) 2.5/5
|
I Heart Huckabees - 10/10
OK this is not really the first time I've seen it, but I only watched like the second half of it before in like 2004 and thought it was "alright" or never gave it a chance or something. I can't believe I missed out on this movie. I can see why a lot of people would hate it but wow it was amazing. Like it's crazy to me that a movie like this even exists commercially. |
I just rewatched TDK 10/10. J/K it was impure thoughts I had about Christian Bale and Heath Ledger, still okay to rate?
|
The Dark Knight (15th time) - 11/10
Death Race - 8/10 Lord of Dogtown - 2.5/10 |
The Rookie (Clint Eastwood, Charlie Sheen) 9/10
|
dark knight 10/10
|
Hancock 9/10
|

Mark Wahlberg is so insanely hilarious in it. |
Tropic Thunder - 7/10
|
Slumdog Millionaire - 7/10 - Pretty good but way overrated imo. I kinda "didn't like it" because I was expecting so much more but I don't really know what I was expecting and overall it was pretty good the more I think about it.
Lonesome Jim - 8/10 - Mad good. Directed by Steve Buscemi, starring Casey Affleck. Real relatable. The Red Balloon - 6/10 - 1950s French movie about a boy and his balloon. Not bad for what it was. |

Diary of the Dead - 0/10
|
Wall-E 9/10.
Brilliant. That captain and his pizza seeds are hilarious. Wall-E reminds me of my old pet ferret that died :( |
Bolt in 3D!!! 8/10
The Dark Knight, again. 10/10 I gotta say, while not being as good as Ledger's Joker, Aaron Eckhart did a fucking incredible job as Harvey Dent. Mad props to an underrated actor. |
In Bruges - 7/10 - Pretty good. Started off kinda slow then got real good.
4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days - 9/10 - Freaking amazing. So good. Harvey Krumpet - 8/10 - Never watched this before for some reason. Tremendous. |
Day of The Dead - 1/10
|
The Strangers - 2/5. lol
|
Day Earh Stood Still (remake) - 8/10.
|
In Bruges - 8/10
Shallow Ground - 6/10 (B level horror film, not bad, but I have a hard time with horror flicks) The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes - 8/10 (1939, holds up well) Tropic Thunder - 7/10 (Probably would have been funnier if I watched it with others) |
Fiend without a Face - 8/10
If I had been growing up in 1958 I totally would have gotten to second base at the drive-in watching this movie. |
Seven Pounds 10/10
I cried like a little bitch. So what, wanna fight about it? Probably Smith's best role. |
Star Wars: The Clone Wars 8/10
|
Scrooged 7/10
AWESOME movie but ends a bit abruptly. |
In Bruges is bad ass, so good.
Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang is better as far as witty movies go. Probably my favorite movie of all time right now. But I'm watching Seven Pounds tonight, so I'll post my score for that later. |
Traitor - 5/10, it was good, but not great.

Seven Pounds - 8.5/10
It really, insanely depressed me. I got so close to tears during this movie at multiple points. Even about 10 minutes in I was emotionally overwhelmed. I only docked the 1.5 because it kinda dragged in the middle. I feel like I am going to cry. |
I have seriously heard nothing about Seven Pounds until today - when I heard it was Smith's worst opening in 7 years.
What's it about? |
Once you see the whole movie, the opening was great. I don't mind slow movies, so the middle wasn't an issue for me. I felt it was needed for character development, and there wasn't really any unneeded dialogue or things that happened. It's slow, but it all falls together. It's depressing, but it's also a feel good movie. Like I'm not sure whether my tears were from sadness, or from just being really overwhelmed with happiness.
|
So Seven Pounds is kind of like Pursuit of Happyness? POH didn't really drag, but to me, it was kind of slow, and had some emotion in the ending.
I might go and see this :D |
Yeah, kinda want to see Seven Pounds.
Meet Bill - 6/10 It was OK, some funny parts. Nothing special. Shoot Em Up - 2/10 Such a terrible movie. |
lol Shoot Em Up.. rented it when my computer was shot for a couple weeks.. Watched over half of it and fell asleep.. had no urge to rewatch it and finish it so I just returned it.
|
Shoot'em Up was awesome.
|
28 days later 7/10
|
Yes Man 8/10
Carrey really saves this from being completely average. Not great, but worth taking a look. Quarantine 5/10 Got a headache half-way through. Way shaky. Good idea, bad execution. |
WALL-E 10/10
|

Woodcock- 7/10
I lke the way it was shot. |
Walk The Line - 8/10
|
Step Brothers 8/10
Pretty funny, but nothing phenomenal. |
War 8/10.
Really fng brilliant. I read/saw an interview with Jet Li saying the director was focusing on realism during the fight scenes. Fight scenes were badass, but what if they werent focusing on realism? Would have been major kickass. |
Brilliant? Are you sure you watched the same movie I did? For an action movie it was alright.. but brilliant?
|
Milk 7/10
|
Incredible Hulk 6/10
Hellboy 2 6/10 Wicker Man (original, not the retarded one) 7/10 |
Kicking and Screaming - 6/10 (Not the Will Ferrell movie)
Hamlet 2 - 2/10 - What the fuck. What a fucking awful, try-hard, horribly written movie. Fuck. I hated this movie so much. The humor was so awful it made me angry. Ughhhhhhhhhlasdkjf ladfsjk Zack and Miro Make a Porno - 7/10 - Pretty good. |

The Incredible Hulk - 7.5/10
|
Seven Pounds - 8/10
A little too depressing, but still pretty good. |
Sukiyaki Western Django - 1.5/5
Fucking weird. And Eastwood would be pissed off if he saw this/ |
Quantum of Solace 4/5
The Foot Fist Way 2.5/5 |
Yes Man 5/10.
Fun movie to make. Dragged on a little bit, overall it was entertaining. |
King Kong (original) 9/10
I have never and will never see the new version because it is three hours and I can't imagine why the hell I need to watch King Kong that long. Despite the effects obviously being what they are, the rest of the movie still holds up. |
Religulous - 10/10
Bill Maher's message is ironic, considering he himself is God. |
Milk - 7/10 - Good/kinda inspiring. Kinda dragged in some parts like most Gus Van Sant movies but yeah I liked it. Sean Penn is amazing.
|
Gran Turino - 7.5/10 Horrible acting by anyone who wasn't Eastwood. and if you see this in theatres, it's pretty funny to listen to everyone's reaction to Eastwood constant racial slurs. I saw it in Scottsdale and the word "gook" got a cheap laugh every time by older rich white people. I dunno.
Slumdog Millionaire - 9/10 Pretty intense drama even though you know what's going to happen. Good acting too. |
Religulous: 7/10
Religion is fucked. In other news, snow often falls in Winter. |
The Hudsucker Proxies - 7.5/10
|
Seven Pounds: 4/10 - just dragged on and on, with very little leg to stand on for a large portion of it. i liked the story, but the way they told it was unimpressive.
Slumdog Millionaire: 10/10 - See this movie. |
Dead and Breakfast 6/10
|
Hamlet 2 3.5/5
Drillbit Taylor 3/5 |
National Lampoons Bag Boy - 4/10
